  • Did you all see TickleMe Plant Flower video by the same guy who made this one? Its really cool too. Growing TickleMe Plants from a kit I got online. The only plant that will close its finger like leaves and lower its arm like branches when tickled.

  • Nice time-lapse movie! smooth! Do you know you can make time-lpase movies with any camera with this device: (copy address to browser): tempusALL.bymac.org

Works with ANY camera! cool :P

  • awesome!

  • i was blown away at how easy and fast radishes grow here in NC. soft soil, a little water, and they'll be up in no time

  • i get hungry

  • 9 days? Really? Our radishes aren't growing that fast. Are yours inside of a greenhouse? I know they really sprout in a greenhouse.

  • perfect music for this!!!

  • STUNNING

  • those are some slutty whore- plants! :I

  • Time lapse really reminds you that plants are alive. Without it, one kind of thinks of plants as dead.

  • @mphello Not if you are an avid gardener. Not only are the plants very much alive but so is the soil which is teeming with life

  • @rydag11 yes this whole world is alive

  • Very nice details

  • Lool

  • it's like they're dancing! :D

  • How'd you cut the dirt in half so perfectly?

  • how long does it take to sproutt?

  • I feel bad for the fourth one from the left...

  • can't wait for my cannabis plant to sprout!

  • @marinlarin

    with reggae music?/

  • how did you make this

  • Why are there 3 music tracks in one? 0:00 Piano Music, 0:01 Banjo Music. 0:35 Farmville.

  • Great video.

  • @mindlapse what framerate did you end up using for your video?

  • very cool! i found this video researching settings for sprouting seeds. nice work.

  • is this the song from some Mario game sang in country stile ???

  • haha nice video ^_^

  • how they died..

  • it's not merely about biology, law of physics applied too as these plants balance themselves with extensive network of roots while sprouting.

  • imagine if these growth enzymes could be used in human body to promote penis or breasts enlargement, muscle growth etc i hope one day such dream will come true...

  • Thats cool. I did want to swing my partner round and round and dosey doe.

  • the leaves is nt like that

  • lol banjo music XD

  • aw I wish I could do that with my cacti!!!!

  • It is a time lapse! It is hundreds of pics sewed together!

  • fake! it´s CGI, plants don´t grow that fast!

  • @dumbzebra orly

  • i feel sorry for the one in the middle... hes really having a hard time getting light.

  • those plants look very healthy

  • nice sound

  • Whats the name of the song?

  • @unknownsoldierz It sounds very similar to "run away mule" or something. Once featured on the Andy Griffith show.

  • Lord say have your body with seed or like that, have to say my body could be over 900-1600 seeds. This of his people......feel could go other ways.

  • frickin brilliant job

  • keep the biggest one and mass breed it till you get a plant that grows super fast and big. playing god is fun sometimes :(

  • Could I load this video onto my computer? This is perfect for a project I'm creating! =)

  • the banjo music makes this video a winner! =P

  • fantastic! thank you!

  • cool.

i know how dose plants grow.

but waching this movie is cool

  • Thanks for posting, it was great for my two-year-old to learn about seeds turning into plants...

  • This is Amazing. Great Video!

  • This is great. Plants exist on a different time scale to us, it's great to see them sped up.

  • this is pretty cool

  • no, they help us in our environment they make oxygen and food

  • amazing how the plant can make copies of cells just using chemicals in the soil

  • That's the beauty of nature.

  • Those are radishes. The white stuff around the roots are indeed root hairs, or rhizoids, which hold the plant in the ground, collect water and digest organic material. Magic stuff!

  • that's sweet:D

    what seed did you use?

  • Was the white stuff that formed around the roots, mold or root hairs?

  • Root hairs for water/nutrient absorption.

  • Cool!!

Anyway, out of topic,, What's the title of the song you use?

  • magically corny vid! =D

  • it's a miracle

  • lol

  • would anyone know why im addicted to them?

  • stop smoking the raddishes dude!

  • amazing. !

  • lol radishes

  • ah i get much better understanding now of what my seed is busy doing, 2 of these seeds though did not germinate?

  • LOVED IT!

    SO SHARING IT!

  • Hey, is a fungus what it´s in the root when the plant is growing? I´m looking for something about nitrogen nodles in video, it´s seen a white thing around the root, don´t you know what is it?

  • root hairs, this is the most important part of the root where the actual absorbtion of water and nutrients take place.

  • Hi, I have heard about a symbiotic relation between fungi and roots. I believe there is some sort of fungus in the roots of plants that help with the absorption of water and nutrients. That's why fungus gnats target roots.

  • its actually bacteria that live inside root nodules and fix nitrogen from the atmosphere, Rhizobium lives in legumes mostly. fungus does have a symbiotic relationship as mycrorrizas, which live around the roots and give them a larger surface for absorption, most plants couldnt live without them.

  • Wow. Thanks for sharing!

  • NICE!

  • maravilloso!

  • Eh that mother nature.

    Congrats mom ;)

  • This is amazing.

  • cool

  • Cute. :) ..but... where are the actual raddishes? I don't see the bulbous edible parts??

  • Radish roots don't usually get bulbous until they've been growing for a long while. These sprouts are far too young.

  • i planted mine but i forgot 1 or 2 plants to pull out and now its still in my garden over growing with flowers is it possible if some 1 could tell me what will happen

    abdal

  • They may be hot to taste and spongy. You should try them anyways.

  • When my seed germinates and has a white root coming out do I plant it in the soil with the root up or down? how much hours of light does it need?

  • root down! 12 hours light 12 hours dark

  • nice

  • These plants are.. DANCING?

  • sun goes up they go up, sun goes down they go down

  • wow! if i plant radishes in my garden does it really come with banjo music?

    heheh

    banjo

  • @gymshiv

There will be banjo music but it will be...really.....really.....sloooooow

  • @gymshiv I wish. XD

  • @gymshiv no, but if you plant potatoes it'll come with celtic music

  • @kocaphony ^^^ thats pretty clever :)

  • @gymshiv ...yes

  • @gymshiv,

You made my day. Nice comment. Thumbs up. :)

  • Darn two seeds!! Why didn't they get with the programme!?! Liked the video! : )

  • I LUV THIS VIDEO! I AM PUTTING A MINI DVD PLAYER UP AT MY SCIENCE FAIR PROJECT DIPSLAY PLAYING THIS VIDEO! i ♥ the music... whats the song???

  • Thanks so much for posting the video. It helped me out alot with my science fair lol.

The music reminded me of Mario. :-)

  • they look like they are waking up, stretching out, and saying "hello world"

  • Cool! I have three lima bean plants growing risht now.

  • two of these ones didn't make it, maybe when some people still the same others are growing and developing, not the age but evrything else

  • Ugh, the music's horrible, sorry. But this was very pretty, and it helped me a bit with an assignment! lol Thanks! :)

  • this is life! :)

  • Life of plants is so interesting and beautiful.

  • Looked like they were dancing ^^

  • well u are the only one who doesnt realize the point of this video

  • its the most boring shit

  • Very Good

  • its cool how the soil dissapears as the plants suck the nutrients.

  • Actually I believe it's just the plant pushing the soil out of the way. Plants get most of stuff to build them from the CO2 in the air and H2O (water). The nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus used in fertilizers (and thus in the soil) are a very small part of the soil.

  • Is it just me or does the music remind you of a level from SNES Super Mario World?

  • I thought the exact same thing LOL

  • EERIE!

  • yankee music

  • I like that, its full of action and great choice of music.

  • Top film very well lit and shot.

From the comments I see from teachers and the quality of your work I think you could make a good reputation for educational films

  • nice video!!!

  • love the effect ^^

  • That's pretty cool. It's almost like the plants are dancing.

  • cool

  • Ahh you're 14. That explains it.

  • thanks

  • we have found soil based sprouts as the beauty to have whether we can't see underside compared to skimmed mud so to speak in water jar version etcetera. there's something for feeling altogether good with ground serving as a component, or finding out needs to make it work as that ha-ha. & without tangled mess to accept as easier. the micro greens shouldn't be short-circuited because they have appearance of everything, like children or general~

still, when accomodation can be met marinate's a +

  • cool

  • Thank you, thank you! I planted radish seeds, but wasn't sure if what I had was weeds or radishes--thanks to your great video, I've confirmed that mine ARE radish seedlings!

  • Awesome video, I only wish it were longer.

  • I love time lapse videos!

I have two on my account, neither are as good as this, but if you like time lapse check them out. One is Time Lapse sunset. The other is Time Lapse Heat Lightning Storm.

They are done with multiple pictures faded together, not with a camcorder. I didn't have one at the time.

    I hop you like it!

    -Manzilla86

  • my radishes don't realy look like that...

  • the important thing is you tried

  • actually it's because I didn't plant them deep enough. There developing nice radish's right now...a bit thin and stooped, but good, given they were planted in the middle of the winter.

  • nice. bet you grow weed as well :-P

  • Hi Bud, some of my tomatoes may look like weed and some of my Night Shades may look shady but no illegal stuff growing here.

Well, maybe that strange looking mushroom in the compost pile ;-)

  • cool!

  • Bloody well done. I applaud you. But, not entirely accurate as the leaves were being exposed to light before having broken the surface. Hence photosynthasis made the leaves green and the stalk reddy green underground. The solution would be an incredibly complicated combination of night vision cameras in a dark box next to the glass. Which would be far too much work for only a slight improvement on a good video. Cheers

  • Hi Martin, that's very observant of you and you are correct in the fact the seed leaves (cotyledon) would not normally start to turn green until after breaking the surface. Night vision cameras use IR and would produce a monochrome picture. The best way to re-shoot this video and make it 100% accurate would be to use a pair of studio flash units. This would also allow shooting at night when the grow lights are off. Take care, ML

  • Super...now I know what my radishes are doing both above and below ground. Excellent job...and the music made it very entertaining. Thanks

  • cool,

    thanks 4 posting ;)

  • They remind me of little babies stretching (:

  • me agree

  • Awesome! well done!!!

  • Nice vid

  • EXCELLENT VIDEO

  • wonderful

  • Can't stand radishes, but I like the footage a lot!

  • the music just made it cooler

  • VERY COOL!

  • nice

    lol

  • how freakin awesome

  • Thank you so much for posting your website. I am showing the kids this video at the middle school:)

  • would like to use this as a flash movie on a website - can you get in touch? best wishes

    mike

  • I would love to be able to use your video on a power point presentation I am creating for my 2nd graders we are studying the lifecyle of a seed, can I link to your video but without going through youtube? WE cannot use youtube at school. THank you.

  • Hi cjw, I have a much sharper Quicktime version on my web site at:

    dcpages (dot) net

I will try to send you a private message with more info.

    Later, ML

  • really nice!

    g

  • In Blighty (Great Britain) Kids call radishes 'Burpleberries'. If they don't make you burp, they are not propper radishes.

  • hey this is great, I'm a primary school teachers: is there a way i can get it to show my class, we're doing germination etc but our school filters out youtube so there is no way i can show my class this video on here and they'd love it!

  • Hi Laurasmiles, first try to see if you can view the much sharper Quicktime version I have on my site at: dcpages (dot) net

If you do not have Quicktime available or can not install it let me know and maybe I can make a Windows Media version. Another option could be to make a Power Point presentation. I will look into that.

    Hope this helps, ML
