  • Comment removed

  • The question here is: will it blend?

  • all americans...

  • thanks and good luck to Reva for environment saving efforts.

  • we need to save the world from lots of fuel consumption.

thanks and good luck for Reva's efforts.

    i wish i own a Reva car.

  • we really need to save the world from lots fuel consumption.

THANKS and GOOD LUCK for Reva's efforts.

    I wish I own a REVA car.

  • hahaha anyone who buys an electric car OR specifically a G-Wiz is a COMPLETE IDIOT loool pathetic eco-friendly rubbish!!!!!!!! 4X4's In London 4eva! Petrol will be here forever ELECTRIC CRAP WILL DIE OUT LIKE THE DINOSAURS!

  • What about a airbag?

  • id rather buy an ipod

  • Love it! An EV that looks good!

  • U-G-L-Y

  • I like this car a whole lot. At 50 MPH its too slow for USA roads but I'm sure they can make it go faster. It looks way better than those golf carts/NEV we've been getting from China and I'm sure they last longer too. Pair this with the new $35 Indian PC and you'll have a nice $149 package selling at Walmart.. .wink wink.

  • @JRoque250

Dude, they made the new Reva NXR which can go to 80 mph. It is much better.

  • This car is awesome!

  • No car chases or bank robberies with this one. The 8hr charging and range SUCKS - useless contraption.

  • It is a revolutionary car, but that design needs to be seriously revised.

It looks like a CLOWN CAR.

I would be embarrassed to drive that thing thought I am the greenest Indian you would ever find. Look at the elegant Tata Nano-Europa, Re-style this car a little more appealing. And pressure the govt to give subsidy and I assure you i will be a grand success. Not to mention saving the earth from an imminent climate crisis.

  • That "car" is perhaps the most homosexual thing I have ever seen.

  • word...

  • glocesterharry: homosexual in your country "YES" but very straight in ours.

  • I dont think this thing can be taken seriously anywhere.

  • have u seen the 2010 models? check out the REVA website and select UK for your region (US does not allow Electric Vehicles manufactured outside the country anymore).

Check out the new REVAs. They are far from gay or silly. They look awesome and come with very good standard features now. They have improved by leaps and bounds.

  • because reva make a sport model that is a lot fatser and also a convertable :I

  • how is you have a convertible electric car??

  • Why not demonstrate Reva NXG model which is much better and FAR more sophisticated?

  • So 7-11 delivers now?

  • so your mom swallows now?

  • Hey Kumar was that an attempt at humor? Am I supposed to be insulted now? Try again but lose the preteen insults. If you want to be clever you have to do much better than that.

  • @Chairde:

You can go back to your trailer park now. Mommy's calling.

  • New Reva 2008 Model Are Good On Batteries They Go 200 KM On Full Charge Takes About 3 & Half To Charge On A Cruising Speed Of 120 KM P/H

  • A great looking conversion well presented by a clear thinking/speaking engineer.

America will never see this car, of course, but at least those of you in common sense countries will have a good chance to see and ride such a neat car today or tomorrow. Way to go! Thank you for this video.

  • common sense countries=socialist pansies

  • This same "car" could have been made 30 years ago. It's a low budget effort which is poorly made, appallingly styled, unsafe and utterly useless. 8 hour charging time and only 50 mile radius. Just walk or ride a fucking bicycle. There are already western companies developing PROPER electric cars which will send this thing into the depths of automotive laughing stock forever.

It's already a joke, and environmentalists are just embarrassing themselves by embracing this thing.

  • sweetie..it serves the purpose no matter how it looks.

  • "8 hour charging time and only 50 mile radius. Just walk or ride a fucking bicycle."

  • you wish to take a road trip in this vehicle?? common.. Its for people in the cities who donot drive more than 40 miles a day...studies found that 80% of the population dont drive more than that. Do you really expect ppl to walk or ride a fucking bicycle 20 miles back and forth to work everyday?? haha.. Think hard, which seems very rare. Don't just blurt out words.

  • @naveclipsys Funny, but true- ravasity.com

  • r u an opec member? lol

looks like u r hopping from one EV video to another commenting on every video and bitching about EVs.

    Utterly pathetic.

  • Dumbass.

2010 Reva NXG does 80mph, 130 miles per charge, has GPS, rear view camera, heated leather seats, Bose speakers and charges in 4 hours. All this standard for $18,000 after EV tax rebates. But, guess what? Obama passed a policy that suppresses these cars from entering USA, in a bid to help American Auto industry get its act together.

The new REVAs are being sold all over Asia and Europe. Best selling EV in UK in 2009.

So, shove your arrogance and ignorance up your american ass.

  • First, it doesn't take much to look at my username or even click on my profile to find out that I'm not American.

Second, every comment that I made about the Reva "G-Wiz" was and is CORRECT. Funny how you call me a "dumbass" among other petty insults, yet are unable to refute anything I said and defend your stance by giving features of a completely different. Guess what genius, I wasn't talking about the 2010 Reva NXG, I was talking about the G-WIZ which is the very thing featured in this vid.

  • 1. I admit I did not check your profile to see your nationality. I find that most Americans just rant at anything that is not American. been dealing with that attitude so much that I automatically thought you were one too. I apologize for that confusion.

    2. I agree that the G-Wiz was not great looking. But, the Indian company was a family startup and they went for a cheap ass design firm in California in the year 2000 for a compact car design and they ended up with that thing.

  • Now that they are making profits and spread out to over 20 countries, they hired an Indian car designer and changed their new models. They look very nice to me.

I was just making a point there that given the resources they had, they did better than multi-billion dollar American or European automakers. G-Wiz was the first mainstream electric car in India and UK as well.

  • This guy has more IQ than all your family put together - Chetan Maini built a solar electric car in his 20's . With a name like Dooley - I bet the highest skill in all your family must be to flip burgers.

India is going to run over your sorry ass and you wont even know what hit you.

You can come to pick fruit in our farms if you are looking for a job - you stupid idiot.

  • you have farms in India? How come you are always asking for food handouts, dothead....Happy to hear you pricks are losing all your call centers..worthless.

  • Where did India ask for food handouts .. India is a net food exported to the USA ..

I guess you get your 'facts' from FOX News you dumb motherfucker.

  • They sure the fuck did after the tsunami. Please keep the smelly curry to yourselves, racist.

  • India has never asked for any food handouts...you dumb fuck...get your facts right...it was the US that offered to help...and by the way local disasters like floods happen all the time and the government takes care of that...recently air dropped food packets in flooded monsoon zones...just because the tsunami was a big event meant everyone tried to show their support...India has always been self-sufficient in commodities. You should be more worried about US economy.

  • Right, because if the US economy goes down the tube, it won't effect India at all. They can just outsource all their crappy phone support jobs and shitty coders to China. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA....right.

  • It still doesn't matter...you can shove your outsourcing jobs up your pie hole...it is only 5% of the indian economy...India has it's own automotive, diamond, steel, cotton, tea, textiles, IT firms which write software for 70countries, construction, real estate, and other industries...if you were smart enough to follow cnbc you would know that India has been one of the few countries that have relatively been unaffected by the current financial crisis. You should worry about the US economy.

  • Up an a hole is were the quality of your tech support and software coding belong. Cheap doesn't equal good. You should worry about the 130 million muslims living in India, and the nuclear muslims to your north that just moved their troops to your border. Next the muslims won't kill people with machine guns in your hotels, they will use a nuke. Bye bye India!

  • Wow...u really think India's software quality is not good enough....then how the fuck do you explain US not right writing software for 70 countries? Look you really should be more concerned for the US. The auto industry is dead and the banking as well. As for terrorism everyone has suffered from islamic fundamentalists including the US on 9/11. So you are in no status to judge another country.

  • By the way India isn't going to just watch in case of a nuclear strike idiot. They have nukes too and far bigger and sophisticated than Pakistan does. If in a scenario of nukes being used, which is highly unlikely, Pakistan would be completely destroyed and wiped off while India would have only the northwest portion destroyed because Pak's range is only about 300 km. India would still survive and rebuild.

  • Now u wouldn't know that by watching your Fox News would you. What u also don't know being an ignorant ass that u are is that Pakistan and India fought another war called Kargil War in 1999 which was after they tested their nuclear bombs in 1998. India had been a nuclear power since 1972 but Pakistan joined them in 1998. And in the kargil war which was fought conventionally over 4000 pakistani soldiers died compared to India's 527.

  • If the two countries wanted to really destroy each other they would have done it. You really shouldn't watch the world with your mindset because that is the kind of mindset that has led the US economy to the brink of collapse. You should be thinking about whether or not the financial bailout is gonna work and not worrying about a matter thousands of miles away of which you don't know any facts on or have no clue on what is hapopening.

  • @pdh1:

    Ignorant pre-teen trailer trash cracker.

There are 170 million Muslims in India and they are proud Indians and our brothers.

Don't worry about Pakistan. We will handle them just the same way we did in the 3 wars we had. The ragheads are target practice to our air force.

If you have been watching more than Fox News, you'd know that India has more nuke power than Pakistan.

Majority of the world software is written by Indians. Google and Microsoft hire more Indians than Americans.

  • Help reduse pollution in india drive Green Live Green!

i love it, Electric is what i am all about

  • thts very nice i want to buy one too but bit scared... coz my driving is 75km per day wht if i need more km hmmmm i hope they work out coz now day new cars comming with range of 200miles but they r expensive i hope thing work out so its easy for us to buy

  • The new REVA does 120 miles per charge. If you drive around 75 Kms, it can easily handle it.
