Overall: Pretty well done - 8. Since the style is inspired by Daybreak, I can say it does follow in its steps quite close.

Sync: at 0:31-0:33, before the blow, you should've build an ever faster pace, not slow down right at the end. Then, from 0:33-0:41 you should've went with a fading fast paced sync, not keep it slow. An 8:50 on sync.

And it's not just the colors, it's the shapes the images transcend with and blend with each other, as well. Short AMVs like these are good chances to take for a flawless scene showdown AMV. An 8 on effects, too.

Scene selection needs to have a good flow. As an example, it's not pleasant for the eye to have it look at a yellow spot in the upper right corner of the screen, then, the very next scene to focus on a violet spot in the lower left corner, and so on.

While from the start until 0:08, 0:22-0:33, 0:41-0:46, 0:58-1:02, or from 1:16 to the end, the colors appearing consecutively in each scene match up well, and spread the right mood, at 1:13-1:16, or 0:48-0:52, for example, it's either too dark or the scenes just don't go along well with the others.

Effects: they're quite striking in the mood of the song, and you've chose them well to pair up. However, there are spots where they backfire. The major setback of these spots might not be the effects in the first place, but the scene beforehand.

Originality: not bad, but not top either. It is put together well into underlining the idea, but it follows a most basic and common style in AMV making, the one of setting a simple concept or storyline to the AMV. To break it short, it lacks the complexity, so, on this spot, I rate it 8.

This is indeed your best AMV yet. The sync, although not flawless is pretty high rated. The effects are a good choice, as well, and you've fused them well, too.
