i saw this bike up close at the motorcycle show, and it is as u say what a nice bike and the price for what u get is fantastic,i would like the smaller bore brother as i would take it through tougher technical stuff, but this is on my must have list
Great series, thanks for posting. I had the same experience as Phillipe, smashed collarbone and broken ribs. I had to ride out but luckily it was 20Km of easy fire trails.
Can I make a suggestion here ( not criticism) to adventure and dirt riders: If you are heading out to isolated areas grab an EPIRB (you can rent them) or one of the newer SPOT devices which are quite cheap. With a serious accident one of these could save you or your mates life. Press a button and help is on the way.
@marcmlogan I'm glad you've appreciated it. This took a heap of work. It's bloody hard, filming and riding and getting sound and picture composition reasonable. At the end of the day we are adventure riders learning to film. Not like our famous English riders, who were actors learning to ride.
@Fiend2011 I would dearly love to do that. But this year New Zealand then Europe and then 2012 London to Sydney, but I've got it on my list. I would like to do a loint film with Canada's onewheeldrive guy.
Hey, next time tell Phillipe to choose water or grass for falling. On Rocks is no fun, besides whiskey. Hope he's OK now. Good for everyone you shown this part involved in Adventure Riding. Now waiting for Part 5.
Really living into your adventure , when i saw phlippe smile although injured i was relieved and smiled back at my macbook :-) Hope he makes a swift recovery.
Haven't you blokes heard of a Sat Phone ?
