It was really nice to follow this conversation. Well, i think everyone has a theory about what makes sense in our lives and everyone has his/her own little truth, but there's really only one truth that we have to get closer to every day somehow. See the values of the old scythians as they were the most truthful nation of the ancient times. They believed in god, they knew they have a blessed society without any quarrels and major conflicts. Humans have to turn their attention to real values.
I'm not hiding anything, of course I love Stephan, he's awesome! It's rare to encounter people like him, who actually search for what they believe in. Who have enough courage to openly discuss their thoughts, who are not afraid to be themselves.
I would like to know what your definition for crush is... cause that is important
Great interview! You both really made some interesting points. I'm more of a spiritual person myself, rather than religious, but I'm with you - I'm always definitely open to looking into other beliefs and doing some research. It's always so interesting to learn about all the different viewpoints in the world. :)
That is very hard to answer. If you would have asked me that 2 years ago, I would have said no with all my heart and mind. Now, it's a different story. Answering your question with yes, doesn't seem right yet, but No isn't correct. I guess I am first of all trying to figure out what 'believing' means to me.
And if it is about the origin of the earth, now, I believe in the uncerainty of it, that I don't know. But I am having a blast learning about the different points of view.
And "searching for the truth" because I know that I might not be able to find the real answer to the question of origin of the earth, but I know/believe that I will find THE answer that I need to find.
You asked this a long time ago and now, I can give you a complete answer. I KNOW now that I believe in God. It took me a long time to search, but I found my answer :-)
I think we're loosing the whole point of the interview here.
It's ok if you have a cheerful personality, but we're not discussing that. We're not trying to make you feel bad, we're not forcing you to change. So please, do not try to change our personality neither, THAT'S NOT THE POINT.
(besides, we also feel happiness sometimes like every human being, but again: we weren't talking about ourselves. We are talking about a serious subject, that's why we are serious. We put our serious face on)
You hear about of the problems in the world, the poison in our food and the overwhelming power the media and TV have, but it doesn't looks like you are aware of that.
The criticism given to positive thinking (which is not a clear concept) is not about the happiness, it's about the awareness.
I'm sorry, but some people is not aware of how the world works. I think everybody should be able to see the whole picture. Not only the bright parts but also the the dark ones.
I agree 100% and it is hard for me to bring this accross (apparently) one of the most important things is that people become aware of what is happening with food, medication,... ignorance is never good!
True, the point is making people aware, but, I would like to see people take matters in their own hands and actually work with the facts, as they are, and build a better world with that knowledge. Does that mean I want people to change? Depends on the person of course. It is their choice.
Hello from Norway, -nicenice, Brigitte,i seen a couple of interviews with stephan and pitchfork, -u seem always so positive and happy ,no matter how dark or depressive other peoples visions is, u still shining, its like a halo or glow around you, -continue to be like that :) u kick ass:) Thinking to much, or worriyng to much , or seeing the truth and all that,-to much, -i think that has a ripple effect, that spreads like a virus to our children too. A disiease that eat us from the inside.
We ofcoz need to find ways to help people in the third world ,but being positive is everything. Some say positiveness is naive. So what? We know absolutely nothing about anything, so the best thing is to be nice and positive and loving. Thats more important ripples to be spread around us. We dont have any answers.
If every president, politician, king , or your neighbour etc could live by two words "Be nice", then world would change. We dont need a politician or president to do difficult speeches about how to solve this and that.
The solution lies in a little child. Follow a little childs simple ideology, and world will turn into heaven.
It is very interesting that I come accross like that because I would not consider myself a positve person, at least not positive as a result, but more positive as a choice. And I do think that one of the most important things is to actually search for the truth, but the whole truth and also a detailed truth, it is very difficult to explain in writing.
My mind never shuts of (which makes it hard to sleep) but I don't want it to shut off. I want to understand why things happen,
Why human beings react in a certain way, why moraility has been defined like it is... but STP seems to have a point of view more focussed on a global level and for me, I focus more on the human itself.
The reason that I am positive is that I see people 'waking up' and also asking why. I see people regaining respect for each other and actually caring. The world does not revolve around money and for me that is waking up, realizing that there is something a lot more valuable out there.
My 'positivity' although like any person, I am also balanced, so I have times of negativity... but my positivity is a choice, a statement to say to people, I believe in you that we can actually CHANGE this world for the better. It's not easy, I don't live in a perfect world, I have experienced first hand the mal practice of the medical industry, the blindness of the government and I am sure that will happen again in the future. But I believe that as a person, we can make a change.
Yes, and I'm working hard too to make a change for the better. :) But here in Hungary is a hard work..:( The situation here is really bad...:( I don't know really, what can we do? The freedom here is not exist really. We can do that the government says...and if we don't like it, we can move another country...:(
those of us who do care feel so small and the press makes a mockery of our tea party effort, force people to think we are a joke. we are not all right wing "loonies" they say we are. we are Americans who believe the government should stop invading our lives, and leave us and the rest of the world alone, to make our own choices. I am only 19 and I'm worried if i will be punished for being successful. I hope things change but not the way Obama and george soros want it to. no one world government
It's not easy, there are a lot of obstacles to overcome. I have chosen to believe that change is possible, because that is the first step to really make a change and show that I also believe in others who want to make a change, but it is a constant battle of reminding yourself that it IS possible. Next step, is just taking down obstacles one by one. If the press is a problem, think of ways to overcome that, ... it's breaking down problems into smaller problems which can be solved.
here in America people are happy not knowing how business is done, what they eat or how it is prepared. we are lazy and as long as some one does it for us we dont care.
And this is horrible! thats how this mess began.
corporations own the government,
the government owns us.
we dont own anything they cant regulate. "freedom" is not here. we are wage slaves.
In general, that seems to be an impression that we get, but there are individuals that do care, like you have also just proven. Once that exists, change is possible, how tiny that might be in the beginning. And even in the companies and governments, if you see it as a generalization, I agree it can seem that way, but I have met individuals who are not like that, and once they care enough to make a change, I believe, that WILL happen. What do you think?

So, we talk about those facts, we share our ideas with you.
The facts are not good or bad, they just ARE. Just like an animal that is not good or bad, it just exists and makes our existence richer.
And that animal can be beautiful or fierce and dangerous. By knowing what is dangerous we can figure out solutions to make our lives better.
That's why ignorance is not strength.
