  • how many jackets does he wear in a day?

  • Was this the final episode?

  • Children's TV and public TV to a large extent has all caved into the pressure to be hyperactive. I think Mr Rogers himself called it "bombardment". They're afraid to put anything this calm on anymore. What a shame.

  • This makes me cry :( this is before my time but I love mr rogers

  • Really? Off the TV? C'mon!

  • He forgot to put his shoes on....

  • Looking for Company TAG that used to play at the end of MR Rogers, after the closing credits, it had a picture of a trolley with a green meadow in the background, and a little rif played with a Flute and chimes I beleive... it was only like 10 seconds long.

Do you recall seeing anything like this at the end of your videos? If so could you upload one PLEASE! I am desperate to hear and see that tag again.

    Thanks again for great posts

    dave

  • I remember growing up my siblings and I fought and accidentally broke the cable so we only had channel 14 and 15 which was the news and PBS kids. And this was one of the only shows we sat together and watched without fighting. I really liked the intro and outro. IT'S SO CATCHY (especially when you were 5).

  • Its really good to be able to do things with people who care about you.

  • Do you have "Tomorrow"? It appears in MRN 1001-1069 at least. 1069 is when It's Such A Good Feeling is introduced. Also includes a visit to Ofcr Clemmons' tour of the police station.

  • Do you have "Tomorrow"?

  • i watched him as i grew up... he taught me alot. what a amazing person

  • do u have the full episode of this

  • Alright to the morons that think Mr Rogers is nuts, ( which i don't, i said DON'T ) trying asking 10 of your closets friends things that they think on life, see how close it lines up with rogers, then say rogers is a nasty person. ( GUTLESS PEOPLE ON HERE WITH GUMPTURE TO try to express your heart)

  • I liked Mr. Rogers because he had a positive attitude and was always teaching kids respect for others and a lot of life lessons and i learned a lot from him. I agree if everyone was more like this man the world would be a better place plus it would be a lot safer.

  • my favorite ppl: God, My Mom, Mr.Rogers,Prince, & michael jackson.

  • I still miss him.

  • @spencersmommy1 i kno me 2

  • Rogers is the coolest!!

  • my childhood heroes were mr. rogers and shari lewis

  • I'm very disapointed that theirs no videos of that little train or him feeding his fish... my favorite parts.♥ wow i loved him

  • @MsIzzymarie type in "mr rogers 1765" on youtube,,

that was his last episode and it shows a bunch more of MRN epss

  • @Relax298 if his last episode was in 1975 then i was watching re-runs the whole time?

  • @mohab8989 lol nono, 1765 is the number of his last episode,, the date it aired was august 31st, 2001.

here just type in " mr rogers 1765 part1 "

  • Was he a pedephile?

  • @GypsyFullMoon r u out of your mind? he was a minister and an educator and he was a very caring person. only a fool would ask such a question. we need more people like him in the world to un-teach what your filthy-minded parents drilled into you

  • really? you couldn't even position the camera in front of the tv?

  • This song has a sad undertone to it when I hear it now. Especially the lyrics "I'll be back when the week is new" because he's dead now and won't be back- he's dead along with my childhood.

  • @evangar i agree its ashame its hard to watch these shows or ne show especially when the main character has passed. like johnny carson and many others. i really miss being little and wathicng these great shows. as much as i hate 2 admit it i get choked up when i see mr. rogers b/c of the feeling it gives me of my childhood

  • hahaha..."ooooh...freakin right" nice way to end that :P

  • where the hell you going thats your crib man

  • wow I love mr rogers...used to watch his show all the time.

  • Did he just take his shoes off, switch his sweater and then leave the house?

  • no, he always wears his shoes when he leaves. when he takes off his sneakers, he just puts his foot in the other shoe.(on the ground)

  • Oh. Well I dunno. It didn't show him putting the shoes on. Just showed him moving his legs a little. Guess he put new shoes on lol.

  • Johnny Costa always made something magical happen with the piano. :)

  • it makes me very angry that people have posted things about Mr. Rogers that are negative. if everybody was more like this man--myself included--think how much better the world would be

  • @delidude1999 I agree with you. Mr Rogers was awesome! He taught VERY good lessons on tolerance and treating others the way you want to be treated.

  • @Sunnshyneone i kno huh? he gave us life lessons. he was great man.

  • @delidude1999 i miss this show so much, one of my role models when i was little and probably one of the people that helped developed the good character i am today

  • I DID have things I wanted to talk about, but we always ended up talking about the stuff HE wanted to talk about.

  • Oh man. I'm going to cry now. I remember how I loved that show!

  • In the future, I hope to make a show and follow in Mr. Rogers steps to be a kind, caring human-being.

  • Oh my gosh, this brought back so many memories.

  • use to watch this when i was like 4

  • at least he spent his life doing what he did best, loving children. he probably missed doing what he did after retirement anyway

  • lol when he took off his shoes he forgot to put his other ones back on.

  • gone but not forgoten

  • God I Miss Mister Rogers (R.I.P).

  • That just brought a tear to my eye.

  • you couldn't have filmed this at a worse angle

  • can anyone tell me where I can find a CD or download of some of his jazz compositions? I always loved the instrumental outro during the credits of his show.

  • I always wanted the same thing. This show is the reason I love music and Jazz so much. Who ever that is on the piano is killing it. Good stuff.

  • I wouldn't be surprised if it was Fred himself lol

  • it's the late also,his friend...john costa...on the piano..fyi

  • It is Mr. Rogers on the piano...he has a degree in music composition and he wrote the theme music for his show.

I think Mr. McFeely is playing the bass.

  • its on at 7am on channel 08

    sundays.

  • i miss mr. rogers! i know i sound very childish but u never forget something like this........

  • And you'll have things you want to talk about I will too.

  • i love you mr. rodgers! <33

    R.I.P man.

  • i'll be back when the day is new

and i have more ideas for u!

    RIP mr rogers!

  • I love the good feeling song!

  • I used to watch that show alot, and when he died, I was on 2nd grade and I had found out from a girl on my class, and I was like "he died! Noo!"

    love you mr. rogers!

  • wow, you're a youngin!!!

i love mr. rodgers, too. i remember finding out in the end of high school about him passing away. it was a bummer.

  • i found out in 10th grade he passed, but i love mr rogers, always watched him on tv.

  • Must of been a friday

  • He always put his dress shoes back on. They are slip ons. They are either black or brown. In the early years, he would where dress years with laces, but it took forever for him to put them back on, which delayed his good feeling song. The last time Fred wore dress shoes that he had to tie was #1462from the week of STARTING SCHOOL!

  • poor thing i miss him i love the show.he had love for children.i grew up with it since 1995

  • PBS in nothing without him.I cried when I heard that he died and am right now crying like baby and 12.

  • never seen him put on his dress shoes...and they aren;t slip ons...so whats the deal?

  • I think he was rockin' some air force ones.

  • I swear to god in every episode he never puts his dress shoes back on!

Am I right or am I wrong?

Oh, and definitely rest in peace. I loved that guy when I was a baby.

  • Mr. Rogers...made so many wonderfull childhood memories for me... im always gonna remember him for that. and so will so many other people. My full repects to Mister Fred Rogers.
