He plays along side Ovechkin, Semin, Mike Green, Nick Backstrom, Chris Clark and Victor Kozlov....Guys that give you atleast 2 goals/points a piece every other night. I was at the game .. Brashear was just being an asshole. Don't know if it was because they were getting beaten, but an asshole just the same. He was pushing/hitting Bogosian in the back.. glad to see Bogosian stand up to him. That's a Hell of a way to be introduced to the NHL.

Donald brashear is an old almost washed out enforcer who now resorts to fighting middleweights and rookies becuase he's a pussy. Often backs down from the NHL's current heavyweights like McGrattan because he gets his ass kicked alot more often then he used to. Dont get me wrong, he used to be a top fighter, but k'mon? fighting zach bogosian? at least fight a guy that isn't a complete mismatch like Boulton or at the very least, thorburn.

Well there is a bit of a code when it comes to tough guys, when you are in the league cause you can hit and fight and do not much else, you are going to usually fight similarly untalented players. Clean hitting an opponent is not an invitation to fight a tough guy with an iron jaw.

As an Atlanta fan WE NEED an enforcer. The only guys I ever see fight are Thorburn and Kovalchuk... Kinda sad when Kovalchuk is one of your best fighters. That being said, Brash had no reason to attack an 18 year old rookie.
