the only part of it that is ridiculous is humans jumping out of trees. not so weird for flying squirrels and and monkeys. if the jungle gets too thin that they simply cant jump from tree to tree, they may evolve to glide like flying squirrels, and from gliding, flight is like walking to running.

i wont bring religion into it, i accept evolution as how and not why, so i have no reason to otherwise bring it up. the part with the cells is just accumulation of beneficial traits which had to also have immediate benefit. what you said about instinct tho is what intrigues me. how does a chemical make you behave in such a specific way and not just a state of consciousness. i.e. hungry, drowsy, ect. or information which is just "how it is".many insects hatch knowing how to fly and walk already.

I have owned Angler fish before and all have died. :/ Is it true that Angler fish can not be exposed to the air or intake oxygen bubbles or else they will die??? @KoreanDancingFool erm, maybe you over fed them? feeding more than 2 times a week is over feeding, and you should give them food 50% of their body at most. frogfishes that have accidentily swallowed air can actually burp them out. it could be another problem with your tank rather than just air intake.

Depends on your terminology. Only the scientific names are "correct". There is another totally different type of fish that is referred to as a frogfish, but many ichthyologists refer to these anglerfish as frogfish and certainly in the areas where I have dived, most divers call these frogfish rather than anglerfish.

The angler fish that i know about have what looks to be a real fishing pole on top of their head with what looks like a fly or piece of bait attached to it.Maybe it is a different kind.The deep sea version has the fishing pole and 3 or 4 inch long teeth and are very FAST.They also light up.Un believable. I just ate some last week.They call them monkfish in NY and they kinda have a lobster undertone.Actually very good.Bon Appetite!
