Forgot to also say, if you watch the Police Dash of when the suspect was pulled over in his actual car. He opened the door and starting running with the gun, and that was in the very beginning of this whole event. So when the female officer saw that, she obviously called out on the radio saying "suspect is fleeing north on foot and is armed". So all Officers there already knew the suspect had a gun and was armed, not just the Female Officer and UC.
The UC shot at the shooter and so did the cop behind the van ( you cannot really see him in the video ). If you look at the angles correctly there really was no crossfire by both people shooting, they basically were shooting a x. They weren't shooting out of anticipation, both officers vouched they could vividly see the slide of the suspects gun going back and forth. Not only that but the female officer that ran also yelled gun.
The fact that noone else shot at the shooter in the truck is the right thing to do because noone but the woman who fled and the UC that shot back are the only two who had a visual on the weapon. Anyone else shooting would have been just out of anticipation and possibly could have shot any one of the other officers by accident with crossfire.
Everyone, these Officers and all Law Enforcement risk their lives everyday to make our society safer and a better place, please remember that and be respectful. Do not judge another person just by a short clip of film you see on YouTube, that is utterly ridiculous.
That should explain it all, everything done by the Officers in this vehicle was done for a reason and was the correct move considering the circumstances. 99.9% of you have never had any formal training in these types of scenarios, so don't judge a situation that you know nothing about.

This was also done so the Officer on the left hand side of the vehicle did not strike the Female Officer in the crossfire, since the door she was at was parallel to where he was firing through. ( There is a Officer on the left hand side of the vehicle besides the one you can see, he was off camera majority of the clip ). He and the Undercover Officer were the only ones that fired, and they fired over 25 rounds into the van.
That IS why he put his weapon on the ground, so Police Units arriving DID NOT think he was the suspect, since he was in plain clothing.
2) The Female Officer deploying the Taser and Running- This Female Officer ran because once she deployed the taser and it had no effect, the suspect drew his weapon, she then yelled gun! Once the other Officers heard gun, they told her to move! Out from the doorway of the vehicle, that way the Officer on the right side of the vehicle, had a clear line of fire.
Let me explain why some officers did what they did, and what not.
1) The Undercover Officer on the right hand side of the video- The Undercover Officer placed his weapon on the ground because of the other Police Units arriving on scene, this officer was in Civilian clothing, therefore any Police Units arriving on scene would've seen a plain clothed man holding a gun at Officers on the left hand side of the vehicle, they wouldn't of been able to tell if he was a Undercover or not.
I know one of the Officers that did some of the shooting very well, and I live in the city where it happened ( hence why I've seen the speech saying what happened and why, and have seen the whole dash cam video ).

Excellent reaction time from the officer who removed the threat. Carefully marking where he was when the shots were fired as well. The threat was removed without anyone besides the threat poser being injured or killed. Success.

it may just be my opinion, but those cops werent very smart. first the female cop loses control of the situation, the second cop did a decent job covering his partner, except for the fact that the partner ran into his line of fire (even if the mass of the vehicle was between them) but why set your gun on the ground when it would be more logical to holster it..
