5k? were do you live imagination land? 5k wont even cover half of all the thing you need. unless your buying used tires your gonna be spending 10-1500 just for tires much less rims. Youll be spending 2000 on for CHEAP rims alone because big rims and low profile tires work best because the tires wont fold. 2k for shocks keep dreamin you need more than just shocks and 2k wont do it. expect to shell out at least 3500 for engine mods.

Trust me low profile tires work the best for drifting but you don't want your rims to be to small either. No you dont need 22 inch rims. it depends on the size of your car. for a civic I would think that 17's might be getting a littile too big. But don't ever, EVER trust anything that says "kit" on it, it WILL be a peice of crap. it's like those starter kits for gutiars that cost 250. And your gonna need torque more than HP to drift but you need HP to make torque, torque is VERY important.

well, as the below person said, maybe 5k, but only for performance. 2k for shocks/springs, 2k for added performance, maybe if u get a honda civic (drag, not drift) expect up to 6k for a engine swap. if you're drifting you have to expect your rims to get f**ked up, so don't waste money on your rims. get cheap ass old tires and crap rims, then practice. it's not as easy as it looks.
