most models on the runway are NOT healthy. thats very true and I'm sick of reading these comments telling everyone that its NOT like that because IT IS. I'm skinny have very long legs and I'm healthy but for the model industry i would have to loose a lot more weight. i know that from friends and personal experience.i wouldn't say this if it weren't right. theres still healthy models of corse but hell they are in the minority. its just true.

they need to employ models who were previously dancers most were but theres some who aren't and they don't have the right ankle strength/carriage/core stability to walk crossing the front foot over that much. all i'll say is bambi on ice!!!

None of these superskinny girls do swimsuit shoots. There's a reason for that. It's true that some people have very lean healthy builds, but the circumference of this model's thigh & upper arms suggests she's not at a healthy weight. I agree that being overweight is unhealthy, & studies suggest that being a bit underweight probably contributes to longevity--but you can't argue that a lot of girls on the catwalk aren't too skinny for their own good. (Hence the vogue for tall 13 yr olds.)

I think they fall cus they are underweight! Am underweight, and my doctor have told me i have a terrible balance.. If they where just a little bit healthier this probably wouldn't happen.. i just don't understand why this industry want long and thin, more likely to fall. Or is it the fall they want?
