Watching your great dog I see mine, your dog seems a mix between Conny and Tito...When Conny died she was 13 and a half year, she gave me a lot in her life, she saved me 5 times...Thanx for your video!!! Beautiful Rottie. You got to love big dogs! I don't think you may realize what a 160lb Dog looks like. He's not 160lbs and that's a very, very good thing! Before my last Rottie got diabetes, he weighed 143lbs at 3.5 years old. Even with diabeties, he fluctuated in the lower 120lbs range and people at the park used to ask me if he was 200lbs. I would chuckle and say "no, not even close". Enjoy your beautiful Rottie!

My reg. rottie turned a year old today, she is 100 pounds and protective as well in shutzund and has a nice bite, never uses it though unless in working in bite work... ( getting a reg male in may cant wait) I would never ask for anything more. This breed is indeed the strongest yet never uses its powerfulness on those she loves, shes lovable, gentle and not a mean bone. I love rottweilers!

@knightmadz totally depends on the dog and their breeding lines. My first Rottie would protect me in a heartbeat. He was really good at sensing my emotions too. My second Rottie was much bigger and more intimidating looking but the biggest wimp even. My wifes boss came over and he ran behind me and peed a little. My new dog is a 4 month old Dogue. I will be able to tell you a year from now how protective he is but still I can't assume every Dogue will be like mine.
