  • James Delingpole for Prime Minister.

  • As far as climate change goes, I know it exists, just not sure the extent of it. But I'd rather listen to a climate scientist than a douchebag like Delingpole.

  • Anyone see Horizon on BBC last Monday. I was looking forward to watching a Nobel prize winner (Sir Paul Nurse) make a fool of Delingpole. It turned out Sir Paul didn't have to... Delingpole simply went on to make a complete fool of himself without any extra help.

Do see it if you get the chance... it's hilarious!!

  • @Simwebby I watched BBC Horizon too. I was disgusted by the comparison of global warming 'denial' to HIV and AIDS. It was even more absurd than the Panorama programme aired in the summer (2010) on the same topic. Sir Nurse failed abysmally to address the FACTS surrounding the debate, and simply focused on a false consensus which he portrait as being in existance amongst the scientific establishment.

  • @nottinghamization Delingpole didn't deny that there was a consensus. He tried to deny that a consensus is relevant. Sir Nurse (or Sir Paul as he is more usually known) reasonably and politely asked JD if he would accept the consensus of medical science if he was ill. At that point he became all flustered, and after some inarticulate thrashing around, declared that he was offended by the question. It always amuses me how often anti-scientists are offended or disgusted by reasonable questions.

  • To answer Sir Paul's question, I would accept anything that was offered to me, consensual or heteredox. But comparing cancer to climate change is quite hyperbolic. Cancer is an exact science, based on small cells and mutations that can be observed. The climate is much more complex and we do not know the effect of sunspot activity, methane emissions from cows, and the fact that Earth has been much warmer than it is now e.g. Medieval Warm Period, or the Roman warm.

  • @TheHayekian Actually cancer isn't an exact science (or an inexact one for that matter) - It's, as I believe, a disease (or so the consensus, scientific or otherwise, would have it).

  • ask yourself this, why are you proud to be an american?, free speech? your dollar? anything? your dollar is being devalued, your losing your free speech, your media is all controlled same as ours, watch the film then come back and comment, this isnt an attack on america, everyone around the world keep trying to warn you people but its falling on deaf ears, you people need to get real fast, id say you have about 2 years left before theres no going back, wake the fuck up, good luck from england :)

  • you call him a wanker but everything hes saying is right, you need to swallow your pride and stand up, you have all been taken over by greedy bankers like the rest of us but its not too late for america, watch a documentary called the money masters full on here, its all historic fact, no fiction, no conspiracy, your country isnt great anymore, your country's name is being dragged through the mud, your constitution is being changed in a way that will make you all slaves to a few greedy bastards!

  • Thank Christ Delingpole has got THAT VOICE. When Quint dragged his nails down the blackboard he had no idea about the the Delingpole.

THAT VOICE is a clear delineation of a cunt.

  • There is the face of a desperate social climber.... I despise him. What a cunt.

  • @DifficultToAnalyse \

If he's a social climber, he has chosen all the most unpopular positions to advocate- unpopular, that is, among most of the media class he would need to impress in order to climb.

  • Delingpole is a Wanker, he writes a book about the Leader of America, he's not even a US resident, so what right does he have to criticise Americans, he should write a book on what's going on in the UK.

Unfortunately, he's a want to be and is trying to sell his book!

And if you believe in his sh1t, you're a bigger idiot that I'am!

He said he's a 'Conservative', the new leader of the UK is a 'Conservative', he is also related to the Royal Family , he is here to make them & himself Rich!

  • James Delingpole raped my fainting goat kittens and then threw them in a bin... AND he smells of piss!

  • @MisterDogshit hahaha!

  • @MisterDogshit

LOL not only is this comment hilarious but your username is probably the funniest I've seen on youtube.

  • What a fuckin nonce !!

  • What a cunt..

  • Delingpole.. WHAT A THICK CUNT!!

  • Does this guy know what he's talking about? How does Tony Blair compare to Obama? Tony Blair inherited a reasonably strong economy from John Major. Obama inherited a broken banking system from Bush and his years deregulation as well as record debts.

  • "As long as it doesn't infringe on someone elses freedom to do what the hell they want."

I think you ought to read Theodore Dalrymple and Roger Scruton... you may think you entirely agree with them (Burkeian), I really don't think you do; in fact, I think you're quite delusional JD.

  • cidseven what an idiot. You know fuck all.

  • So on which scale of the political spectrum do the Nazism fall into? Simply put, its difficult and perhaps arbitrary to define them as a single government structure. Nazism, I believe, had its own personality that made it very unique in terms of political context. In terms of conservative social and nationalistic properties, the NSDAP was very Right Wing. On the other hand they see did not see themselves as upholders of an old order, and were extremely revolutionary.

  • Furthermore, Nazism can be summed up as political party platform that embraces many different sides of the Political. For example: Hitler despised communists, liberals, or any notion of racial or sexual equalities. Did that make him a Right Wing candidate? Simply put no. Look at his parties aversion to the ladder, which includes, The hatred of the Hohenstaufen Dynasty as well as the Prussian Autocracy and specifically the old Military Elite.

  • There seems to be a great deal of debate when it comes to defining what Fascism actually is. In the political context: Fascism is a government structure that the Nazi's had adopted as well as Military Dictatorship and Socialism. Nazism can not realistically be defined as one government structure or even a left vs right exchange.

The modern definition of Fascism is illustrated in a fourteen point diagnostic which has been refined by Dr. Lawrence Britt.

  • cidseven What kind of nutjob thinks Hitler was not a fascist. Talk about ignorant morons. Some low IQ scumbag with no education who reads some lying pamphlets and thinks it makes him better educated than people who have actually studied this issue in depth. HITLER WAS A FASCIST you evil pathetic scumbag paedo. .

  • Hitler was absolutely not a fascist.

Fascists had jewish members of the party and mussolini said state defined nation.

National socialism was all about race and believed the state was merely a result of national self determination.

Their only real similarities were their martial attitude, hostility to communism and their criticism of democracy.

  • @cidseven Hitler was a fascist.

The term fascist is used for all right wing tyrants of that era you pathetic moron. Stop trying to pretend to be clever.

  • You are an absolute imbecile.

    Hitler was left wing.

Fascism is mussolinis political ideaology. National Socialism was not the same as fascism.

Fascism did not have a racial policy, Nazism did.

    IMBECILE.

  • You are off your head a low iq nazi whose head as exploded.

Go and read some history books

    1. Holocaust Jews being killed

    2. Night of the long knives when Hitler killed of the left of his party.

National socialism was about race and nation.

Mussolini invaded African nations which was about thinking his race was superior you low iq oaf. Go and grow a brain.

  • I have a high iq, I am more intelligent than you and I clearly have read more history books than you.

I probably own about 100 books on history alone.

The national socialists were not the same as the fascists.

The fascists had jewish members initially, the national socialists were totally against the jews.

"Race: it is a feeling and not a reality; 95 %, a feeling. (E. Ludwig, Talks with Mussolini, London, Allen and Unwin, 1932, p. 75).

    "

    I have destroyed your soul.

  • @cidseven Wow 100 books. I have thousands you dickhead.

  • And yet you have read none of them.

    Well done imbecile.

  • cidseven I have postgrad qualifications I am better educated than a nutjob who spends his time reading nazi lie books.

  • If you have a postgrad, then not only have I defeated you but, I have also defeated your teachers.

If you learned at uni that national socialism was the same as fascism, fascism being mussolinis political views, which was more civic nationalist rather than ethnic nationalist, and which had no problem with jewish people being in the party, then your uni has not done its job.

Fascism is not the same as national socialism.

    You silly tit.

  • @cidseven No it is not. Your last words show what an utterly educated nob you are.

  • @KNOWYOUNOW 'utterly educated' eh? well, at least you admit that I have a superior level of education to you.

Fascism is not the same as national socialism. Fool.

  • Nope the NAZis were

    I quote form wikipedia

"Nazism is a politically syncretic variety of fascism"

So there you go academic agree with me. Thick people agree with you.

    You utter pratt.

  • @KNOWYOUNOW Wikipedia is invalid.

Fascism puts a low emphasis on ethnic nationalism and a high one on civic nationalism.

National socialism is completely ethnic nationalist, racialist and absolutely against jews.

There were jews in the fascist party on the other hand.

    Uneducated fool.

  • @cidseven Yawn Yawn you are making up your own history you are an idiot.

  • @KNOWYOUNOW Ettore Ovazza was a Jewish minister in the Fascist party.

Mussolini said: Not a race, nor a geographically defined region, but a people, historically perpetuating itself; a multitude unified by an idea and imbued with the will to live, the will to power, self-consciousness, personality

  • @KNOWYOUNOW I have crushed your soul by defeating you in this argument.

  • @cidseven You make up your own history. Some BS about civic nationalism and ethnic nationalism. NAZIS were fascist get over it.

  • @KNOWYOUNOW National Socialism is not the same as Fascism.

    You have no education.

  • @cidseven Yawn Yawn I have given you sources too look up you make crap up.

  • @KNOWYOUNOW My sources = history.

National Socialism is not the same as fascism. I have beaten you in this argument you stupid little lizard. Go and fuck yourself.

  • @KNOWYOUNOW Nazi's were not facist, they were national socialists, theres a mahoosive difference

  • @jinkedful Jesus Christ take political science 240

  • @itallxit2 Yeah greedy rich people need help.

  • big govt = big corruption. absolute power corrupts absolutely. why give them more power?

  • "Don't bother with that climate change research, the climate is changing all the time."

What a stupid thing to say, if it's changing then we should research it. If he is actually right he should expect the research to vindicate his anti-AGW position.

  • It's difficult working out which is the most retarded: Delingpole's views or his face.

  • I want to give this guy a wedgie and a wet willy.

I've heard he impersonates Stephen Hawking by napping in a chair with a calculator.

  • LOL THe second caller sounds bombed!

  • This Delingpole is a knee jerk reactionery. He supports nuclear energy, hates the EU, and want the poor to suffer.

He is a right wing spoiled brat, incapable of rational thought.

He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and gets paid to spout out right wing tosh. Some people have it easy. And then use that to punish people who don't.

  • 1He's virtually the only journalist that's covering the explosive story of climategate in the UK. I think that speaks reams.

France gets most of their energy supply from nuclear technology, but they are on the whole a relatively socialist country (especially compared to Delingpole), so that argument is killed.

"Hates the EU", reflecting the overwhelming majority of his countrymen let alone his readership.

"incapable of rational thought". Well, considering I've just utterly destroyed your comment

  • 2. ... doesn't that put you in the "pot calling kettle black" camp?

  • No he does not the majority of people in the UK support membership of the EU only anti british anti european extremists hate the EU.

Nuclear enegy is only supported by right wing knee jerk reactionaries.

  • "The majority of people in the UK support membership of the EU"

mmm, is that why, in the euro elections, the vast majority of people either voted for the Conservatives (expecting a referendum on the Lisbon treaty) or UKIP (expecting complete withdrawal?

Sorry mate, you really haven't got the slightest idea what you're talking about.

As I said before France derives roughly 80% of it's energy from nuclear power and it can hardly be called a right wing country.

  • The only time we ever voted on the EU we the pro Europeans won with a two third to one win.

You do not have a clue.

The pro european parties got over 50% of the vote in the last general election and the tory party DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT want to withdraw from Europe so what on earth are you talking about. You are an idiot and an oaf rolled into one.

Right wing reactionaries support nuclear energy out of unthinking knee jerk reactionary thinking end of story.

  • This country has never had a vote on the EU. It's last vote was in 1975 I believe. It's question was, "Do you wish to remain members of the common market?" (or words to that effect). The common market is utterly different from the present EU. Not one single member of the public has been consulted at any time from 1975.

People do not think about the EU in general elections, however they do in EU elections. Out of 72 seats the UK returned 42 skeptical or hostile MEPs.

  • Oooo ofcourse the EU is totally different to EEC. Just like the lisbon treaty is totally different to the Constitution. I understand.

The tory party are for us being in the EU so hardly any MEPs were wanting us out. Far more want us in. Get over it.

  • "Oooo ofcourse the EU is totally different to EEC. Just like the lisbon treaty is totally different to the Constitution. I understand."

This is possibly one of the most incredibly stupid comments I've had the displeasure of viewing on youtube. You didn't even get your sarcastic comment correct. If you look closely you'll notice that by your sarcastic logic the Lisbon treaty is the same as the constitution, therefore it should need a referendum.

Give a fool enough rope and he'll hang himself.

  • @IridescentEye I got my sarcastic comment correct. What are you on about?.

My point is that if you see the Lisbon treaty and constitution as the same, why is it suddenly different for the EU and EEc.

    How could I be clearer.

Yes you have been given a rope.

  • Nice to see you're trying to get out of your child like blunder, but even if you did intentionally make that comment, which is plausible considering it matches the infantile nature of your other comments, how can one compare the likeness or not of the constitution / treaty to that of the EEC and EU?

The EEC was purely an economic community with virtually no political homogeneity. Since the "single European act" we have been coerced by treasonous government officials to the point we are today.

  • Rubbish there was enormous political connections between nations in the EEC. The CAP started in the EEC You oaf. You are so dense Stephen hawking postulates theory about you. Are you suggesting the CAP is purely economic you idiot.

  • If you believe the EU is a good thing and you also believe the EU is favoured by the majority of the people in the UK we should have a common interest. A referendum on our dealings with the EU. As far as you're concerned it would go in your favour. It it did, I would accept that, I believe in democracy. But people like you don't like the idea of people having a say. That's because you're probably some kind of fascist / communist (both the same)

  • I am a socialist and a capitalist.

You are a the supporter of tyranny you do not support democracy.

I am a republican too I think we should have referendum every year on the monarchy do you agree or are you a NAZI / fascist (both the same

). I know you do not believe in democracy you would want a Pinochet to rule us a in second.

I have gotten under your skin you lose I win. I always win against NAZIs.

  • National Socialism isn't the same as Fascism you intellectually inferior ponse.

  • @cidseven You art thick beyond belief NAZis and the fascists are the same thing you really are as thick as two short planks. Grow some brain cells you pathetic low iq cunt.

  • Obama is a Joke and a Monster!

  • Comment removed

  • Well done Dellingpole, one of the best journalist in Britain

  • Ha. He's a tool

  • lol first caller sounds like some young-un

    Thanks for posting

  • i normally love Delingpole's writing, but his politics are too absolutist for me

  • Awful right wing idiot
