Thanks so much for doing this tutorial. I've been out of the loop concerning the CCR and I had no idea it could do this. Now my mind is swimming with ideas.
I would love to try this, but an older version of CCR corrupted my Imagine and it had to be replaced. Now, I'm scared! Can you tell me if you have the most recent version of CCR and if it is working with your Imagine? I am writing this post on Nov 13, 2011. You can email me at cjdempsey9 at msn dot com. Thanks!
Oh, thank you so much!! That was the problem. I thought I had to weld them so they wouldn't cut. Once I clicked "Don't Weld" it worked perfectly. Thank You!!
@blundelllisa Oh, thank you so much. I thought you had to weld them so they wouldn't cut seperately. Once I clicked the don't weld. It worked perfectly. I am SOOO excited!!!
I have been trying to duplicate what you did in craft room, but with a christmas cartridge. I do the shadow layer, color it black. Then I selected the main body of the deer and selected brown and then apply. When I moved the image over the shadow it turns black like the shadow. What am I doing wrong?
@blundelllisa What I do to make it easy is put both your images on the mat. Overlap them a little until the weld/don't weld box comes up. Select don't weld. Then select your other image and also select don't weld. Once both of them are like that, you can color them and they won't pick up the color of the bottom image. PM me if that doesn't make sense.
I would love to see how that printed on your next video and maybe a step by step class sort of video where we follow you on every step. I can watch you from my phone app and get on the computer to work along with you as you teach us. Just a thought, I would love to learn to do this. Thx Linda

I use the Craft Room all the time for this purpose. It makes it so much easier to figure everything out before you actually cut it,
Thanks so much for sharing
