How can you enjoy the ride when the op is yelling at you DO NOT HOLD THE SIDE OF THE CAR PLEASE for the whole damm ride? Holding the side does not lead to a rider slipping under the bar.
Holding on to the lap bar, like the operator notified at the beginning of the ride, is the correct way to ride according to the State of New Jersey. Due to the way the lap bar was designed, smaller framed guests (especially children) can be at great danger holding on the side bar only, as there is a large gap on the lap bar that is easy to slip through if not riding properly.
I am surprised that a park would let so many lights burn out. While overall I think Bertazzon Musik Express' are slow, they do have excellent lighting packages and Morey's should maintain this ride's appearance much better. I seen many videos here of this same model ride in European fairs and they are in pristine shape, just about every light is lit.

The Musik Express has received an entire new lighting-upgrade for 2008, and should look close if not the same as those attractions in terms of lighting.
What you need to remember is that on most European FunFairs, owners only have about one or two rides to take care of.
In the situation with an entire park full of rides, it's a different case.

That ride had everything: Good looks, lights, and SPEED! Oh! and it also had a canopy :).

I never said an SDC Amor Express wasn't fast, but Bertazzon is fast too. Perhaps you´ve seen one of these Bertazzon Musik Express which has been operating slower than it's max speed, but the one I've seen IS really fast.
