I'm not sure this is Cyndi Lauper's version because when she sings the chorus the guitaring in the background doesn't follow the right notes. At 1.46 she sings I bop you bop they bop. Just after she sings the final 'bop' the guitaring should have gone down a note but it went slightly up. You should have slowed down the original version and not added anything to it basically because it didn't need anything added to it.
@flares I added 2 guitar parts to it, some of the chords ended up getting inverted. I'm sure there are other versions of this out there that don't have any instruments added to them, if that's what you'd prefer.

Sounds great - but this is not just a slowed down version. You have put some rock guitars on top of the song which gives it its new feeling.
