  • @AMAZINGGRACE87 :D i am not sure but it is worth a trip to walmart to see if they have it, sorry i can't be more help and good luck hope u find it.

  • FYI for the ladies in the UK I got mine in Boots. Was very inexpensive.

  • OMG me too i get the flakey when i put foundation on those areas tooo! tyvm for this video!!

  • Ponds and/ or Jergens Cold cream has really helped my skin. A lot of people don't like it but it has really helped me from flaking.

  • paper towel is very harsh, specialy for my dry skin...just smth i wanted to mention ;) tnx for ur great tips ;) ;)

  • @campanilla886 yeah i know learned that the hard way i use a cotton ball or cotton pads they work and feel better. thanx and ur welcome :)

  • omg i stopped using my foundation because the area between my eyebrows is totally dry and flaky too. ill have to try this! :)

  • Will glycerin clog pores? I have acne and dry skin, so I'm worried it might clog my pores but I also want to apply foundation but my dry skin makes it difficult.

  • @animeglue i guess it depends on ur skin different people have different reactions to things,is it ur whole face that is dry or only certain areas? if its ur whole face just try it once if ur face breaks out then use it sparingly or not at all if its only certain areas just apply it just to those places i find it works best if u add it 2 ur moisturizer or even a spray bottle its like MAC fix+ only cheaper hope it helps, any other questions feel free to ask away i'm here to help! :D

  • @siimplyannabelle i tried relying to ur comment with the link but it keeps saying error so i'll add the link to the description box of the video, hope it helps you :D

  • @lemonsnickers1 aww ur very welcome so glad i was able to help :D

  • I jus picked up some glycerin today and i was wondering do you wash your face first and then apply it?

  • @killergal13 you could if you want to, if that is what you normally do before you apply your moisturizer, what ever you perfer :D

  • thank you so much for this video!!!i did work on me...i was doing happy dance after i saw the result!!thank you again..:-)

  • @joeallen07 and @dainykins aww you guys are very welcome so glad it helped you. :D

  • Do they sell those products in drugstores? And where if so? Oh and my problem are is exacly where yours are too!! Lol

  • i appresiate that cuz i have the same problem in thee exact areas that u have i want to know were u could get that glycerin

  • just thought id let you know, bare minerals is not a good foundation for dry skin. they claim its okay for dry skin but its really not. if you got a cream foundation in a compact designed for dry skin (a decent one) you wouldn't have to fix any scaley patches most likely. i have really dry skin and personally cant use any powder foundations or else i get scaley patches and like hard welts from dryness overnight.

  • I didn't have dry skin until after I used the product (and after a couple of sunburns) I agree Bare Minerals is not good for dry skin it makes it look alot worse, like it amplifies the dryness and flackyness of my skin, so far I have not found any foundation powder or liquid that has worked for my skin even with liquid or cream foundation i still have to add some liquid glycerine with my moisturizer. thank I will have to find a really good cream foundation, any suggestions 4 really bad skin? :D

  • i really love the bobbi brown moisturizing cream compact foundation, it still have to moisturize as usual but it definitely doesnt make it any dryer. her luminous moisturizing foundation (liquid) is super moisturizing.. like it doenst even need moisturizer under it, but if you put too much it can get icky like any liquid foundation. those are the only things i can use because i'm allergic to everything, but they arent cheap.. if you are willing to invest they are the best otherwise idk :-/

  • i am 14 and i have to go to school by mid day i have dry, cracked, chappy skin on my chin. dose glycerin give you pimples? i never had dry skin before. I tryed pure vitamin E oil. That was to pervent dry skin too, but it dose the same thing by mid day i have that nasty cracked skin. What section in walmart did you get it in. Dose glycerin keep you skin not cracked allday? plz right back thank you

  • omg i get dry skin around the same areas

    i hate it so flaky

defo need to try this, ive never heard it of it before, is that because i live in the UK? hmm i need to have a look round

  • should i use this before or after lotion???

  • before lotion or else u'll just rub it off, sometimes i'll put it instead of lotion, or even better mix some with ur lotion for better results :D

  • Hey Titi Evy =]

    yOu Doinq yA Thinq lOl

  • im definitely gonna try.... my skin is too dry on the exact same spots as urs.... no matter how i moistuze, my skin has been flaky n its embarassing to go out that way... :/

  • it's definatly worth a tr,y I hope this works for u like it works for me, I would love some feedback when u try it, would love to know if it helped u or not. Have a Gr8 Day!! xoxo

  • where do you get the mixture from in the u.k ?

  • in the U.K? I have no idea sorry, u can google liquid glycerine to see where u can get it, I figure any pharmacy would have it, sorry I could be much help.

  • i just got mine from boots today :) ... if im not mistaken it was 1.39 pounds...

  • u got a great deal, hope it helps ur skin :D

  • I know this is an old video and I don't know what you're using now for dry skin but I have dry skin too especially between my eyebrows like you. I use nuetregena visibly even moisturizer and then I use monistat chaffing gel on top of that before I apply my foundation or concealer I find that it helps a lot with my dry skin and my make up stays put since the monistat acts as a primer. Hopefully this helps. I'm going to watch some of your new videos now lol.

  • I still use the glycerine i just added it to my moisturizer, and it helps alot, thanks for this tip I will try it out and see if it works on me! thanks again and I really hope u like my other videos, have fun! :D

  • Hello?!! Where can I buy glycerine and how much?

  • Where can I buy glycerine , and how much would it be?

  • but does your makeup last long?

  • yes it does, if u don't like putting the glycerine mixture all over ur face u can apply ur foundation normally then just put the mix in a spray bottle and spray some on ur brush and aplly it to any really dry spots u have on ur face, do it very lightly and ur face won't look so dry and nasty after u put on ur foundation, i do that if i forget to aplly it 1st and it works great too, it's like fix+ from MAC just cheaper :D

  • Hey I just started putting it on my face before my foundation because no matter what foundation I use, I get flaky dry spots...But if I put the glycerin on first, It looks normal!! Thanks for the tip!

  • ur very welcome so glad i can help! :D

  • The glycerin works SOOO good!!!

  • I was having the same problem, especially between the brows. I started using sweet almond oil as a cleanser and moisturiser. Fantastic. Great vid and its good to know that others have the same problem!

  • Is the glycerin mix the same idea/thing as a primer like mac prep and prime?

  • so do you use glycerin as a moisturiser substitute?

  • no I put it on b4 moisturizer cause my skin is extra dry, but now I add some of the glycerin mix into my moisturizer it really helps for extra dry skin.

  • I have this DRY skin problem also but it is on some parts of the eye lids looks scaly dry and very flaky. Would this be safe to use on lids?

  • I have applied it to my lids and haven't had a problem just put a little bit on try apllying it to ur lids with a q-tip, i'll share with u a tip someone else gave me, add some glycerine n water mix to ur moisturizer it works so much better, I have been doing that and the results are so much better! hope that helps! :D

  • well u can buy it online or just google liquid glyerine and see if u find it:/ I would think any pharmacy would have it, don't know if u have a rite aid or walmart over there of so they should have some!

  • yuss. i thought i was the only one!

    wooohoo

im so gonn atry this bit idunno where to get it in uk

  • I'm def gonna try that!! I hate my face by the end of the day when I use foundation! thank you!!

  • i cant wait to try this.. thanks a million. (Maybelle minerals are is less chakly than bare min.)

  • Another Tip: you can pur the glycerin mix into a spray bottle and spray it on your face and use a cotton ball to rub it nto the skin, I think it is easier then having to pur it on a tissue or cotton and you get more product where you need it.

  • Hi! This video is very helpful. I have the exact same problem and now I will try this.

I just have a quick question: Did you apply the glycerin straight onto your bare face or did you apply moisturizer first?

Thanks again for the video! :)

  • I added it to my bare face since my moiturizer wasn't helping at all, but you should put some finishing powder or mineral veil to take away the shine and the stickyness from the glycerine that's it's only down side but it works big time on dry skin.

  • Another Tip: you can put the glycerin mix into a spray bottle and spray it on your face and use a cotton ball to rub it nto the skin, I think it is easier then having to pur it on a tissue or cotton and you get more product where you need it.

p.s: what i just tried today was mix my powder forndation with my face moisturizer and so far so good...just a very light coverage though!

    Thanks again:)
