Great shots! You really show the band in true action. I wish there was more of Gotobed but there are a few of him drumming. In any case, this is a great video. I saw them in NY in around 2000. I live in WA so missed them at this grand show (wish I would've been there). They are one of the greats. Too bad we couldn't get John, Paul, George, and Ringo to have done something like this (impossible today). Thanks again for the great video!
Wire is still Colin, Graham Lewis on bass and Robert Grey (Gotobed) on drums. Bruce Gilbert left and so they are being joined on rhythm guitar on this tour by Margaret Fielder McGinnis from Laika. Hope this helps.
It was an awesome show! I stopped following them after the mid-1980s. But their Read & Burn songs (which I didn't know) were absolutely awesome. These Pink Flag ditties are still my faves, though.
wish i woz there...fan 4 many years just keep geting better & better [should have known better]i bet that main band out of seattle in the 90s where fans of wire
Thanks for posting this. Love the black and white treatment. I could not believe when they played "Lowdown" last night I was going nuts! And then they kicked ass on "12XU"--I'm still in shock! Did I say thanks for posting this! Unbelievable footage!

Without BRUCE GILBERT...it's only Wir. :)

Wir is Wire without Robert Gotobed. So without Bruce they should've named themselves Wie or, even better, Wre - because there is no 'I" in it :)

So who is "Wire" today? Colin and who else?

When it comes to great bands that influenced other great bands, Wire resonates through much of what is significant in music even today.
