I'm glad KFSS has helped you, any martial art is beneficial.
However KFSS Sparring would not be a good idea. These techniques hit vital parts of the body which can cause major damage if we sparred, there is no gear to protect certain places where we strike, i.e. eyes, neck, bladder, kidneys, etc.
If we did spar, it would not last very long at higher belt levels. We train to end fights in seconds, it is not a competition or sport.
for a master in the beginning he is freestyling like a whitebelt. its partly the person who is throwing the punches though. they are punching like they havnt been schooled at all. Im an orange belt and only been doing san soo for 3 years and i can freestyle better than that. I guess its just up to the master to how agressivley to teach them....
Im on the junior system. But that was a long time ago. Now I am a green belt. It goes white, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple, brown,red,black. That is the junior system. I get off of the junior system at 16 years old.
Oh okay dude. No disrespect. I just thought it strange so I had to ask y'know. Good luck with it in your studies! Stick with it! I love San Soo. It just not available in San Francisco : 0
@Metalhead641 The scary thing about watching Jerry is that him and I look and move almost identically. Sometimes I'm not sure if it's him or me in the videos.
Sparring is good but you cant do alot of these techniques when sparring for sport. Best to let one person attack and work your follow up techniques not he hits, I hit, he hits etc. That's how people get into trouble cause fights don't happen that way.
san soo kung fu, no rules in a fight, extremely brutal that's scary.... some aiming to end the fight within 10 seconds with merely 3 blows.... this is the real thing

@Jacklord1967
San Soo has no official belt system... Jimmy Woo implemented a Belt System in America on his own. In china they did not have a belt system.
So some San Soo schools will add more belts for various reasons.
Hope this helps!
