  • I also had my worst drunk on boiler makers. Went from sober to loaded in 2.2

  • This beer is fantastic!

  • Innis and Gunn have their own YouTube channel, it is: InnisAndGunnBeer. They have an interesting film about how they "discovered" whiskey beer

  • This beer certainly has a unique taste, but it just too damn sweet for me.

  • I am drinking one just now while watching a view reviews about it.. Its a very fine beer on the nose and the taste buds..

  • Good review. I just had my first one last night. Very interesting flavours. Complex. But, because I'm not a whiskey guy AT ALL, I couldn't get past the first half glass. But, that is personal taste; not bashing the beer at all - seems well crafted.

  • I'm hooked on this stuff now!! , had my first last night and don't think I will be changing brews for a while..... Youmpay for quality and this stuff is worth it... Non of that mass brewed bullshit beer!!

  • My favourite, too bad it's $2.5 / bottle in sweden.

  • Fantastic beer!

  • I've tasted over 300 different beers, and this is still the best I've ever had.

  • that beer makes the BEST BBQ sause.

  • Good review. I just tried the blond and original. Great beers but i couldn't get any head on mine both bottles.

  • why dont you like the clear and green bottles?

  • @LouTheMetalhead Clear and green bottles let more UV light through the bottle, thus there is a greater chance of "light strike" which will skunk your beer.

  • @elharlock oh.. i never thought of that! Im pretty new to serious beer drinking. I love it! Ive tried almost all the local breweries around Vancouver BC. Granville Island and Nelson BC are the two best ones that ive had so far. You do great reviews and ive got some Kilkenny right now, I like it, just dont really understand the plastic ball in the can!

  • @LouTheMetalhead Some beers are called "nitro" beers because they contain those little plastic widgets in them. Essentially they release nitrogen gas that has been held in the widget which causes any dissolved carbon dioxide to bubble up giving you a thicker, more creamy head that lasts longer. The idea is to replicate getting the beer off tap. They sort of hit the mark. Either way it's a really nice effect.

  • @elharlock Cool! I was pretty happy with the Kilkenny.. I also picked up 4 bottles of Innis & Gunn Original because they had some promotional deal where if you buy 4 you get a free glass... got pretty drunk last night. lol

  • @LouTheMetalhead No doubt. All of the Innis & Gunn beers I've had have been 6% or over.

  • jeremy is addicted dam you with your tasty ass beer

  • Comment removed

  • Don't know why people are having a go at the guy for I drink this all the time and he has just described it perfectly people need to chill :o)

  • you're a lying son of a bitch, you read the website and saw the flavors they applied to it... then u pretend like ur tastin' this shit lyk a pro. pfffffffffffffff

'maybe some vanilla.... just throwing it out there'

    shut the hell up.

  • @ninjabutt98 Yeah, whatever, troll. BLOCKED.

  • @elharlock LOLLL seriously... you took the flavors from the shit and worded it textbook style you fuckin idiot.

  • @MikeEmvee If you say so. I know I'm convinced.

  • best beer in the world!

  • Hey, 'm gong to be trying this beer out later tonight. I probably will review my first few sips or so in video

  • Cool.

  • Try a blonde or rum flavoured oak aged beer by I and G. Spot on!

  • Innis and Gunn Oak Aged is by far one of my Top 10 favorite brews.

  • looks good. I have 2 in the fridge cant wait to try.

  • I bought 2 of those today, cold and waiting for me in the fridge mmmm

  • I got one n firdge 2 try. Mght make a video on my page.

  • I got one to try tonight and might make a video

  • Got one infront of me right now. Its also going well with some medium rare meat.

  • Have you tried the I&G IPA?

  • @JohnnyH1982 Nope, I've never seen it around here.

  • @ elharlock its in the gift pack at the NSLC.

  • isn't ths oak aged beer an ipa?

  • Nope.

  • @TheMarijuanaTube420

No it is just a strong English style ale, definitely not an IPA....

  • got a large bottle chilling in my freezer can;t wait to try it!

  • This is good just not $3.15 a bottle good.

  • yeah I paid 3 something as well for a small bottle

  • I have a question, I'm just starting to get into beer; right now my favorites are Guinness, Tankhouse Ale, Hoegaarden, Maudite, Grolsch. but what my question is, where do you get beer glasses? Like do you just casually forget them in your pocket when you walk out of a bar??

  • i just tried this beer for the first time the other night, it's really really REALLY good beer, it's definitely up there with my other favorites (Moosehead Lager, Kilkenny Irish Cream Ale, Guinness Draught, Sleeman's Honey Brown.)

  • My favourite beer, theres nothing else like it - I voted for it when it won at the 2004 beer festival (one of the awards on the bottles label).

  • Drinking it right now and enjoying it so far... I've never tried whisky, so I wouldn't tell if it really has a whisky taste, but it's definitely not your typical beer. Very smooth!

  • great vids. tried this one last night and it's a new favorite for sure.

  • Apparently they have a rum barrel aged one as well. I'm going to be looking for that on the weekend.

  • I have to say this is one of my top favorite beers on my list. Great Review.

  • Why dont u like clear bottles ?

  • Light can pass easier through clear bottles and can skunk the beer.

  • I didnt know that, cool !

  • hey man - should probably turn the background music down kinda messes up the vid

  • Hey man just wana say i dig your videos man glad to see you liked Newcastle thats one of my faves if youre ever in the USA try some of the Big Sky beers they make another one of my faves called Moose Drool Big Sky is a brewery outa Missoula Montana dont know if they got it up your way and man are you a Misfits fan i heard the Project 1950 album in the backround have a good one man drink up cheers !

  • Thanks for the kind words. I'll keep an eye out, as more American craft/microbrews have been showinh up on my sid eof the border. Yeah, I'm a Misfits fan. "Project 1950" is prett ymuch the only thing I like from the post-Danzig era though. Cheers.

  • Thanks for this review, actually! Sounds interesting... I saw this one, along with Spitfire, at the liquor store in Ontario, but wasn't sure whether it's worth it or not. Since it's not available in Quebec, I'll have to wait to give it a try now...

  • You're welcome. Hope you get to try it out.
