The manufacturing and companies stay the same.... so basically VW just gets the profits the rest is the same.... personally i'd go for the r8 spyder but if your an avid lamborghini fan then thats a different story but i've driven the r8 and turbo and the r8 handles way better than the turbo surprisingly (considering im a porsche fan) i've been bowled and won over by after this car.
as much as I hate almost all convertibles, I must say this isn't half bad, it looks thought through, not just the old R8 minus the roof...
however I still think it'd be a waste to buy this over the coupe... takes away from the performance, which is what this car is...
