  • Nice bobber man! Got one my self, did you have to rejet it after you took ok the mufflers? I have the same set on my 04 classic. I what to change up the pipe for cheep.

  • Awesome looking bobber, man. It's almost exactly what i'd want mine to look like. I'm just getting into biking, but this is pretty much what i'd like. Great job!

  • Looks good, but why go to all that rtrouble and leave the frame stickers, reflectors on it.

Lose the stock handle bar control boxes, get a lower tree from a custom and shave the fork legs and it would kick even more ass.

  • why would a 650 have drum brakes rear ?? strange

  • DUDE kuto's GREAT JOB!!! looks wonderfull i just love how punks get on here

talking shit about how metric bobbers are "wanna bee" harleys. Man don't they just wish they could ride im sure at there point in life they would ride a scooter LMAO good job dude looks nice ONE question. who made your custom seat? looks great and what am i looking at price wise as i myself am building a custom bob

  • HOw did you mount your front fender to the back?

  • nice byke! congratulations!

  • Awesome looking bike bro...but i'd rather hear the bike than the tunes. Great work tho...

  • Damn what a beast!! Heavy ****ing metal!

  • Shaft drive? I'm trying to figure out how to do this with my old 91 1100 shadow.

    Nice bike man.

  • The bike is sick. Nice job. Looks awesome.

  • @deathtrap68 actually its not a wannabe harley, just a cool metric bobber that I built for less than $600. the bike costed about $2000. I own a Harley so it woul be stupid to build a wanna be when I ride one everyday

  • thats a v star....sick

  • Great Bike, congratulations from colombia, south america.

  • This bike is sick. Have you ever done this before? I would like to know if you sanded all your parts down before you painted them. Nice job on everything.

  • @clb031106 Yes this was my first. and yes i sanded all the parts but not to the metal. painted with rattle can industrial flat black

  • Whats yours front tire?

  • Love it. Handlebars aren't my taste tho, they always seem to look like a suprised dog

  • sick

  • what forward controlles did you use?

  • Super nice!

  • What tank you got on there ??

  • you've done a fantastic job, it looks the dogs bollocks

  • Cooooooooooooool!

  • which is better vulcan 800 or this vstar 650?

  • how much money did you put into the bike to get to that point?

  • yo bro, your exhaust pipes. Are they just stock one's cut??

  • Someone made a comment wrong fail a bobber refers to the sprung seat and chopper. Because in the early days the guys literaly choped any unnessacery parts off their bike well that's how I understand it

  • amazing!

  • I love cheap customs looks great!

  • wish i could have seen the process. really want to start my own.

  • bro.. would you mind telling me where did you get the extended wires for the ape from?? sick bike dude /// peace

  • bobber is a term for a bike wich is stripped of all the extras, tradionaly for speed, but now for looks as well.

  • @420stefan

    That's a chopper

  • what does "bobber" mean?? :)

  • Damn it, Why the hell did your shop close!?

  • Love the 12 Stones. Sweet Japa-Choppa-Ricea-Bobba!

  • I had the same rear fender idea for the bike I'm building right now. Did you weld it to the arm or bolt/screw it? My bike is the one with the Shark mouth on it...Im finally getting around to bobbing it...your bike looks good. Mine should look about the same except with the Sharkmouth tank and a chrome solo seat. Let me know how you attached the fender...I'll be doing that this week most likely. Thanks

  • Well done. I took about a month of evenings to build mine as well. The seat I ordered didn't come in, so I improvised. To answer the question below: they will GO, especially after bobbing about 70 pounds off the bike. Lots of fun.

  • Very Cool. Is it the original frame?

  • sweet, what size apes?

  • sweet!! what size apes?

  • Real nice, did you lower the frame at all?

  • god damn thats a nice bike! Well done!

  • These 650's are really smooth when on the road. Could use a little more power, like an extra 300 ccs, but other than that, they ride decent. I got mine brand new for 5 thousand dollars, an 08

  • Sick bike. I like how you painted the odomoter dash. I'm doing the same to my 650 Vstar custom and making it look more like a midnight warrior.

  • sick lookin bike bro. im thinking about buying a v star 650 myself this weekend. as far as that 650 motor goes..... how is it on power and accel. will it get up and go if i want it to??

  • slick. what did you use to paint your speedo housing? it cleans the tank so much. cheers.

  • slick. what did you use to paint your speedo housing? it cleans the tank so much. cheers.

  • @goodlifena the whole bike was done in industrial flat black rattle can from lowes.

  • where did you get your rear fender, or did you make that yourself as well? Blue collar bobbers has one but I like the higher cut off of yours.

  • @swtchbldsmphny this is the front fender turned around and mounted as the rear.it does take some cutting to get it to this stage.

  • is this a beginners bike?

  • Download your Free Yamaha Motorcycle TODAY - ** yamaharepairmanual (dot) org **

  • Thanks, I stripped the outer covers off the upper forks to get an old school look. Removing th forks from the triple trees then remove the covers would be the easy way. But it can be done but carefully cutting them off with a die grinder and cutoff wheel, just be carefull.

  • hey there great bike ! Id like to know what you did with the fork ?? did you only remove the covers and was it a great time consuming mod ??? thx

  • MUY BONITA MOTO

  • awesome bike

  • Where do you get a springer seat like that?

  • thats an one of a kind. i hand tooled, carved and dyed this over a couple days.

  • vary nice i have been working on a project but im out of work so it will have to sit till i get more money good luck on your build i like the apes

  • nice ride

  • hi thats one nice bike!! thinking about doing the same to mine. when you added the apes did you have to remove the rubber bushes from the yokes and replace with nylon or alu or did you keep the original rubber ones in ?

  • Is that the tip of the front fender in the back? great idea, If so how did you mount it?

  • Very nice work man! I have been changing my V-star since 2004 and was just thinking about going in that very direction. Very nice!

  • Im right in the middle of a project just like this with a v star. How did you mount the seat? Im kinda stumped when looking at the frame.

  • U got any pics? Im about 70% complete with mine....just got done painting and all that...love to see what u got going on!

  • check out the new vids. Tires ordered today should be in by the weekend but I aint holdin my breath.

  • I know a guy here in Irving that can make some nice pipes for your ride. You might know him. His name is Patrick. He hangs around the Vstar 650 CC&D site.

  • Patrick (Cruzn)? That the same cat?

  • Yesir

  • What front bar and blinkers did you use? I am looking to do something very similar to my 650.

  • that is the stock bar cover just cut the bar down. got the lights on e-bay for super cheap. (9 bucks for the set)

  • bobbers dont have swingarms.

  • what do you ride??

  • I have a lot of bikes, but my "bobber" is an XL hardtail with 2.5 inches of stretch in the rear of the frame. I think your bike rocks actually, dont get me wrong. I cant stand stock, you did a wonderful job.

  • thanks, your bike sounds awsome. glad to hear you ride, it just pisses me off to hear someone tell a biker about how a bike should be and they dont even ride...

  • AWESOME BIKE DUDE

  • once again great job hope to c u drivin that beast around town

  • Beast???? It's a 650????? Where is the beast in it? But YES , it does Look really good for a Vstar 650

  • get negative because i said 650 is not a beast , you must be the 5'8" and under crowd...

  • I have no reason to get negative. this is my bar hopper... I am 6' and 240--- beast it is not but fun as hell. I do how ever have a street glide that carries my ass around...

  • Was not intended for you , Some other haters who did negative on my comment. I own A 99 vstar 650 and Also a have a HD Street Glide Aswell.. Was not hating on it , I love the look , I myself have alot of chrome , vans and hines , Custom hardbags and even moded a HD Batwing inner and out fairing on it looks almost like my HOG. In no way was I knocking the bike , just is no beast...Power wize.. Not crap talking texo..

  • o sorry, the beast is ur mom...she looks just like an ape

  • Now you are the Beast... Go back and read the last comment to Texo you homo , I have no prob with the bike , I own one myself homo. as well as HD , I compare it to most bike and the Star does not compare POWER wise thats why I said not a beast. But the bike in this vid is very nice , read the second half of my comment before you knock fag.

  • wow...ur a real badass, i wish i could be so hardcore to someone on the internet...btw ur mom still looks like an ape, but i wuld still tap it

  • who was trying to be a bad-ass or Hard as you say. Im no internet thug , Its people like you who start stuff on the net , get a life tuff guy , You have no business even in this convo. stop trying to be hard and clown people , your stupid. this is my last responce , and with the mom jokes , you must be a lame dick kid. Grow up son. He has my prop's on the bike ,

  • Thanks for the tip. I just bought a 650 also and im deciding to do exactly the same thing, but im just trying to picture it. Ive been looking for rims bigger rims, but i cant seem to find any online, do you know of any?

  • very nice ive gotta 01 650 also. where did u get the seat, and the rear fender, looks awesome. is this in the wichita falls or lawton area, i noticed ur name

  • The rear fender use to be the front, after a little cutting it fit perfect. I bought the seat pan off of ebay and cut, tooled, dyed and laced some leather I had at the house. It has a 1/2 in foam pad but you wouldnt know it. I'm in the Wichita Falls area.

  • whats the size of your rear and front tires?

  • Stock right now. When I order new tires I think i'm going to get a larger front to better match the rear. I'll keep yall posted when I decide what I want..

  • really nice. how much did this project cost? looks great!

  • The bike cost 2800 and sofar I have 400-450 in the bike. still need to get tires (around $250) and build the exhaust (scrap peices from our local muffler shop).

  • I'm loving how you went low budget with it! I'd ride this before I got on a 60,000 build of ANY kind!! Nice work friend! I def. wanna get some info from ya!

  • I like this bike...I just got my v star back together and while it was apart I thought about leaving the fenders off and going with a solo seat. Nice job...this may be what I do when I get tired of mine the way I just finished it...check it out on here. Warhawk V Star... Satin Black n One Shot.

  • sick bike. fellow vstar 650 riders, can you check my youtube vid and help my views and rating. i'm new and just added my vid of one of the sickest vstar 650's. it is a true bobber/chopper. check it, you won't be dissapointed. 18"&21" wheels, single tube backbone w/2 gal.peanut tank, clean down tubes and true rigid hardtail, not a monoshock replacement. rich phillips seat, hand made exhaust, custom coil/ignition mount, radius plate mount, hand made handlebars, harley forward controls, etc
