  • Did anybody else at this show think the sound engineers did a poor job of mixing the audio? I was at the Roo that year and was greatly dissapointed by this show -- not by the performance but the overall sound quality.

  • an 1/8 of mushrooms was not necessary to enjoy the greatest lips show ever....but it certainly helped

  • too much bass but i think thats the camerea guys fault not the lips fault , but shit its still a fucking good song man thanks for the post

  • i agree about the bass, i was only using an hp digital camera and it was way too loud for the mic on it to pick up the sound clearer. amazing show to be at for sure.

  • i remember it like it was yesterday

  • this one was nuts... thats all i have to say.

  • This was by far the best show at Bonnaroo, no contest.

  • I find Steven to be a better singer (Pompeii). In defense of Wayne though, he HAS constantly admitted that he kinda sucks as a singer.

  • Thats the appeal of the FLips, you can't help but sing along cause you realize you don't need the greatest voice in the world to a make the greatest song.

  • i thougt it looked great

  • Thats not what hes hinting at, Hes just talking about how Wayne's voice isn't what it use to be, and all of his high notes were off.

  • He's 48, I heard him in DC and i was surprised by the quality of his voice. He must have rested it, cause it wasn't as raspy as I expected.

    STILL FANTASTIC. STILL THE FLIPS!

  • look at that stage.. one great big festering neon distraction. i've a suggestion to keep you all occupied. it's a good thing the crowd can hit the high notes.
