N00b. This quite good maxspeed player doesn't have any idea of how hard it is to get good Snaking times. It's atleast as hard as maxspeed. I guess he is a Snaking noob if he doesn't know the game any better than that.

GX really is a broken game. It's the most amazing racing game I've played, yet it's got maneuvers that make no sense whatsoever that can dramatically speed you up.

the debate on snaking has been long documented, I personally consider snaking a bug in the game, which techncially it is, although those who snake will disagree. Dispite that, snaking does take skill to perform well, and while I can snake pretty well, I do not use it to beat my own records.

Chain MTS'ing is pretty lame imo too. Using it once on a corner is fine, but using it on straights constantly it plain silly.

*sigh* It isn't as fast or as useable as actual snaking.Several MTS in straights is only useful with an E rated body with an A rated cockpit. When you press A while MTSing you go slower than the speed you started off, unless you boost. You can snake continualy, but you really can't do that with MTS. There're a few tracks where you can MTS for most of the first lap, but on the boost laps, it is better to just MTS at the right spots. I MTS on straights for the best possible time, nothing else.
