when i where on vacation in gran canaria i saw one while i was swimming...he was about 3-4 meters long and about 7 meters away from me....i´ll never forget how his eyes where looking at me...O_O
An example of the saying "Looks can be deceiving." Blue sharks look like they're friendly and wouldn't attack. Don't be fooled, you don't want to piss them off.
Blue sharks are so dopey. I hooked one by hand cause it was biting the outboard motor and circling our boat. Wouldn't take a bait so we pinned it by hand in its pec fin and fought it for 20 minutes on a thread line rod and reel. 7ft and guessin around 100kg. Then removed the hook and let him swim away. We caught a Mako shark 20 minutes before the blue arrived and was only a small one around 4.5ft 23kg. We kept him as it was the first Mako we had ever caught and dam it tasted bloody good.
I understand of the beauty you are talking about, because just few days ago I swam with a 4.5m tiger sharks and got to touching distgance from him while he was feeding on a giant cobia I shot (spearfishing). Its beauty took my breath away !

Apparently Blue Sharks aren't very aggressive and usually stay away from shores. Is that true?

@lonesoldier33 Yeah they're not found close to shore, but they're sooo beautiful... I love sharks, all ways have and all ways will... Nice video!

I love blue sharks, definitely one of my favorites, I was wondering, do you mind if I use a clip of this in my video?
The video is about shark finning, and blue sharks are one of the most heavily finned species.

I love sharks, I wish people would stop calling them evil and man eaters, and just recognise their beauty :).

@HoldingMyLastBreathx thats so true! they don't even like humans! they think we are nasty because we don't have enough fat and enough blood.

I understand that sharks are awesome, but please be careful. They're still wild creatures.
