Hi i am waiting unpatiently and can you tell me the name of the song and artist name playing on that trailer from 2.09 to 5.50 or something like that i mean the amazing guitar =)
Hi, great stuff we can't wait to hear where it might be available from in the near future. Please note to distribute it through the web in order for us (Dutch) to obtain it. Only one talented young man might have been overlooked; Ian Siegal and his Band. For some reason we feel he is more succesfull outside the UK mainly over in Europe. Please update when dvd can be purchased!
Much as I respect many of the artists featured here, to make a blues video like this without John Whitehill is just about the biggest oversight I could imagine.
Great stuff that a film is being made about the Geordie blues connection. How about including Ashington's one and only Johnny Whitehill - Four times Blues Guitarist of the Year, Come on you know it makes sense, to include this amazing bluesman.
Newcastle's Junco Partners feature in this programme; they started at the same time as the Animals and are still going strong -- we are going to see them again in February! I saw them late '70's as support for Chris Rea (I think), and they brought on an unannounced special guest -- Eric Burdon...he blew the place away, man!
Is this movie out yet?
