  • To all those who think that GWB and McCain have a clue what they are talking about, let me just reiterate what I have long maintained. It is the virtue of the American soldier, not of our national leadership, that has brought what success we see in the military aspects of operations in Iraq, and in the community building.

GWB and his would-be surrogate McCain are the authors of the waste and corruption bleeding iraq dry.

  • Great, best post yet Condi.

Now here is why I, & many others are voting Republican and not socialist, I mean Dem. 1st Mr. Magoo is not even on my top ten list but when it comes to ideals he is closer than Hussein. I believe abortion is murder of a child. I believe in a strong 2nd amendment to protect my family & ensure our remaining rights collectively. I believe judges should care more for children than child rapists. I believe in a leader with military experience during war time. & so on.

  • I hope you enjoyed having it rammed up your shitchute sideways you fucking dunce.

  • I did my own research on Canadian history. It has blood on its hands too.

  • "I did my own research on Canadian history. It has blood on its hands too."

Well, that makes it all ok that the US is the bloodiest of them all, doesn't it.

  • No, but it's like the pot calling the kettle black.

  • no way! if you want bloody hands then surely England, Catholicism and Spain are the real contenders.

  • yeah, i think our fights were between the french and the english, and then we all got along we came down and kicked america's ass in 1812 and burned the whitehouse to the ground, got back to canada and had beer and whiskey and damn fine canadian chicks

  • If you are so damn morally superior to Americans then you should have a problem using all goods and services made and produced by Americans. You would be benefitting from and contributing to a system that you clearly have strong moral objections to. Say what you want, but you are a fraud because you are too stupid or lazy to back up your convictions.

  • You guys are ridiculous, Conduit99 has a damn good point... I'm an american and I can see that... Learn your history and find the truth and you will realize that this country was built on corruption, evil and lies... but you completely forget the facts because 87% of Americans take what the TV says and focus on their ego state of mind and while life is a party or a state of overconsumption to feel like your someone, they own your and your a damn fool...

  • They own your and your a damn fool...

    huh?

87% of Americans have no clue what you are talking about

  • So then tell us about your angelic ancestry O GREAT ONE

From what crack in Terra Firma did you sprout forth, whence the amiss have NEVER conquered?

Please enlighten us O man from Perfect land

  • You don't live in America? duh

  • Angelic ancestry I guess, "you here to judge us before our time?" Too bad you couldn't make our enemies go into pigs though, they would love that (((this all might be way over your head)))

  • tell me where you live I'll sent you some paper towels, have you ever volunterd for anything in your city or your country. that might be part of the problem. and by the way the indians have figured the system out and IAM TRUELY HOPING YOU GET SOME MONEY FOR YOUR PAIN AND SUFFERING. I MEAN NO ILL WILL WOULD YOU TAKE THE MONEY AND JUST LEAVE PLEASE?

  • So why you are you still here?

  • If you had any conviction you would stop using all goods and services produced by Americans. For you to come on Youtube to make these comments are the equivalent of me going to your house, eat your food, and insult you, the host, afterwards. condit99 you are an ass.

  • fuck you

  • Pelosi

  • Jesus this bothers me... Why aren't me like this promoted... Why aren't men like this in power.

    FUCK this fake politicians

  • How come the Young Turks have to use footage that looks like they recorded it in there Grandparents basement?

  • I remember this report. He was a real sharp guy for understanding the culture and putting together this slideshow. Too bad we lost him.

  • You liberals are some of the meanest people I have ever seen. Jeesh. You are like a bunch of spoiled children that never grew up.

  • insightful

  • Cmon aubicatt, I thought Limbaugh was pretty mean when he was making fun of Michael J Fox. What do you think about Michael Savage attack on autistic kids? Do you think that Ann Coulter was nice for picking on 911 widows? I guess I have issues with all of these right wing pundits and the sheep that listen to them. They always take cheap shots at people and whine when some criticism gets thrown their way. It's shameful to be a Republican in this environment.

  • Ok, now lets put this in some perspective turkey. War is never pretty and always imperfect. BOTH sides (right or wrong) will be able to pick from the carcass of military mis-steaks in this war. We have to take that as a given and try and determine who will be a better Commander-in-chief based on their experience and past performance. While Obama may seem to talk a good game, he lacks in these departments and that scares many Americans.

  • Everyone knows what happens when an idiot is the Commander-in-Chief (Bush), and do we really want another idiot in that position? McCain came nearly last in his class, whereas Obama graduated magnum cum laude from Harvard.

Neither has direct war-time, C-i-C experience, and the fact that McCain thinks he does worries me that he may believe his own experience is adequate and not seek advice from others. Great men surround themselves with greater (Clark) men, and Obama has done just that.

  • Well first of all Bush is far from perfect, but we have had zero (0) terrorist attacks since 9/11 and for that he must be given credit.

Next please don't try and tell me about the people Obama is surrounding himself with, we all know his history with those wonderful people. Let's just hope it doesn't keep him out of The White House.

And Finally. YOU CAN'T BE TAUGHT WHAT WAR IS UNLESS YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED IT! Don't care how may degrees you have. Some experiences must be lived my friend.

  • Far from perfect is an understatement. He's done a lot of damage to the US and it's reputation.

  • fuzzyb., you don't have to be a soldier to manage a war, just as you don't need to be on the assembly line in GM to be its CEO.

Managerial wisdom isn't only about seeing what's there, but also what isn't and what could/should be. Considering McCain is playing catch up with Obama on Afghanistan, I believe BO has the foresight that JC doesn't.

Lastly, education IS important because you need to learn from other people's experiences much more than just relying on your own. Iraq isn't Vietnam.

  • maybe gm needs assembly worker

    CEO's

  • test

  • Education is VERY important.

However somethings can't be taught in the classroom alone, riding a bike for example.

You also can't teach someone what it's like to be a victim of a horrible crime, and I pray it's something most people won't have to learn.

War is one of those things that people who have experienced it never forget but often try to. Yes, I would feel more comfortable with a CIC who has shown himself courageous through such a time than a man who has proven nothing of the same.

  • sorry? and McCain the nam who almost SUNK the USS FORESTAL in the nam war a better leader? please dont make me laugh!

McCain is SENILE .. after Bush the boy idiot he might be an improvment but some how i doubt it!

  • Obama has a better fundamental grasp of the Iraq war. He does not believe like McCain does that Iran and Al Qaeda have some sort of alliance. Obama also understands that Bin Laden is in Afghanistan and not in Iraq and that we should have our troops over there looking for him.

Bill Maher is right. McCain is a warrior who is dumb about war. He does not understand the enemy. He's not fit to be Commander-in-Chief.

  • So Obama has a better grasp of the war? Is that based on the number of times he has been there or his reverence for the sagacity of Bill Maher?

  • You think McCain has a better grasp? Why do you say that? I am looking for an answer, not an argument. Just want to know your thoughts on the subject.

  • What experience does OB have with managing a war, or any sort of direct military training or familiarity, maybe holding a staple gun? Trust me, I wish we had other choices, maybe Mac can hypnotize our enemies to sleep with one of his "my friends" speech. The fact is, well, they both sort of suck, but on this issue Mac has the experience, and military background to be a more effective CIC than an unproven untested Jr senator that we truly know very little about.Mac has also proven to be honorable.

  • I understand your point. McCain does have the experience but does he have the better judgement. That is the more important question. We know how the world sees Bush and America under Bush. Which of the two nominees is the world more willing to listen two? in your opinion. Keep in mind what is happening with Venezuela and Russia. Just something to think about.

  • There are other problems Nuge. The fact is neither you or I know for sure what these two may do when they get in there so that is why we have to base so much of this on their integrity as well as, if not more, our own intuition. But with me, as I'm sure you, I have other issues I'm very concerned about. Obama is WAY to liberal for me and I believe his policies could harm me directly. My opinion,, he will be soft on crime, raise taxes, soft on immigration, ruin The Supreme Court, you know the rest

  • I understand and respect your views. I thank you for taking the time to write your response. It is not often that when you respond to someone's comment, they respond intelligently. We do disagree on the points, and I, like you with Obama, feel McCain's policies stand for what I am against. For the most part. But I can leave it at that. I just don't understand why it has to be one way or the other. I will continue...

  • America is not either demo. or repub. so why force the other side's hand. Isn't the goal of government to do what is best for the country and not for a particular party. I think that has been lost. Maybe it never was like that. I do not know. What I do know is that no one will have the answer for america's problems if they only listen to one voice. or party for that matter. In essense, what is being said is- "Those that agree with me, you are good. Those that don't, to hell with you....

  • I hope who ever gets into office will do what is best for the country and not for a political party or base. I hope that after they win, they give a speech that consist of, "We may have differences on our religious beliefs, on how we see race, on how we see gender. We may come from different backgrounds, different circumstances. But we are a nation that must strive to unit dispite our differences, not divide because of our differences. We must forge to new tomorrow based upon hope, not fear...

  • that will sound really good coming from obama lips

  • But this is my idea. my opinion. have a good day.

  • But your idea is brilliantly true .. your opinion is spot on .. i agree 100%.

  • This war has done more harm to the US than you are willing to admit. Not only lose 4 thousand plus soldiers, we have managed to make ourselves more vulnerable to future conflicts. The Army is in bad shape and if we were ever called upon in another major conflict we would be unprepared. We need more trained personnel to make our Army strong again. This will take years. McCain's plan of staying in Iraq is encourages more conflict in the region.

  • Dont forget injurd solders who now need tax dollars to support them. I think all veterans should receive the best care, but its expencive and they should of never been fighting in Iraq. Obama 08!

  • I would vote for my mailman over McCain if he understands that we should be pursuing Osama in Afghanistan rather than wasting lives and our taxpayer dollars in Iraq.

  • If our immigration policies continue the way they do (thanks Pelosoi and Bush!) Osama just might be your mailman. And while Mr. Magoo would do nothing to stop him, Obama would probably GIVE him the job through some new form of liberal immigrant affirmative action.

  • Fuzzy, you have more to worry about from NAFTA than you do from amnesty. Obama doesn't support NAFTA or CAFTA, but McCain does. With McCain's support for NAFTA, manufacturing will continue to be exported. Why promote the destruction of our economy for someone else's benefit?

  • Did I say I supported either of these clowns? Because of certain rights I am voting party line but am not happy about it, so Mr.Magoo it is because he is the lesser of the 2 evils. I know that's old by know, but it's true.

  • fuzzy, I'm a Republican voting for a Democrat. I'm voting for the person that can best protect my interests. With gas being at $4, jobs going overseas, and banks, stocks, and mortgages "hitting the wall", I think its worth considering changing how things are done in DC. They had Congress, the Supreme Court, and the Presidency and now we are in a bind.

  • Well see that's the problem, your a republican. I am a conservative, and an unhappy one at that. I highly doubt you are a republican anyway if you are going to give this nut a crack at the supreme court. These 2 will no doubtingly screw up many things, but the one thing our party line vote might have some weight with would be their pick for the supreme court. But if you like the idea of protecting child rapists rather than children go ahead and vote for this fraud, since your one yourself.

  • My voter registration is Republican, I might switch parties since the GOP has given up its libertarian values.

  • Libertarian values have nothing to do with the Repiblicans. That's a lie. Smart people are usually libertarian because they can understand the meaning of communal value, personal value, wealth classes, and are great moral and ethical characters (in some respects)

so what you do is you vote for the Demy's who allow equal opportunity to floruish - so you have the opportunity to control your life. the gov't provides from taxes, but you can easily manage to self govern yourself.

  • Sure, whatever. You are way too condescending to get a thoughtful response from me. I already voted, but thanks for the "advice" anyway.

  • It's funny now Libertarians always say that they tend to be smart people. Nobody else objectively looks at Libertarians and says, "Hey, those guys are smarter than me."

No, Libertarians tend to be affluent because their philosophy only *benefits* the affluent. You'd be crazy to be a poor Libertarian.

  • This made me sad, again.

  • Yeah, it's hard to interview someone while they're dead... they really don't say much

  • McCains been dead for months and he still manages to do interviews. somewhat.

  • To be fair, they are our representatives in Washington. The stupidity and the selfish corrupt nature of them. I think they are a very accurate representation of our society. Those that are good and want to make a change, can't because of the sick nature of it. Sounds about right. I just think the Republican's learn this early on, and decided to adapt early. They are still light years ahead when it comes to selfish corrupt evil acts.

  • You think politicians give two $hits about a regualr solider? Hell no. They are just bodies to be counted.

  • No heroes in Washington, imagine if all men and women elected would listen to real heroes we might have them alive today. Thanks for showing the truth it means allot to all of us.

  • You guys think politicians care about soldiers? Politicians care up to the point that it doesn't anger the guys who pay them
