Same problem here and it is driving me crazy!! I am out of the country trying to do some work on my slate and this problem is making it very difficult to do so. When you sent your Slate back, did you have to send in original box? I also reinstalled my own version of Windows 7. Does that void warranty? Thank you for any help!
I have the same problem with my EP121. Sometimes, wiping the screen with the flannel cloth seems to temporarily stop the problem (I assume it has something to do with electrostatic charges on the screen). At other times, rebooting helps. I'd be very curious to know if you find a permanent solution as it is a very annoying glitch on an otherwise excellent product (the automatic clicking at the top right often closes my browser by clicking the Windows 'X' button).
@motmaitre I have sent my slate to Asus for repair and so far I have no problems. Someone else however found a potential permanent fix. Google for "potential-reasons-noisy-fans-touchscreen-clicking-screen-issues"
Seems I was lucky this did not occur to me. The touch disables itself after a while though, but pressing the keyboard button twice (activate/deactivate) reactivates touch and then it works fine. Not a big concern since I use the pen 95% of the time.
Unfortunately I have the same problem! Do you have the unit sent to asus? had it been on reapriert warranty? Thank you for reply.

@FlyWordCH I sent it to Asus for repair within the 1 year warranty period, yes. The whole process took like less than a week for me.

More people need to know about this. ASUS needs to know about this. found that turning the keyboard on and off could help.
