I bought sprints hero the 1st of April and I am about to take it back for a 3rd hero. The outside speaker keeps blowing up on me so that I can not us the speaker phone nor hear it ring. I love what the phone can do, but if I can't hear a ring or use the speaker phone it is not much good. I will take it back on Monday again for a third hero and hopefully this one won't blow up on me. I think I will buy the insurance on this 3rd one incase it blows up again after my 30 day free look.

Is there anyway you can help me out with a minor problem Im having? I did a master reset on my phone a few days ago and now it wont let me send anything to my yahoo email address. When I go to send data it says "Microsotf Exchange ActiveSync" or "Other (POP3/IMAP) and when I go to set it up it says: Cannot connect to the mail server to verify your account information. Your server is not Responding. Is there anything I can do.

One of the limitations of all CDMA networks (Sprint, Verizon, etc) is that they are unable to access both the cellular band and the 3G data band at the same time. So, no, you will be unable to use both these at the same time.

However, if you are under WIFI, then you CAN utilize that to access data and talk at the same time.

the TP2 is the best phone sprint has to offer no doubt. What anyone says the TP2 just has so much power compared to the others, but it does come with size & weight.

The hero seems to be a close second.

I was at the sprint store today comparing my htc hero to the samsung moment and htc touch pro 2 and the hero is the better phone. The tp2 was a disappointment. The samsung moment is pretty much the same as the hero except that it only has 3 pages compared to 7 pages on the hero to customize. Also you cant zoom in on a SM where you can zoom in on the hero. The sm has a 3.2 mp camera where the hero has a 5 mp camera. The SM has a flash and the hero doesn't.

On a 2 year contract with Sprint you establish a rebate after 1 year but that only gives you half the discount. After 2 years you will become eligible for the full rebate/discount on a new phone. Hope that helped answer your question.

I have an iPhone right now and love it for what it does, but there are some things it doesn't do that other phones have done for a while already (such as what I already mentioned above).

The only thing I think the iPhone still has over all other phones is its smooth UI. But a few other phones are catching up fast.

The Pre is great, but texting wasnt so good for me . Keys were just to small and i made a bunch of mistakes. I type faster on my instinct, but besides that the screen is alittle smaller then Hero, less apps and no video capture turns me off.

Yea, that's another thing I liked about this phone. It has vid capture which has me sold completely. Some say that the cam isn't that good, just average. One thing that I loved about the pre was that it had a slide out keyboard. I love physical more than touch, but this also had flash. I really don't know what to do. :(

Man I don't understand why this phone isn't gettin' a lot of attention over here in the states. It's easily one of the top 3 to 5 smartphones in america. And it's with Sprint who has some of the cheapest plans. All the people that I've talked to never have had problems with Sprint plus it's Android and has every type of functionality anyone would want. The specs on this thing are amazing. If I didn't have an iPhone, this phone would be 1 or 2 on my list. Great Phone. Just hate that's not GSM.
