Excellent video! Reverse quit out on my son's 1992 Accord. The transmission is a 4 spd auto, model APX4. I bought a rebuild kit, new filter, reman torque converter, 7 qts of Honda fluid then went to it. I found no broken O-rings, no metal shavings or any signs of damage. I throughly disassembled and cleaned every last part then reassembled and torqued per the Honda serve manual. She now shifts great in all fwd gears but still no reverse. Anyone have any idea what I missed?

you could have missed a crack, ball valve, or a o ring isn't sealing. You can drop a pan and use air gun to see if it moves the piston to reverse. but you have to get the manual to see where to do this.

Hi Buddy, I have a 93 ford Truck E-350 1 Ton Econoline - Van and something happened with the transmission (automatic), full fluid level its OK but when into 1 and 2 .... the truck runs good but for 3rd and 4th the RPMs go up and up (foot on gas accelerating), but the truck doesn't speed up .... i'm stuck on 1st and 2nd...

-Solenoid problem ?

-Should I reset by disconnecting battery ?

-No OD light flashes in dashboard.

-No ''CHECK ENGINE'' light.

hi, i`m from mexico, i need your help please, i live in a little town but i have a problem whit my isuzu rodeo 1994 v6 3.2 4x2 rwd trans, so here nobody fix that kind of trans, so i put out my trans and open, behind the oil pump there are something whit many springs, all of them are damaged, and a circle of plastic is broken, then some disc of friction don`t have anything just steel, do you think the valve body have a problem, how can i check if the solenoids are ok? please can you help me?
