  • Hey Nutn where do you shop for your AR accessories?

  • Do you Americans realise how lucky you are to be able to do this?! I'm sure you probably do!!

Don't let your government take it away from you!!!!

I can get an ar-15 in single pull.. but it's just not the same!! :(

  • Just the MagPul add-ons though....

  • That is going to be my set up very soon on my S&W M&P-15 except in ODG and a Feniz TK12 on the bottom rail. I love that you can put rails where you need them on that hand guard.

  • Hey cool video! Excellent trigger control !

  • Ive seen you shoot alot of guns, ever look at Daniel Defense?

  • Is there a tabletop review of the Bushmaster AR-15?

  • when you put a single point sling attachment point on do you scrap your old end plate?

  • If anyone knows the gun laws in Maryland, please help me out here. I'm 19 years old, I've already bought a remington 12 gauge. I want to get into competition shooting, so I was really trying to get my hands on an AR15 type rifle. I've heard alot of different things like you gotta be 21 to purchase it. However, I've heard if its an HBAR, its legal for 18 years or older to buy. I need to know if thats true before I get my hopes up. If there is a .22 version that would be great. $ is tight. Thanks.

  • @DudeMyNameIsSteve As far as I know, it should be legal for you. I live in Pennsylvania, actually right on the border of Maryland, 10 minutes from the line. Depending on where you live, it might be an issue, for example, if you live in Baltimore it might be an issue. The best option would be to go to a gun shop, or even your local police station, as they would be able to tell, you, but as long as it's not a class 3, you should be ok to buy it at 19. I'm 19 as well, and looking at buy one as well

  • is the reliability good?

  • how is the reliability for the bushmaster?

  • how is the reliability for the bushmaster?

  • Hey Nutn, quick question: I've heard and read in an article that gripping a non free-float handguard can mess with the harmonics on the barrel therefore decreasing accuracy out to extended ranges (500m and beyond). Instead they were saying to grip the front of the mag well while resting the rifle on the magazine (in prone).

This was an article on Squad Designated Marksman in Iraq since their M16's do not have free float handguards.

Id like to know what ya think cause I instinctively do thisnow

  • I'm just wondering but does Nutn hunt at all, if you don't mind me asking?

  • @Tux3d0 He and Dad used to hunt (years and years back), but now, he says he'd rather watch the wildlife than kill it. -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy Id rather eat wildlife than watch it or kill it. (Although, its hard to eat the wildlife without the killing part, sadly.) Lol

  • @nutnfancy I think some of it has to do with Dad bein' gone too. It used to be a thing they did together. Plus he knows that I'd have a fit. -- Veri

  • Nut'n! I have enjoyed your posts so much my man! Your reviews are very well focused and so informative. My Bushmaster needs a Duracoat but I'm just stuck on black after 10 yrs., 5000+ rnds and no problems! BTW I bought the Ruger LCP on your rec & decked it out with Crimson Laser and LOVE shooting it. You are so right about concealed carry small arms having no sights & Laser is the Bomb! Appreciate you so much..TNP fan!!!!..Dr. Dave

  • is this AR-15 reliable and accurate as the US military M4's??

  • should i buy pmags or should i get DnH green followers. i love the metal look and it is price cheaper in bulk. but i do understand that pmags are the best out there. anyone have any opinion they can share with me?

  • what are the sights on that gun?

  • Hey Nutn, What do you know about the bushmaster patrolman? I've been hunting for an AR and I'm considering this model. Is it a quality weapon for the price?

Keep up the great vids man.

  • I have been staring at the duracoat website for a WEEK and couldnt decide what color , driving me a little crazy. So this IS Magpul Flat Dark Earth ? Its perfect exactly what ive been looking for

  • Is this the same ol' TNP gun that Nutn uses his CMMG .22 conversion on? If it is, it came a long way. :)

  • What does TNP stand for, i'm sorry i know i sound like an idiot but please.

  • @falloutmaniac13 You don't sound like an idiot at all, you just sound like you're new. =) TNP = The Nutnfancy Project. -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • @nutnfancy Thank you for your help :)

  • Hello nutnfancy and all,

I love the video thank you! I have a question and hope this is an OK place to ask it. Wondering for myself (much firearm experience) and I'd assume many others expecting a decent tax return... If you had around $1,000 to spend on a 5.56x45/.223 platform (just the gun as it comes from the manufacturer no mods yet) what would you shoot for?

  • @colorsoluble DD XV carbine, best deal for the money, or a BCM 16". i have a bushy, not much bushy left now just stripped receivers all the rest has been changed to better parts including the barrel. save some time and money and buy a DD or BCM right away

  • Nutnfancy what do you think of the bushmaster A3 rifle with the full 20" barrel and the and A2 stock. please tell me what you think.

  • I had a hard time with my Bushy XM15 when I ran Wolf. This was years ago though, maybe the product has been improved

  • I love that butt-stock!

  • Just bought one of these yesterday

  • Please do a Smith and wesson M&P15 review

  • Any chance of an m1 carbine going into the tnp for testing? I was just wondering....

  • hmmm..i wonder if i'm blocked? I never see nutnfancy vids appear on my subs list anymore. i've missed 2 weeks of vids lol.

  • @808Arsenal Dont worry bro, doubt you blocked cause your not the only one not to have Nutn's vids not show up. Nutn's vid hardly eva show up in my sub list i normaly just go straight his page to see if there are new vids. =]

  • @808Arsenal You blocked? NO! We're hearing from a lot of people that the vids aren't going to sub lists right now. I guess its just a YT glitch, but you could trying unsubbing and then re-subbing..other than that..dunno. -- Veri

  • nutn..always wondered why i don't really see pmags in TNP?

  • I noticed the annotation @ 2:05 about the MOE handguard being too wide for your liking. I was considering it as an option until that comment. I don't like the standard handguard because it is too wide. What alternatives would you recommend for a RRA LAR15 Standard A4? If you could point me in a direction I would appreciate it.

Thanks for all the great videos Nutn (&Crew).

  • love my xm15

  • this gun is amazing i love my bushy

  • whats up brother in arms, i live in las vegas and been here since i left the army a year and a half ago. i just subscribed and have been watching the hell out of the vids you have. sadly to say i have no freinds that like to go out and shoot around like you do. i would like to come up and run some drills with you. it has been a while and would like to stay sharp. let me know.

  • Freakin love duracoat

  • that is a beautiful gun

  • So jealous of the duracoat...

  • What state is this in??

  • @Tux3d0 It's in Idaho... lol.

  • There is a message in the intro that states: that the snapshot vid is a nutn original concept. I just want to say that short clips of people shooting guns is nothing new on youtube, and I don't know why TNP has to claim it as an original concept. Just a little annoying watching TNP evolve into this "Youtube Corporation" (<--IG original concept) in which it needs to claim these things. I am a big TNP fan, so please to don't piss on me. Enjoyed the vid.

  • @IndianaGeologist reply was coming til i read the last line ha =]

  • I salivate everytime, I see that sweet weapon(or other Nutnfancy creation ARs). It is a beautiful thing. It seems like a fairly stripped down gun at first glance, but then if you know what you are looking at...you like "Man...there are a lot of improvements in this thing....and it is lightweight to boot." The duracoat looks good in that environment also. Coyote tan is it?

  • Duracoat is so pointless, just makes it look like an airsoft gun

  • What front iron sight is that? Is this the bushmaster O.R.C. model with added folding sight?

  • Did you see the fly that went for a recoil ride @ 3:36 in?

  • oh the good ole days when the vids were 10 mins. :)

  • Like the format for this video. Don't get me wrong; I enjoy your detailed reviews too....but sometimes a "quickie" is a good thing. lol

  • Anybody got anything to say about Del-Ton Inc.? considering grabing one; they are on the cheap but apear to be top American craftmenship. Anybody?

  • Hey nutn or veri for that matter, Have you ever tried the magpul afg? just wondering what you thought about it I was thinking about getting the m.o.e kit that is on this rifle in this vid and ordering some of their stuff along with it. Just wondering what you thought about their stuff.

  • a 4 min TNP video???? i'll have to watch it 10x or i wont feel right :)

  • sadlymissing is awesome

  • Nice field video for the AR-15. Was it that hard for your fellow firing partner to see the targets? Also noticed that you were wearing the paracord bracelet, Nice.

  • I like the magpul color's lack of gloss. Duracoat in matte black is too shiny for me. I like the "tactical black" the best so far, very dull. How would you compare them?

  • I clicked on this video and I saw this rifle, and to be quite honest... well err I...

    I jizzed in my pants.

  • Some poor rabbit thought that Red Dawn had become a reality!

  • @jnazari HA Red Dawn, thats a classic movie, i'm go'n to have to watch it now

  • @TheDishD WOLVERINES!!!!!!!!

  • @brotherskeepers111 i'll always rember to para drop in the high school.. one cool movie bro =]

  • @TheDishD Yes sir, one of my favorites, I was in high school when this classic came out

  • Youtube is weird sometimes like that I just got the vid nod today. - schmoo -

  • liking that echo ^^

  • So were .22 cal bullets used for this gun?

  • @Dark1Masta technically, yes.

  • @Dark1Masta not 22.LR....... 223!

  • @dirtysanchez2k thanks DS i was just about reply to him myself .... how can you not tell its hi-pwer .223?

  • Same as the others. I just barely was notified of this video. Also for about two days I wasn't receiving pm's from TheGearJunkies! What's up with that? Anyway I think the gun is awesome. Maybe some day LadyLobo will give me the green light on one:)

  • @SnowLobo95 Yer im having the same issues with YT atm grr.. keep making breaky in bed and doing the washing up Snowy and your lovely better half MIght just let you, as long as she gets to shoot it too i bet! =],

  • Also, this just showed up in my subscription box. YouTube needs to fix that.

  • Great video format! I like getting vids often and this gets the info out without too much work on your part. Keep up the great work!

  • @nutnfancy I have the same ear protection (howard leight impact sport) and I'm new to shooting. To me they don't really seem to muffle the shots much. My buddy has a less expensive set of hearing protection and shots (when wearing his) are significantly more muffled. How high do you have the adjustment knob set? When I turn it up it just seems to amplify sounds.

  • The “tink” of bullet hitting metal is the most satisfying sound in the world!

  • The “tink” of bullet hitting metal is the most satisfying sound in the world!

  • How do like the bushmaster compared to other AR variants?

  • @Nutn If we wanted Sadly to do a job will he bead blast all metal surfaces before painting? How many coats?Do I have to have my FFL send it to him or can I mail it myself?Should you remove any internals before sending? And last but not least Duracoat is awesome! I did my Glock myself but I rather pay to make sure it's done right, prepping to finish it right takes time, and you definitely need a compressor and a good airbrush do do a decent job that will last.Have SADLY do it ! Its worth it.

  • @dirtysanchez2k Dirty, sorry I missed this, and I have some answers for you. Yes, they bead blast and they ONLY put enough coats of duracoat on to do the job..its a mistake to lather that stuff on because I can get soft with too many coats. No, you don't have to remove the internals, but you can if you want. In fact, you can ship just the parts that you want duracoated and just use the USPS.. If you ship the weap complete, you should use a carrier service.

  • @Verilioness Lol do we need a vid after that explaination Veri ;p ha jokes cant wait for the vid onit.

  • @TheDishD Haha, true Dishy! I wanna see the video too, big time. I'm thinking about having Sadly make my Glock 17 gorgeous. Hubby says no to pink..lol..but other than that, I can choose any color or pattern. I love some of those patterns and the hard part is picking one and sticking to it. ;)

  • @Verilioness dont tell him, but most desert style camo has a shade of pink init, hehe, Glock17 one of my fav's, nice choice Veri

  • @dirtysanchez2k Also, Nutn said to tell you that he's working on a video right now, and he'll try to answer questions..plus show some cool patterns and colors.

  • LOVE the new video format. Excellent addition to your repitoir.

  • Slow is smooth and smooth is fast.

  • Oh to add to what I said earlier, I think Im just used to hearing handguns, and 22's thats why.Its nice to hear big dogs.I want some AK action. And I really want to see the shotgun in the trench.Thats what its perfect for.Just like WW1.Germany said it was not fair to use it in war?BECAUSE IT WAS SO DEVASTATING The shotgun is the best trench gun around.BOOM STICK.

  • @dirtysanchez2k Roger that, in close quarters house to house, my squad tooled up with normal load out plus 870 shotties, those thing are sweet as!

  • I think one of the most overlooked and well made AR-15's (because everyone these days is focused on tactical carbines) is the Bushmaster 20" heavy barrel Target / Competition Models. I'd like to get one of these and try out some distance shooting.

  • Comment removed

  • Awesome and informative, and probably a lot easier to produce than one of those long vids....Thanks again nutn for bringing the facts.

    Peace

  • I listen to vids through some quality headphones and the sound from this vid just rocks.I love the sound of the 5.56 round when it bounces of the surrounding area. The mic on that camera is F-ing awesome.Listen to it hit the steel at a 100 yrds it sounds like its 10' away! I think the firing of a rifle is music!~ Seriously. If like that shit you know what I mean.TURN UP YOUR VOLUME AND LISTEN TO NUTNFANCY 556 symphony.Word

  • @dirtysanchez2k You "hit" it on the head brother, i too use quality headset and i love to crank the Vol, i love the sound of semi-auto "big guns!" ( cause we cant have them here ;[ ) and yes that Mic kicks arse!

  • 4:16 another is sitting your butt on the floor while kkeping your knees bended up. So you fasten your left forearm through your left shin holding the riffle. You get a strong hold there

  • Cool concept. Sparks a keen interest and anticipation for reviews and gun runs. Thanks for posting and for the info on duracoating.

  • "TNP: The SNAPSHOT video" cool idea and really works well. - FD

  • Hahaha yeah reviewing the ACR would be cool. I love its concept of modularity on field.

  • One of the nicest colors on an AR I've seen, but due to my location an AK shooting a 7.62x39 is a more logical weapon to have for defensive/offensive uses. I 2nd the stag arms review request

  • Anyone know anything about Stag Arms? My BX has a flat top M-4 I was thinking of getting. Nutn if you have any inputs that would be great!

  • @MattFoJoe Hey brother, I own the model 2L Stag, the left handed version, its an excellent rifle, I highly recommend it

  • Anyone know anything about the Stag Arms M-4? They got a flat top at my BX i was thinking of picking up. Nutn, if you could review these guys or have any inputs it would be great!

  • Hey Nutn I am just wondering, would you be doing a review on Bushmaster ACR and FN SCAR-H?

  • Love both of my bushy's too! Never had any issues with mine. I hit 9 out of 10 shots on a 10' plate at 200 on my last R and G, they are great weapons!

  • Nutn whats your opinion on Leupold scopes?

  • if its such a good gun why all the mods. see that tree with the branch. next to the grass with the blades. right there dude.lol yknow its a long shot when youre looking for the target. 100 percent reliability is a great achievement in a gun.

  • Add SKS review to the list as well :D

  • Nice shootin, I've had my bushy xm15 for 3 years now, many many rounds through it and not a single issue. Great weapon, great vid.

  • Man, I really want an AR-15. I need a gun safe first however...

I'm not sure on what your views on Midlength AR-15s are, but I think I'm going to grab one.

  • looks like fun!

  • Good video!

  • looks good would love to see what other various colors they could do

  • Your videos are fantastic. Professional and to the point. You did a couple of videos on survival skills and concealed carry. I was wondering if you could give some tips on one man room entry. This is obviously an extreme situation, because you should always enter a room with more than one person, but I am curious as to what you think is the best approach. If a comment will cover this question that is fine too. It is merely out of curiosity. Thanks.

  • two words nutn bad and ass put them together and you got TNP FOR LIFE lol

  • Love the snapshot idea Nutnfancy! Much easier for me to get familiar with a product in a 5 minute video than the longer 45 minute vids. Keep these coming! Thanks for adapting your presentation style!

  • Cool short vid. But let's be honest, is this truly a "TNP original concept?" It's an annotated shooting video.. maybe something new for TNP, but there are plenty videos out there like this. It seems to be a quicker way to spotlight a product, but kinda cutting it short as it's not really telling me about any "reliability and effective range" I wouldn't mind if a follow up video was in addition to actually explain it, but for me looks like over-marketed raw footage.

  • @StormForceTac He is just giving us little tastes until he can put together full reviews. He does that quite often. He doesn't normally devote a whole video to it, but he often references upcoming reviews all the time.

  • @iMagUdspEllr That is true, but I've never seen a video devoted to showing an upcoming review, he usually references them in other videos.

  • RAWR, WHY DIDNT THIS VIDEO SHOW UP IN MY SUB BOX, DARN YOU YOUTUBE, and also, i quite like this "Snapshot" video, its a great idea for those less patient youtubers out there.

  • how bout that vltor handguard? eh :)

  • cool video

  • I don't know if you switched cameras or you switched shooting locations, but your gunshots sound much better on this video.

  • hey, i havent seen anything about 17.cal HMR's in your video's. Just curious to hear the official Nutnfancy review on some range capability of 17.cal's, and i was thinking maybe you should try making your own ballistic gel and add a segment in your weapon review videos of different ammunition and their capabilities. that would be an AWESOME addition to these greatly detailed vids. keep up the great work man!

  • I feel sorry for that poor rabbit. hehehehe

  • I noticed your selling the SR556, is it just gathering dust or did you not like something about it

  • From all you TNPers out there, Should I go with a tactical .22? Or should I go with something like this bushmaster?

I know the Tactical .22 (S&W M&P 15-22 is my first choice on a tactical .22) is easy on the wallet, but I won't be shooting as much as Nutn' does, not near as much.

    I'm not sure.

    Thanks guys.

  • @eggmaster40 Two different animals. If you're just going to the shooting range I would go centerfire. It's more accurate and .22 gets boring when you're just shooting paper.

If you're going to run around and shoot in open places the .22 makes sense because you're not paying $10+ per mag in ammo costs.

I just get so bored when I'm shooting more accurately than my rifle, and you eventually will with the .22. That is, unless your "running and gunning", that'dbe pretty freakin hard to do...

  • @eggmaster40 that realy depends on ur POU for ur firearms bro, for cheap training, possiable survial gun and fun go the .22, for HomeDefence or WROL id go the .223, just my 2 cents worth bro.

  • @eggmaster40 my $.02 is if you can only get 1, get an AR-15. But if money isn't a huge issue, get both.

  • Cool video I like the way this works. Man dura-coat is top notch great job.

  • Just ordered the FDE MOE futniture kit for my secondary AR last night. Black gets so blah so I'll give the FDE a try. Also, one thing I like about EOTechs are the 1 MOA center dot. Can shoot stationary clay pigeons at 100 yards and steel etc at 200 with a good rest.

  • Dura-Coat on that Bushi look's fantastic!!

  • This is the same gun I got a year and a half ago, no regrets at all, great rifle, gonna do some heavier load testing tomorrow...

  • Title of this video should be "AR-15 Porn"

  • whatcha think of spikes tactical or armalite?

  • @migkillertwo Spike's is killer. I got their upper on sale for $425 and it's seen over 3k flawless rounds. 1-3moa with iron sights, I'm sure the weak link is my shooting, not the gun.

I have never heard anything bad about Armalite. Why limit to those though? Check Bravo Company (BCM), LaRue, Noveske, the list goes on. ar15(dot)com has excellent forums.

  • Sadlymissings camo does blend in well, love his comments about the rabbit..!

  • I don't suppose someone could link me to the Arsenal Factory tour vid Nutn did, can they? I can't find it :(

  • @TheRacerRich Not sure on a factory tour, he did do the SHOT show booth with Arsenal, go to Nutn's page and look in his playlist its still there, hope that helps.

  • @TheRacerRich They deleted the Las Vegas hotel vid, I bet it's gone. I want to know why.... something must have gone south.

Maybe the company they were comparing the Arsenal to got mad cuz their rifle looked stupid?

  • @FLATblacktical Awww :( I remember it had good info on ammo recommendations and I just bought my first 7.62x39 (Mini-30 Tactical)

  • @TheRacerRich I've found that each gun is different with ammo accuracy. Even the same make/model will be different from others. But dispite that, Tiger is by FAR the best 7.62x39 in my Arsenal SGL-21. I've tried about 5-7 brands and it's rockin. Give that a try.

Sweet gun by the way! I'd like one of those.

  • @FLATblacktical If you're interested in them, I'll note that despite what the Ruger website shows, Ruger told me all Mini-30s will be getting the thicker barrel, not just the tactical.

  • @TheRacerRich That's good to hear. The only problem I have with the mini-14/30s is accuracy. How's yours been?

  • @FLATblacktical - I may have jumped the gun when I say I got it. What I mean is my dealer ordered it for me, so I don't know yet. That said, a friend of mine has one of the new-barrel mini-14s and it's ~1.5 MOA (maybe a little more accurate). My Target Mini-14 is down around 0.66MOA, but that's kinda cheating...

  • @FLATblacktical Any gun can be made accurate, but if the shooter cant be accurate there is no point at all to spend a lot of money on products that "help improve accuracy"

  • @joseph299 You're right on all of that. I'm just not sure what you're saying? I can outshoot my ruger 10/22 all day but my ar-15 outshoots me.

People who claim pistols to be inaccurate make me laugh.

  • @FLATblacktical Bingo. -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy Thats complete crap, the comparison was truthful, they cant make you remove the truth can they?

  • @Kylef7735 No, it wasn't that they made us...they asked us to remove it as a favor. All those companies are in the Fair Trade Group together, and it was causing some friction so we took it down happily.

  • @Verilioness Ahh, i really liked that video, its sad it had to be taken down.

But it was a good reason to be taken down, at least.

  • @Kylef7735 Absolutely...we want those guys to get along. =)

  • Nice vid, good shooting by both of you, great to Sadlymissing( haha the rabbit comment), and that AR looks SIIICK!! keep doing wht your doing Nutn' cause its the best thing on YT.

  • GREAT VIDEO. SHORT AND SWEET. It is great to see the firearms and shooters in action. keep up the good work.

  • Is Wolf ammo reliable in your AR-15's? Do you have to clean it more? I have an upper from Del Ton and it says they will void my warranty if I use Wolf.

  • "Some poor rabbit on his lunch break" lmao...Hey Nutn, I thought piston guns cycle cheap ammo better? Reference your Ruger 556...You said here you like DI guns better for running cheap (Wolf) ammo...I agree about the handguard...Yankee Hill makes em really slim & trim...

  • so whats the overal impression of the XM15? and i wonder how big of a difference could it be btwn the civilian and mil-spec version of this rifle by Bushmaster, other than the full auto?

  • Nice new concept Nutn. The annotations make it work! Love all your vids. Thanks for taking the time to keep em' coming!

  • ummm. wonder why youtube didn't present me with this video on my subs.

  • @clap5 You're the second person that has said something about that..must be another YouTube glitch. -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy about how much is a bushmaster ar- 15 like you are running going to cost?

  • @nutnfancy happened to me as well lol

  • Hey Nutn why can't you do a full review on your RRA entry tactical? I have been desperately waiting on that FULL review because I want to buy one but I will not dish out the money unless you fully review, hah.

  • @TommyTsunami88 Roger that...going on the list.

  • @nutnfancy Thanks a lot if you could rush that vid out, drop everything you are doing and get on it that would be great, hah. I know you are busy man keep up the good work. There is absolutely nobody doing what you are doing and I respect that to the fullest. Rock on Nutn

  • @nutnfancy can you also do one on a tromix converted saiga 12 preferabily the sbr one but any really.
