  • this song was composed by Queen Liliuokalani, it was a song written in honor of Queen Victoria of Britain at the time. Around the world you don't know Queen or King who would write songs other than the Hawaiian Monarchs. But that was thier way of showing how much they appreciated everything around them, nature, the land and people.

  • She is actually the queen sister. I know her grand son.

  • Hawai'is was raped and sacrified it still does not belong to the us

  • Illuminati at its work again, they hide behind governments and kingdoms manipulating money and power just for their goals! Hawaiian were victims of the beginning of Globalization. We Hawaiiana must realize that we are dealing with hypoctrites with no honor or integrity only GREED !

  • Do u guys even know how wrong this is. Queen Liliuokalani would have to have been five months old when poomaikelani was born. I don't think anything been kept secret about her. She was just not a dynamic person compare to the alii wahine of her time. And if there had been some plot to corral up royal descendants, wouldn't they have assassinated Kaiulani or maybe had Liliuokalani gulitioned (no offense to her majesty).

  • @TheKavebear -you don't need to talk down to people, like their a bunch of kids who need to be reprimanded. You could have just said you find this hard to believe because of such and such facts, etc...

Forgive me if that wasn't your intention, but that's the way the first sentence is coming across.

  • @Cosmorific Sorry didn't mean to.

  • @TheKavebear You're right.

  • Auwe, auwe, uwe, uwe...

    kelii maoli .....maikai no mahalo!

  • Hoihoi. Eia nae kuu ninau: Na wai keia kii? Na wai ka hana noii? He mau ninau wale no e.

  • maikai kela kii onioni. mahalo nui

  • I have a similar story no ka mea ka inoa o kuu tutu kela inoa, aka mai ta moku o niihau.

  • Mahalo for educating us on this princess of Hawaiʻi nei and for sharing your manaʻo. Aloha e ke akua! Onipaʻa Kakou!
