Sorry but rotating left leaves only one hand supporting . If you are shooting for a long period of time this will not work well. If you rotate right you have both hands for support under the camera and you just re-position your hand on the zoom and focus so that it is also under the camera. This I have seen done by most professional photographers and I was taught this way by a professional .
