he used his overlord to tell the drones to pass the block hence helping in the fight and left just enough to allow a couple more rounds of zerling its an all in by the zergplayer

Just to clarify what happened in this game 2. July went for a 9 over pool... not a 12 pool. which is July's favorite build... and good for everything -- 2 gate, fast expand, proxy gates, etc. except for a fast tech build. Best went for a 1 gate tech (fast tech) build... and so July responded by doing the drone push... it was just an excellent adaptation to the situation... in no way was this preplanned or cheesed or whatever... it was simply "brilliant" as the commentators love to say... lol...

In a later interview, July explained that he had practiced the drone drill in case of this exact scenario. It was "brilliant", as you mentioned, but it was not spontaneous. It was indeed "preplanned".

Very interesting to hear what the other commentators actually have to say, I mean english commentators take it seriously, but these guys seem odd to me, talking about how July is the God of war and crap, lol, I mean give me a break, I love watching and playing SC but I prefer to keep starcraft in the context of what it is: a game. It can be a career like a professional actor, where you have to be good and lucky in order to survive, but the analogies of war are a little out there I think.

Awesome, the Korean commentators pointed out something which the English commentators missed. The fact that July suicided his overlord just so he could see the enemy's mineral line. He sent it in so he could click on best's minerals with his drones to perform the drone drill. Incredible play! Because the attack was launched from his base (drones moving), the timing needed on moving his zerglings up so they got there with the drones was hard enough, let alone the micro needed :)

Well, the drone drill wasn't his invention, but it's always fun to watch. Watching it again, he was really close to not getting the drill in. He only barely saw the mins with his ovie and then moved the drones at the last minute.

That translation was so cool. I wondered for a while what the Koreans were saying, and now I find it's pretty interesting. A lot of it is similar to English pro sports commentators, but a lot is exaggerated or metaphorical. Very cool.

When the nexus goes down (8.28) do the korean commentators say "game obseoyo" (game does not exist)? :-) It sounds like that but I'm almost certainly wrong.

Cool subtitles. Have a look at FCUK's subtitled VODs on TeamLiquid, you can see how the Korean commentators talk about strategy etc, and also how FCUK captures the excitement by writing things like NEXUS~~~~ when the commentators are screaming :-)

Klaz makes u feel drama excitement, Cholera has his uber jokes and stories and diggity/moletrap have good game anylisis comments. Korean commentators have that nice feature they don't describe an obvious things going on, but they do comment to the last end so its a bit naive, this game was over quick but they acted like Best had actually chances of recovering.

what i noticed the korean commentators doing was predicting what would happen in the near future in the game not saying stuff like "hes sending a drone to scout" thats obvious to the common viewer which seperates them from english commentators. They also add very powerful adjectives and phrases to increase drama in certain key stages in game

To be fair,a lot of the comments uttered by the commentators were not transcribed in the translation. Small things like "LAST ZEALOT!, LAST ZEALOT!" and "Oh Best..." Might not seem like much but the small things make for great commentating. Also, the excitement in the Korean commentator's voices cannot be translated by the text. Also, a lot of the Korean slang doesn't translate well into English so like near the end when the text says "this game was very thrilling," it doesn't sound as cont.

more precisely they have the headphones in there ears with what ever music they would like playing pretty loud the noise blocking outer head set and the booths are sound proof hence pro gamers sometimes having trouble with the door ;)

as of yet i havent heard of one case of a pro gamer cheating on purpose only accidental crashes

at that level if you took the time to look outside the booth and not at your monitor you would put yourself about 40-50 actions behind which wouldnt be worth any information you would gain if you happened to look just at the right time its more worthwhile to place turrets/pylons/zerglings around then try to get any info from the crowd
