  • I met Peter way back in 1997 at an Ozzfest show. I kid you not, he was standing in line at the concession stand line to get a Heineken because he didn't like the shitty beer they had backstage. He seemed to really enjoy mingling with the fans, and he happily signed my program, which made my day! RIP Peter. It's a shame that all the good, talented ones die young, while jackasses like Steven Tyler are still out there making shitty music.

  • Funniest man in the last hundred years.

  • Remember meeting Pete after a Canivore show at l'amour east. He was just out walking around. Very cool, very aproachable down to earth guy. I remember him shaking my hand an thinking what fucking huge hands he had.LoL! Anyway... miss ya Pete!

    Sex & Violence!

  • "I accidentally punched someone in the face fifty times." Heh...

  • Type?, Ohh typical, CARNIVORE IS THE SH*T!!!!!!

  • @astra2111 i have had many differnt "idols" or people i have wanted to be or emulate, and i grew older i always felt differntly about most of them or all of them, and at 35 years old i can honestly say that Pete Steele, remains the only person i still think is worthy of looking to for guidance and as an example of a real person who is painfully honest and who has helped me with his music through many dark times and all my wosrse times of my life, his words and music always gave me comfort

  • @msnikish you're gonna look for guidance through a junkie?

  • @sickstar14 being a junkie has nothing to do with it, its not the drug addicted person i looked up to, and besides that doesnt make him less of a person, and its not like he was someone who did nothing with his life, he was sick and had a problem, so what

  • he was VERY funny.

  • Man...I didn't like all that fucking around with the voices. Great interview..but over produced.

  • does anyone know where I can find his newest interview that played on sirius radio after he passed away? He speaks of where he lives before he passed away and stuff.

  • @astra2111 It is kind of awkward, because I have absolutely no one to talk about this to. Sometimes it feels like if I'm too stupid for feeling like this, but it is the way I feel and I can't help it. About the external opinions... screw them, the hell with them. If I spend my life paying attention of what people think of me, I would not leave my house one single moment. People is stupid, and is more stupid to follow them, or let yourself be guided by stupids. Greetings, and nice to meet you.

  • @astra2111 In my opinion, you should never let external opinions affect you. Like Thomas Jefferson said, "In matters of fashion go with the flow, in matters of principles stand like a rock". I share your opinion, this is a tribe more than just a group of fans, and we've lost of guide. The difference between those tribes and us, is that for them, there is always a replacement, a heir of the wisdom and the power... but not for us.

  • @astra2111 I think I'm trying to get over it. I'm trying just to accept it. I don't know why his dead felt so damn personal, but it hit me in a lot of levels. It's like the old vikings felt when one of their idols where tear down by missionaries; my symbol, my foundation was taken down, and me with it. It is just to unreal.

  • i wish it could have ben a joke this time around...

  • I miss you Pete Steele.your music and words will always make me feel something. You are alive in death...the ghost of Peter Steele.

  • That prank with his fake death definitely made me question it this time around. I don't think I'll ever get over Pete's death and everyday it's on my mind. Type O always has been and will always be one of my absolute favorite bands. RIP Pete Steele, love ya.

  • @DimeNRhoads8204 Same here! When I found out he died It felt like I got kicked in the gut but then I thought Its probably just a rumor...till I went online and found out it was true:( TON were and I think still are underrated! I'm still very sad about it too:(

  • @MONIMONKS Completely underrated! So talented, great guys, and their live shows were always amazing. I've been a fan of TON my whole life so it's like literally losing a family member and it hurts just as much.

  • @DimeNRhoads8204 I hear that!

  • @DimeNRhoads8204 So it's like a "death in the family" eh ? :P But seriously, It is so sad, his voice is so hauntingly beautiful and its a shame that we don't get to hear anything more from him.

  • @DimeNRhoads8204 You know? I just can't stop watching interviews and listening to the music. It just seems to fucking unreal that Peter is gone, I also think about it every day. Somewhere in my heart, I still hope this is just a prank, but this time seems to serious to be one. The world has lost a lot of its light, and part of its soul died with Peter Steele.
