  • where did you get the adaptor for the yukon monocular to attach to scope

  • @papasaguadas I purchased it from an Ebay seller in the Ukraine - Seems like they may be difficult to get hold of. I have seen home made units with weaver rail bolted to the Yukon and Jubilee clips at the front holding it to the scope body with rubber inserts. It did actually look quite good.

  • Easy my ass. Your lucky to have found one of those adapters. If I want to hook up to a scope it's gonna be gen-3 for me.

  • where did you get the adaptor?

  • @chinopino7 Off Ebay from the Ukraine. Yukon part number 29047

  • @carbonrocket hi i just got the hawke nite-eye 3-9x40 ir. do u know what i need for it to be night vision or do i just need one of those ir led admiter lights

  • @glenr649 Google this and look at it in Scott Country

'Pulsar Challenger GS DSA Night Vision Kit'

  • @carbonrocket thanks

  • cheers bud, which model is yours just that the new yukon 5x60 gen1 looks a little long! and you see to 300m which i wont need!

  • what's better the camcorder or this yukon nv??? which is the best picture?

  • @remyd1984 With a good IR laser illuminator you can get great images on a Sony low lux camera and be able to record. A Yukon DSA unit with the same IR laser illuminator will be much better for shooting - much better!

  • @carbonrocket what model is yours??

  • @remyd1984 It was a while ago mine was the 1x model

  • Tried mine for the first time last night on a quick recce, and got 3 in 20 min's, but I need to get used to it, and get a bit more light that the std emitter, then they've hadit !. lol. Cheers Carb' !.

  • @russtatt Yes a better emitter is quite essential. 80mw adjustable spred IR emitter and you will have brilliant views. Good news on the first vermin down.

  • What level do you get that on?

  • @sk8erandcomedian Level 65 after completing the run around blindly firing into the air challenge :D

  • carb what is the cheap omitter u have did u have to add a ir filter, what distance do u get with the 24 led set up

  • @TheBoofdog Cheep emitters are cheep emitters if your going into NV then I would get a decent laser unit. google something like -'ir laser illuminator 200mw' Find a decent NV specialist and look at the focusing IR lasers. wityh a spot to 5 degrees and a good 200mw power, it should do you fine for most shooting to 50m with a gen 1.

  • can u recommend a ir spread laser

  • Where I can find the adapter to fix in my viewfinder day?

I have a Yukon NVMT-2 3x42 and not get anything.

    Thanks and good video.

  • @Farruqueitor PM sent

  • Hi mate, is that adapto still sold? I've been looking for it but havent had any luck, did you get yours off the internet?

    cheers

  • @benjibob99 Yes sold long time ago. Try asking commercial Ebay Yukon NV sellers. Have you emailed Yukon themselves in the USA?

  • sooooooo did you shoot any aliens

  • @milfhunter841 Ha MILFhunter, no not yet. Two vampires and a werewolf so far but no aliens yet! Maybe if my parents were brother and sister before they produced me I might see such things. Still Aliens can bend light around their bodies and have laser pistols mounted to arms with HED target aquisition abilities. They also can fit inside the skins of dead humans and I dont wear a black suit.

Na, no Aliens around here MILF!

    Badgers though, plenty of them.

  • arent the led lights too bright? the enemy can spot you in an instant.

  • @7hippocrates Yes you can see from a short distance the red glow but the rats are intrigued by it. Remember its near IR light so is very very soft indeed. At longer distances the IR glow is invisible but as such the Yukon also cant see its reflected light. Hence why I went into an IR adjustable spread laser

  • @carbonrocket i see you know your stuff

  • I keep saying it , Merc. I want work contact me

  • @Tyson200422 Sorry mate, I am not a Merc. :-)

  • Hi great idea can you advise i have a Yukon 3 x 42 all I need is the rifle scope adaptor you show but all I can find is the whole kit or the option to fit the Yukon on the gun to replace the scope which is not what I want. Your set up looks perfect any ideas have tried ebay no joy?

    Thanks K

  • NICE! how much does that whole gun cost just without the gun lol and the scope

  • @airsoftassassin07 The night vision will cost about £240 all in.

A rifle and day scope will be extra.

  • @carbonrocket thanks but where could i get the double ringed scope rings for the flashlight i really like that

  • @airsoftassassin07

look for 'figure 8 scope mount' on Ebay and you will find them cheep as chips from China. Just be sure of your scope barrel size fits the mount.

  • Awesome

  • omg i can't wait to put it on

  • So you have the emmiters (torches), but doesn't that go against the whole idea of a night vision adapter, since they would light up the surroundings anyway (and potentially scare off wildlife)? Is there no way of seeing in the dark without emmiting a visible light? Good vid :)

  • @PSPmaster321 No mate, the IR emitter on the Yukon is a near infra red emitter picked up by the Yukon night vision unit. It produces a very faint red glow when you look directly at the bulb at close range. Its not noticed at 10m plus.

I carried a seperate torch for any general walking when I needed to see properly where I am going and any dangers.

  • Ohhhhh, I see! Great, that's awesome. I'm going to consider buying one of these. Thank you.

  • thanks mate for the info ill give it a shot

  • hi where did you get the rifle cope adaptor for the night vision i was looking on ebay and the night scope is still available but i don't want to get until i know i can get the adaptor

  • @yammo12 Try Scott Country or the outdoorsman

I Recently sold my unit the produce code is 29047 on the box with the illuminator

Outdoorsman list the code as 29045?

  • simply wonderful. Finally a well spoken and knowledgeable presentation. well done all around, I am now in market for a set up like yours. thanks ten times over!

  • arent silencers illegal? hotness

  • @sanewave

Not in England on a sub 12 foot pound rifle.

  • would you have the part # on that DSA adaptor and who makes it i've looking on yukon web sight and i can't find it thanks

  • @cugo18

Sure its part number 29047 - this is the adaptor and illuminator code on the supplied box

    Carb

  • @carbonrocket

    Its made by Yukon

  • Brilliant.

  • what exactly is the name of the product?

  • Its a Yukon NVMT unit 1x magnification with DSA adaptor (Day Sight Adaptor). I have an IR adjustable spred laser now and it kicks the night into touch!

  • thanks man thats a big help, im thinking of applying this into airsoft...

  • I know same, but it really doesnt make sense if you don't play at least 1 night game a week

  • then play 5 days a week!, not a freaking issue man.

  • yeah some of us have things called JOBS don't know if you've heard of them.

  • *sigh* you know what man? i only gave you a logical answer and you give me a fucking immature whining as a reply?

    go Fuck yourself

  • I think it would be excellent for airsoft. If you keep it in good condition the resale value will be high so you wont loose much and have a great time - at the same time.

  • im just afraid that somebody would flash a surefire on it lol thanks for the info i was actually settling in for the ATN viper but thaks to your vid im changing heart.

  • CarbonRocket is my boy. He is so professional and helpful. Thanks for answering all my questions buddy. Keep up the good work and make an awesome hunting video fast.

  • Did i mention 5**** I'm your 8th rating. 5star awesome

  • Hi,

great system. Where did u buy it?

    Grtz,

    L.

  • Bought the Yukon system from E bay then have since got an adjustable IR laser (this is the puppies privates giving up to 200 m vision in darkness!)

    Carb

  • i'm looking at geting the yukon mvmt3 wth the rifle/laser mount ths weekend. can you tell me wher i can get hold of the scope adaptor from please as like the look of that set up more than the laser system.

  • Sorry mate got this post a bit late as I have been away.

A night vision unit with just a laser pencil beam I do not like at all. Looked at them and not for me sorry.

Either a dedicated NV scope or an attachment as mine. If you go dedicated NV then you would be better to go for a night only rifle and a seperate day rifle.

Your choice go try them out.

My system was from Ebay type in 'Yukon night vision'

    Good luck

    Carb

  • What yukon model is it you have there?

  • NVS1 - 1 X mag fine for rifle use!

  • You should try the new ATN PS22 that attaches in front of you day time scope

  • Just bought the same Yukon night vision scope...when I turned it on and looked threw it I saw some black dots...any thoughts to what that might be.....it's not dirty I just opened it and powered it on...

  • Does the giant IR led lamp give off a red glow to the naked eye?

  • An Ir emitter does give off a rew glow. It is visable at close ranges to the naked eye. Vermin dont seem to care about the 100mW Yukon emitter.

I now have a laser IR adjustable spread emitter and they do notice this but I have excellent views at 100 m, I just have to be quiet when approaching.

    Carbon

  • hi

nice N,V set up, why not do a VID showing YOUR set up working at night shooting rats or rabbits.

    Cheers

  • I Cant do a vid with the Yukon on the rifle I have tried.

I have ordered an adjustable IR laser that I hope will give excellent vision with my Sony Vid Cam. All being well Vids will appear. I have noted badgers, foxes deer and hedgehogs on my night stints and I want to film them. Rats and Rabbits will be shot but NEVER with a sub 12 foot pound rifle will you see me shoot at anything larger!.

    Carbon

  • hope not !!

stick to rats or rabbits.!! ONLY !! with a 12 feet £ air gun, leave the BIG stuff for the BIG GUNS.

Have you seen SnyperCats Vids on Cam Corder Shooting,

check um out She is VERY GOOD.

    So was Snyper Taffys Vids,

all so look at Cudlycats vids.

    Good luck with ya vids.

  • Snypercat has given me lots of advice, not just shooting vids, top lady.

  • Where can i buy the yukon mate?

  • Flea bay to save a few pounds or from a decent shop where you can be assured of an after sales service should the unit have issues.

    Carbon

  • any permits requiered?

  • nah mate

  • I believe and so I do not do such things!!! You are NOT allowed to shoot at all with anything up into trees at night. This I believe is law in the UK. Just dont do such things as its not only bloody dangerous but also against the law as far as I am concerned

  • I have a video response showing an IR filter that fits on a torch that only shows IR light. Good and cheap!

    Carbon

  • hi thanks for replying to my other question about the adapter what is the scope you are using cheers.

  • Hi,

The scope is a JSR 3-9 x50mm Illuminated rectile, focus adjustable and Parralax adjustable.

A low cost scope but IT IS very Very good for air rifles.

From JS Ramsbottom (UK) Hey other scopes are available!

    Carbon

  • hi mate can you tell me where you got the adapter thanks

  • The Tri rail scope mount is off Ebay as is the Yukon NV 1 and scope adaptor.

Type in Yukon NV and you should find one there.

  • Hi could you do a video of what it looks like through the scope even if its just a rough video, I havent seen what they look like.

  • I had a go at filming through the eyepiece but it was really poor as my camera is not good.

But.. looking through the eye peice you do NOT get any fish eye but the view diameter is reduced. For barn shooting and field rabbit shooting up to 40m it is VERY good.
