They don't make 'em like this anymore. Music that actually requires a voice, musicianship, phrasing and nuance. Today, all we get is that rap garbage with the filth, violence, and all that comes with it. A sad commentary on contemporary American "music".
I'm a lifelong Perry Como fan, and this song brings back wonderful memorys of Celtic Football park where they used to play Perry singing it and all the supporters would sing along with Perry holding up our football scarves. unfortunatley they now play Gerry Marsdon singing it (he recorded it about six years after Perry's recording.
I would thank you for presenting this beautiful inspirational song sung by the one and only Perry Como. I first heard it when I was 6 years old in 1957. My mother bought it from the back of a Kleenex box. It has stayed with me a lifetime.
