The bell has a tone adjuster. Watch CaptainElevator's video of the Schindler Elevator at the University of Texas Co-Op West. It has a high pitched bell.

The reason why the Dover and Schindler vandal resistant buttons look the same is that it's the Adams Elevator Survivor Plus Button.

Typically the two indicators of same direction are on the lobby, if that's the lowest floor, and I like the green/red color rather than both arrows lighting one color.

Usually there would be a down arrow, but Schindler wanted it to match with the rest.
