I don't mind them trying out a different sound as long as it works and I thought it really worked. There were some great music on that album. Also, I still found some essence of Beyond in there; it was the subsequent albums after this one that they really strayed from the Beyond sound and the music wasn't as good. I thought Sound was a great album.
Why yes true, its good that they are doing grunge as long as its their own sound like reinventing themselves thats fine. I just think it sounded like a band right out of that Seattle scene during the early 90 is what I am saying. I would have to say compared to their other albums after it was a lot better no doubt. I still would like them to reform

通常心智成熟既人,好多都會聽Beyond既歌
因為Beyond好多歌都有勵志成分。
同e+歌手唔同,e+好多都係愛情歌。
"勵志歌"係關全世界既人事。
"愛情歌"係關部份人既事。
Beyond會以當時社會情況而作曲。
所以我十分欣賞Beyond。

I wasn't disappointed. I love this album. It's an amazing album along with 2nd floor, Rear Portion. I love these 2 post-Ka Kui albums.

I dunno i think they're trying to sound Nirvana, L7, Sonic Youth. Not their own sound. I do like the song Animal Fight though
