  • This may not be a bad song... BUT IT'S NOT THE WU!

  • Yes and the original sounds come from The Beatles "While my guitar gently weeps"

That's what was so great with sampling back in the days, they took the best sounds of the musical history and created tracks that would mark a new generation and merge both eras with style !!!

We are desperately in need of good music like that again.

  • @jabenhaim back in the days? they sampled this song in 2007

  • i finally see where eminem got hailes song melody from

  • All you people who are loving this shit obviously aren't old Wu fans.

This shit is the complete opposite of what the Wu used to stand for. They were all about the raw emotion of rap not this smoothed out shit born in the studio. Listen to 36 chambers then listen to this. Completely different music.

    Wu fell off.

  • @DrClawizdead If you listened to them you would know Wu tang hasn't been rapping with that style since that first album. Have you ever heard the 2nd Wu album? Wu-tang Forever sounds nothing like the 36 chambers and most Wu-Tang fans like it...If you only like that sound from the first album, you're not a real fan..

  • @DrClawizdead Dude these cats is older, more mature, it's NATURAL to go through change, man, niggas can't stay 19 years old forever!!!

  • @DrClawizdead don't listen to these clowns, your right, Wu-tang fell off as a group after Wu-Chronicles CD i think it was 1998 immediately after wu-tang forever. Every other CD , THe W, Iron Flag, etc etc has been whack. Meth Ghost & Rae have been holdin their own on solo CD's, but as a group they are horrible nowadays. These bubble gum fanboys just support anything with a "W" on it because its Wu-tang and enable them to produce shitty tracks like this one

  • His name is Dhani, Dhani Harrison, not Danny.

    Great song though :)

  • RIP ODB

  • damn this joint is on some,"Second Coming" type shit!

("second coming" is a trak off the Wu's 1997 LP called Forever.) Im typin this extra shit is to educate the new generation on Wu shit! I feel its essential to wakin up the un-"conscious" minds to put young niggas on a path to enlightenment. The music available to the youth now is all unconscious/sleep/dumming down the mind. yung G's need to wake up.

*peep my channel join the movment wake up!! it's time to get ready for all out genocide

  • heard this many times..now i finally comment with: "amazing"..

  • @jasperbeardly fuck off lil wayne is shit

  • @jasperbeardly woah faggots are not aloud here where TRUE rap is listened to.

  • @jasperbeardly had to sign in for this.. worst fukin comment i ever heard ur a dick

  • This is a good video foreal.

  • sounds like eminems sample world on my shoulders

  • fuck off this is John frusciante, wouldn't have it any other way !!!

  • @loch1isthebest Witty not wicked

  • rae really killed it, his voice really set this song off, this is in bad quality tho... too bad Rza and Gza didnt hit this...

  • ghost verse is sick

  • @ocular1 Nice track, nice change of tempo, nice melody.

Ghost face made me chuckle on this one

  • ok jev to

  • thats how hip hop should sound, not some garbage main stream crap that MTV and the radio rates.

  • Great track - the whispering adverts are dismal and the only reason I don't favourite it.

Yes, this is how hiphop should sound but this tracks origins have mainstream roots Eminem used the same tune in Hayley's Song and from a pop culture perspective you can't really get more mainstream than a Beatles song.

  • But the thing about Beatles is they had talent unlike the mainstream shit of today.

  • idt dat his point dude i think he sayn it aint like soulja boi's bs therefore some real hip hop

  • that's the fucking truth

  • its because theirs not emotion in the music on the radio and tv in this era, its all made to make money .....what makes wu tang tu pac biggie smalls any good old school rapper good is the emotion they say how they feel

  • any one else hear the plug for some website. shameless.

  • pretty cool to hear the original versions of these songs

I like the album versions better,

but that doesn't make these any less great

    -WU TANG FOREVER-

  • Damn this track is nice.

  • Have you heard wu-ohh :)?!

  • "new wu"

  • The Dharma Initiative plus The Beatles (and Wu) = dope shit.

  • I usually don`t listen very much to rap but I like this song very much !

  • J FASHANTAY u can just hear by the style tht its him

  • think differently music nika wath you know bout rap

  • Great .... American Gangster

  • great work

  • thats how this album is supposed to feel, strange at first, but increasingly impressive the more you listen to it

  • you hit the essence of the rza's beats on the head

  • i am just starting to feel this .. its kinda wierd n shit at first i was like fuk it but now its working on me.

  • this song was sick. the guitar/singing is so chill and trippy. the rapping is pretty sweet too.

  • people say rza fell off ?? wat a load of bullshit,i would rate ANY rza beat over the shite on radio an a hell of a lot of beats in the underground scene, open ya goddamn ears a little u weak rza haters !

  • 8 diagrams wuz sick n this wuz eorst sittiest song on the album n e way cus its the commercial jam Peace to the wu masters of the hip hop

  • this aint even tha real beat

  • This shit is strange. I'm all about evolution, but even in evolution you still have a lot of the same components from your past... especially if it was amazing like RZA was in the past.

Sorry, but RZA fell off with this shit. I can understand why his boys called him out.

  • Would be nice if people who make rap / hip hop / whatever it is would do something original rather than just using the brilliance of another artist then adding some words on top.

  • Wu-Tang clan does original music, i mean this is an original song in some way, but still it is sampled!

But even the Beatles did cover of some songs, for example Twist and Shout!

  • yea, and George Harrison's son played the guitar on this.

It was on a 1960's guitar given to RZA as a gift.

  • There is a plenty of original hiphop music. It doesn't sound like you listened to enough to know that. But for a good starter, listen to a group called the Roots. Live band, pretty much all original.

  • Comment removed

  • I suppose you think that artists of other genres get thier totally out of the blue? The rock chord progressions that the beatles used were totally unique? No thats not true. "Rap / Hip Hop / whatever" artists such as Wu Tang skill lies in twisting the samples and making them sound good along side thier drums, lyrics and bass.

  • you would think they would shed light on they called it the 8 diagrams and speak about the Tao or at least kick some mathematical knowledge!

  • 8 Diagrams is very good album people shouldn't expect RZA to sound like 93 for every album. Also Raekwon needs to wake up abit cuz he sounds as if he is about to dose of

  • RZA said rae was the first one to lay a verse on it wayyy before he even let anyone else

  • hahaha that whole ghost and raekwon thing is a joke if they werent comfortable with it they wouldnt have rapped on it...i still think the album is sick if you guys dont like it your not wu fans

  • Nonsense. There are still contractual obligations that have to be fulfilled. The music industry is still a business believe it or not. I'm sure they did hate the track, but they still had a job to do. I respect them for still doing the job, and for speaking out on the fact that RZA fell off.

  • im saying...why didnt they say something to rza before they even rapped on it if they didnt like it?they didnt have to do shit coulda let any of the other members on here they didnt have to be. Once the album got dropped and the reception wasnt as great as hoped they were quick to point fingers. Its not like they cant hear the beat before they rap on it.

  • this is a great song hilarious verse by ghost but all of these tracks sound horrible on youtube compared to the album, they must be from the leaked versions or something, this song sounds off.

  • they were off of a leak version as if you had looked at the post date you would have seen that the video was posted some time before the album was offically released.

  • this song isnt the song thats on the album i'm trying to find it

  • Ghostface Killah and Raekwon have stated in interviews that they weren't comfortable with the album's release as it didn't contain the signature "Wu-Tang sound".Raekwon has also stated in an interview with Miss Info that he and the rest of the Clan will follow up with another album entitled "Shaolin Vs. Wu-Tang" without input from RZA

can some1 tell me more about this? no RZA i almost got a heart attack from that statement

  • That's like hearin' Mike Shannahan gettin' fired from the Denver Broncos. I couldn't believe my ears and was hurt. Couldn't see straight for three days. Wu wit' out RZA. Man, Times, They is a Changin'.

  • Cirgar song

  • WU TANG CLAN IS UNPREDICTABLE !!!

  • he wouldent let go da joint so i fuckin bit him..........love it

  • tight shit... a different wu but that aint a bad thing, too many rap niggas stagnate

    still want cuban 2 though

  • Jmann, thank you for making a play list of your songs :)

  • that was fucking crazy...

  • i love this track

  • real shit cop the 8 diagrams rip odb support wu livin legends

  • It's that Forever feeling again, only slightly grown up (from my side) wiser and still ALL ABOUT THE WU!!!!!!

  • Great hook!rythm!

  • I don't even hear an acoustic guitar so I doubt Dhani is playing on this.

  • This song is great. It has substance and great melodic beat with chorus.

  • The guitar player is Dhani Harrison, George Harrison's son. He was chosen by RZA to play guitar out of respect for his father. And Erykah Badu is the chrous singer.

  • he meant the one that was doing the solos.. and he was John Frusciante, NO FUCKING CRAPPY ASS GUITAR PLAYER

  • you dont know shit...you really think your opinion is better than RZA's?im pretty sure this song is better than anything u could come up with

  • there aint no need to hate on solar gesture's opinion rza aint perfect

  • Man fuck you with that "crappy ass guitar". Do you know who is playing that? John Frusciante. Show some respect. He is one of the best out there.

  • Don't forget Dhani Harrison. His legendary father did write the base for this song.

  • otherside65.....ouch.

any way this is a good song from probably one of the greates rap groups of all time.Nice come back wu. RIP odb

    "that bitch is crazy'"

  • wow this beat is retarded, omg!, I wish the rest of the album sounded like this. RZA is living in another world, too bad those around him are stuck in the slums.

  • the greatest rap group with the greatest rock group of all time. How can it be a bad song?

  • Music is neither black nor white -- it is either good or bad. This is GOOD.

    Peace, y'all.

  • increible! wu, wu,.4 ever.

  • PLEASE! PLEASE! COP ME THIS INSTRUMENTAL! ANY1, IF U CAN FIND DIS INSTRUMENTAL, HIT ME UP!!!!

get at me at myspace . com / brain rape vol 1

  • only 50000 while souljabitch has 21millions and more. It's like people dont recognize talent and real art anymore.

PS : it sounds like a grey album song

  • And those ignorant comments that follow like

  • ghost had the best verse in this one. wu for life.

  • dat word right there a man who came to kill gets knocked out lol dat is some gun butta shit

  • bzd ur juss a bitch foo this song is 2 sik...... Wu-Tang Forever

  • This shit is sick. Keepn it real, the Wu is probably the only hip-hop group that could remake this song. WU-TANG!!

  • It's spelled Dhani Harrison, not Danny.

This song isn't disprespectful, it's actually the ultimate respect. RZA wanted to make it because he loves this song and he loves The Beatles. Just because it's different doesn't mean it's wrong. Open your minds.

  • this is not bad it gotta grow on you though. when I first heard this I skip this track quick.

  • your gay, dont fuck with the wu

  • RIP : George Harrison

  • This track works,it's only jumped up teens who ain,t gonna get this.I was dissapointed that "watch your mouth" wasn't on my version of the album, seeing as that was the hypr track that shopped me the cd in the first place. Saw these guys in london on Rza's birthday, now I got to have grandkids so I can tell 'em about the "Night of the living WU-TANG".

  • i want fuck with wu tang

  • the guitar sounds way to trebley

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!! WU TANG IS AWESOME!

  • john frusciante was definitely the right man for lead guitar

  • it aint like it was

  • oooohhhhhh really? u found out? didnt know ODB died? kinda weird things changed when a member that brought the raw shit dies things change?

    R.I.P. ODB

  • its theyr heart that changed the getho will never get out of it but its coverd by their new life there kids

there flow is OUT and the emotions too

but good thinking i dindt thout about it

  • nice chilled track

  • WU TANG WU TANG WU TANG WU TANG WU TANG Suuuu

HIP HOP IS FOREVER CUZ WU TANG IS FOREVER, YA KNOW.... '~WU~"tang

  • im glad this came out it shows how diffrent wu thinks...unlike some other rappers that just talk about their money and their chain..a.k.a 50

  • benevolent./beautiful

  • i love this fucking album. it's not like all the other ones, but still a fucking classic to me. maybe because i grew up not only listening to just hip hop i can appreciate this album. i love the strings, the electric guitar, the horns, the samples, the tempo on this album. the lyrics aren't as most people would call "hard" but they are really mature. wu-tang is forever.

  • res in peace odb, men i miss u!

  • dope new shit so dope

  • not the best but still good

  • wu tang mother fucker

  • you have to understand that this album is following odb's death so rza made the beats dark nd slower. odb brought that crazy wild style rza showing whats missing without him. dont hate on something different they still kill it lyrically. better than any other bullshit out now.

  • rza didnt make every beat tho, in the interview he says he did a few but brought in a few other peeps to drop beats

  • love the When my guitar weeps sample. Remeber when gunshot used it on their album, dunno why thou, they just had the sample there, without anything on it haha

Its not "Beatles" that made this thou, its more a sample by the drummer, cant think of his name atm

  • im lovin this shit man its soo goood

  • Power/Refinement MIC's

  • This isn't doing it for me. It's a new sound, and experimentation needs to happen in order for progress to be made (from a musical standpoint) but this isn't Wu's niche. I respect them for what they did but it's just not what I know and love them for.

  • are you kidding man,

    listen to the lyrics,

its a deep song, its still wu, you can tell by the style of the verses, not every wu tang has to be hype,

if thats all you've heard by them, you dont know wu.

  • RZA has a huge respect for other genres of music, you can tell he likes and wants to pay tribute to the Beatles in this song. No one can deny the profound impact the Beatles had on music, period. For the RZA to respect that just shows to all these hip-hop hating punks that hip-hop can be just as respectable as any other genre; however, with that being said... I admire the Wu's original 36 Chambers album. I like when they kept it raw, gritty and niggerish.

  • Don't say niggerish dude. what the hell is wrong with you?

  • ay for real tho wtf are you thinkin using niggerish

    pretty ignorant

  • this song is.. idk, just dont feeling it

  • i love wu

but the beats a bit lazy..

    it's growing on me

  • Wu forever!!!

  • WU-TANG KILLIN IT

  • the wu aint for you dumb deaf and blind

    mainstream commercial hip hop lovers.this

is real shit.all you haters go do the superman you hoes

  • WU TANG forever. white spaz loves dirty south music and reggaeton dont hate on the wu. and as for gangster storylines, tell me what artist hasnt come out with that.like nas said no idea is orignal. what u gonna bring polka into hip hop. crazy sob

  • i dont care how the beats sound...the album is still hot

  • im a big wu fan but this 8 diagrams album just aint doing it for me. I got hooked on rza's hardcore beats but these are too laidback and fantasy-like for me....still support wu-tang tho

  • oh wow another punk ass unintelligent cocksucker hatin on WU. I'm impressed by the originality. suck a dick. WU-TANG!

  • Yo this song is fuckin dope, it's a mellow beat that's why they aren't fuckin hypin shit up, so quit beefin'

  • the songs are good, but they sound dead and bored. I've been a fan of Wu since I saw the black/white Protect Ya Neck video in the projects and fell in love with them. I never thought I would hear them sound so dull on a record, especially Rae. WTF was going on behind the scenes?!?!

  • Get real ..if you a fan u should kno its more than one chamber ...even thO ghost did this beat already ........do you hhhheeeaar this shit ...you CRAZY

  • yo, ya all fucked in the head

this is the hardest shit that wu tang ever did

but ya'll stuck on this new hiphop dick

riding faggots lovin that fake shit

but this whole album straigh jockin

on that mims and unk shit

but ya'll know that in ya car ya rockin

listen a second to the lyrics

    and forget about the bullshit

  • wtf r u talking bout? what souljay boy, crunk lovin faggot would search wu tang on youtube?

  • fucking faggot

    suck and bag it

while Im riding by you, thats right I jag it

  • good luck with your passion for other men...yah goof.lol.

  • just wait for shaolin vs wu tang, rza aint touching

  • i blame rza for fucking up wutang he should have keep hes old rugged types of beats

  • there is a sense of sadness in the whole album.almost like a man losing his grip on a ledge.and they know it.i feel for them dudes.most good groups never get any light and slowly end up from whenst they came.

  • Im a Wu Fan...and I actualy went out and copped the record...I wont say I was completely disapointed but it didnt knock me on my ass like the old shit...all the songs were mid-tempp incense burning song's...I like those types of songs...but the album never took off for me...my favorite song on the album is Weak Spot...number 13.

  • idc if this is the worst shit ever im still buying it to support the Wu

  • yea this cd was NOT a Wu classic

  • definetly not

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!! And Dhani Harrison is in it, too!
