  • saying you guys are strong and have good lifts is like saying the color red is red.. your animals

  • music was awesome and so was the lifting! wookie make another video where you at man?!

  • @BarbellOnly Hey mate, yeah I've got a few vids on here. There will be more. I'm about 4 months back into a comeback after taking over a year off to heal a shoulder injury and do some BJJ. I'm 24 now, and after not much training already had my front squat up to 600ish, raw squat over 700, and powercleaning 375 for reps. New vids soon. Thanks for the support.

  • I had to stop watching because of the music.

  • @sspainhour15 You're welcome to mute the sound.

  • The first guy had amazingly great form for deadlift but the other guy had good form but is going to hurt his back if he deadlifts like he did on his second

  • dude!!! a double overhand grip on a dealift over 600?! ive never seen that.

  • Nice, conventional, deadlifts.

  • double overhand, nice grip strength!

  • Music is epic

  • awesome lifting wookie!! what song is this???

  • @ohbabycarpediem

Hi, thank you! Was a while ago, but glad people like this. The song is called Nessun Dorma, sung by Luciano Pavarotti. I'm a fan.

  • I love this video. It always makes me want to go workout.

  • powerlifters are idiots,no core strength, holymoly u wudnt be able 2 do 10 chinups,ud be strugglin and im too heavey isnt an excuse,

  • @thingymajig11 Do you realize how silly 10 pull-ups is compared to a 660lb squat? Besides I bet these guys could still do 10 pull-ups sooo…

  • @teamjinsoku big difference between powerliftin and strenght/bodybuildin.theryre too heavey and aukward, they wudnt be able to lift their own weight, none of them wud be able to do 10 full chinups.any1 can wack on a real heavey weight and do it 4 times, lower the weight and ask them to do 4 sets of 10 to 15,and see how they get on, thats strenght!! i can do chinups 1 handed, other hand behind my back.ive trainned with the best, trainners who train trainners.them lads are fat,no core strenght.

  • @thingymajig11 first of all your an idiot for thinking 3x10-15 is strength. thats leaning towards endurance brotha and thats cold hard fact. next if you think dead lifting and squatting two to three times your own body weight doesn't take core strength then you are an even bigger idiot. the fact of the matter is it would be much easier for these guys to do ten pull-ups than it would be for you to squat 600lbs so I would just shut up.

  • @teamjinsoku ofcourse its strenght, where u goin with ur endurance? endurance is strenght ya plank, none of them wud be able 2 do 10 proper full chinups, to big aukward n heavey, none of em wud be able to lift their own body weight 10 times or more, ur obviously about 20 stone or more that doesnt do chinups, wonder y? so u shut it!!

  • @teamjinsoku just been lookin at u on monkeybars, lol, n im not ur brotha ya cockney monkey, ive and nchs qualification, level 2, personal trainner,ur a know all that knows fuk all, so go back 2 ur street railings and hang from them like the monkey u are.loser!

  • @thingymajig11 ya and you have some cute music on yours. kinda 80's gay bar techno. the fact of the matter is im right and your wrong. and im a personal trainer too big whoop.

  • @teamjinsoku personal trainner on monkey bars? well u sure dont look it, ,run along now n play on ur railingsin ur council complex.uve no qualification at all on this matter, so dont waste ma time, unless u want to pay me,:),mate.i train personal trainers and worked with big names in germany,do wat u do, and ill do wat i do,monkey man

  • @thingymajig11 with all your gay ass techno vids i have a hard time believing guys pay you for anything other than bjs. not to mention you clearly don't even know the difference between myofibrilar and sarcoplasmic hypertrophy. at the end of the day i guess your right. you can lift light weights and listen to gay music and ill lift heavy ones and be more athletic than you.... haha monkey man i like that.

  • @teamjinsoku keep talkin. your making a fool out yourself, your just a plank that likes to disagree.ok you know everything, now growup ya lil chav,go listen to your dizzy rascal cds.ya lil muppet!im done tlkin to you,shu fly shu

  • @teamjinsoku that u on the monkey bars? wow...ur awesome lol,

  • @thingymajig11 both deadlifts and squats develop the core, therefore they have core strength.

  • Yep just gotta say it, you're squatting form was pretty bad best sort that out or your gonna fuck yourself up. Pretty strong lad though well done

  • damn...strong!

  • Excellent video, but LOUSY music. Powerlifting goes with hard rock, NOT opera

  • @fuimas Hes what you call a limp wrist

  • @fuimas Thank you. Something to understand about me, is that all my videos generally have "weird" or eccentric music. Just the way I am.

  • I like the overhand grip on the second guy.

  • This music came from DoubleClef FM

  • wtf is this the Godfather music... that gets you pumped ha?

  • Actually the music is very appropriate, the lyrics say something about overcoming great odds to succeed. Very original...

  • Some massive lifts there guys. Great power! Inspired me this morning to gut out yet another workout. Thanks.

  • Good to see big man using an overhand grip on the dead lifts !

  • very impressive! just one question, dosnt it hurt your back when doing squats? im just starting to do them and when i do the bar realey digs into my shoulders/back and it is quite unpleasnt

  • @jackmaggotdude

Late reply, but yes, at the start they did. But you get used to it!

  • @jackmaggotdude Keeping your heap up helps with this. That's part of what wookie is referring to when he mentions bad form. He made the lift using raw strength to overcome the form problem. The arched back allows all the energy to transfer to the lift. Bad form multiplies the leverage the bar exerts on you and overcoming this is the key to getting good lifts.

  • wow im only 160lb i bench 200 and squat 300 and dead lift 350. i just started working out 7 months ago. my bench started at 135 my squat started at 175 and my dead lift started at 210 and i weighed only 140. but i still need to get stronger for my wieght class.

  • @mjmj6776 Yeah, a lot stronger.

  • yeah hardcore bro.and the music is fucking epic.its probably not pavarotti its prob jose carreras singing.the piece is nessun dorma by puccini.elite music for elite people doing elite things.if u dont like the music youre a whores cunt rag.keep smashing it lads!!!!!!!!!!

  • @liebestandarte88

Haha, thanks man. Yes, it's actually Pavarotti and Carreras. Only so many guys can handle hardcore metal all the time.

  • fucking awesome! except the music.

  • looks like fun

  • nice lifts...but the music?? seriously?? doesn't do the video justice boys.

  • you gota be kidding me with the double overhand grip jeezus

  • wow u guys do that like its light weight lol

  • nice

  • i actually thought i was doing well @ 20 years with 200 squat but the 21 year old dude is a monster, he is about double my weight though, not for long hopefully lol.

  • @lolatshane dude 200 squat for a freshman in highschool is fail....even more fail that youre 20

  • Well, 200kg @ 78kg BW ass to the grass was good for me, i won a junior comp with it at 19 so it can't be that bad.. :s

  • Great lifts guys. And oddly enough the music went very well with the video.

And those of you that are disrespectful to Mr. Norris I would caution you. Even a recording of him on video can kill you.

  • love the intense music

  • Luciano Pavarotti is the best.

  • wow that weaver guy is really impressive.....well there both impressive but weaver is only 113kg n fer the amount he's liftin its really impressive

  • wow the music really ruined this for me

  • who is chuck norris???

  • who's the old guy?

    how old he is?

  • hey what supplements do you guys take?

  • @thedoublecheeziest

Late reply, but Creatine and protein powder. Keep it simple.

  • convential deadlift with an overhand gripo and no wrist straps.....love it.

  • All that working out, and he still looks fat. Lol

  • very ignorant.

  • hez a powerlifter not a bodybuilder these alot of difference

  • I need to lean up a bit. Fact remains that I'm alot stronger weighing 325lbs than I would be at a much leaner 280.

  • @firdaus125 loll

  • @firdaus125 I guess a Clydesdale workhorse would, standing next to a bunny rabbit. I'd rather be a workhorse

  • love the music. nice lifting.

  • very good lifting, what country you from?

  • New Zealand, in the city of Auckland. Thanks.

  • Hey Wookie, don't drop so fast at the bottom of the squat. Sure, bounce into the wraps but try making it more controlled. That's the only bad form I could spot. That's still an awesome lift in a soft suit.

  • Sure thing Jim, I've been working on that.

  • I don't mean to be a hater, I know you guys love what you do, but coming from a bodybuilding background maybe you should diet and do some cardio so as to look more balanced?

  • Nope.

  • @firdaus125

Your comment has to be the dumbest comment I've seen on youtube. If you truly come from a bodybuilding background, you should know that powerlifting workouts focus on strength and not on looking like some steroid monster.

  • Nice hardcore gym...kinda made me weep

  • It's beautiful in it's simplicity.

  • your form wasn't bad at all on the second squat, that's how it looks at maximal attempts. to compare, your first squat had nearly perfect form.

  • Thanks.

  • nice deadlifts!

  • nothing is good until chuck give his ok

  • Marlon, I would suggest using lower reps for strength, 1-6. Perhaps for the next month, do 5 sets of 5 reps on everything, each exrercise 1-2x a week. Start of using maybe 80kg for 5's, then 90. 100 and 110. After that repeat with 3x3 instead of 5x5. Go well.

  • Comment removed

  • I can definitely do that. What if I can do more them 5 reps. Should I increase the weights or stop at five? About how many exercises per muscle group?

What you mean by 3x3 and 5x5?

    Thank you

    Marlon

  • No, you just do 5 reps, and the next week go heavier. 3x3 is 3 sets of 3, 5x5 is 5 sets of 5. Just focus on the main ones, bench, squat, deadlift, and then pick your own assistance, maybe do sets of 8 in lat pull downs, curls etc.

  • Awesome video. Great lifting with some style at the end. Well done!

  • Man, Pavarotti is awesome

  • very nice, you are very strong =)

  • Awesome Double Over Deads.

  • I thought I saw Gordon and Clary in the background.. was that Phil Tom as well ?

Great lifting Guys... keep workin on the form bro, 'O' for Oarsome.... big weights don't move gracefully.. u gotta have the balls to load the bar in the first place.

Not a big Chuck Norris fan but this time I'm with him.

  • Great job! Is that Potts in the background music?

  • awesome, 300 kg raw squat is increadible strength for any sized athlete

  • 300kg raw squat.. wow very impressive.
