  • how do you smudge the lower lash line on other people?? i always poke them in the eye...

  • @Fionaphilomena Practice! And use the right brush and have a steady hand. I never have caffeine before doing makeup because it makes my hands shake. But definitely practice! Thanks for watching-

  • what more can i say, you are a magician, a pro one:)

  • @treyjedi3 Glad to see it's appreciated! Did you see the newer version we posted? It's called "Dark Glossy Eyes," it's much closer to the blue glossy eye that I'm known for. The book will be released via e-book this year with interactive video. Cannot wait to share it! Thanks for watching-

  • amazing talent thxs for sharing these tips on youtube

it really expands the range of learning these tips and tricks

how long do glossy eyes last a hour?, 30 minutes? 2 hours?

  • @rawraw50 It really depends on the person and what products are underneath! Using this combo, we got a good hour out of the look before it started to come undone slightly. I personally think this look works well with a few creases, it makes it look more gritty and raw. Thanks for watching!

  • wearing it right now...its awesome :)

  • Illamasqua Intense Lipgloss appears to last quite long, they have it in black, too. Done that several times, nice look!

  • you're so amazing!

  • I wish there was a way to have a long lasting glossy eyeshadow. Someone should invent something.

  • What kind of gloss did you use?

  • @Catfairy13 All products listed in the link under the video:) The gloss I used in the vid is now discontinued, but any non-mint clear gloss will work. You can even use a sheer gloss with shimmer or a touch of color. Thanks for watching!

  • wow i want to be one of your modles, just for the makeup!

  • i would really love if you did some eye looks on monolid type eyes!

  • what is rose salve

  • @linn343 It's an emolient healing product for dry skin that can also be used as a beauty product. It contains rose oil. It feels a little like vaseline - seriously one of my kit ESSENTIALS! Great for dry lips, dry cuticles, dry skin....and glossy eyes!

  • @givegoodface ohh thx so much u are so sweet and amazing artist

  • @givegoodface where can i buy rose salve ? [i live in canada]

  • @HelloEmyy I don't live in Canada...so I can't really tell you! I would try using Vaseline as the alternate ingredient listed, you'll get the same look without having to hunt for salve. In the US, rose salve can be purchased at Sephora - you can probably get it online without a problem;) Thanks for watching!

  • does this crease a lot?

  • @Shimmerwave At the beginning I said that it doesn't last! Doing the cream base and eye primer help a lot, but gloss will eventually eat its way through the makeup. That said, it actually looks kind of rockstar when it creases, some people rock it and it looks awesome. Thanks for watching;)

  • i love your videos! pls pls do more!!

  • I was wondering- would you take off the rose salve and the gloss with normal eye makeup remover or is there another process to that?

  • @dramaindulged Rose salve, like vaseline, is a petrolatum base and will remove with any waterproof eye makeup remover or facial cleanser. Usually I have the model wipe the excess gloss off with a dry tissue or sponge before washing to prevent the gloss from migrating into the eyes.

  • @givegoodface Ohh! Ok thank you! :)

  • I love this look but I've never done it with eyeshadow I just do glossy lids I got the look from flyleafs music video for all around me :)

  • @CateysBeauty Are you kidding? - I love the look of gloss on bare lids! Try the pure rose salve, it wears better on the lids all day;)

  • Love glossy eye looks!!!

  • thanks you so much im on it! I do glossy eyes all the time for shoots but i need that salve didnt know it exsisted lol

  • where can i buy the salve!

  • @BeautybyGwen Sephora sells it for $7!

  • beautiful work :-)

  • Im always scared to try this on myself , let alone on others! lol I'll try this tonight.. Have you used Vaseline before? If so are the results the same as using gloss?

  • @xoXOLizOXox Vaseline has a cloudy semi-matte texture...so it doesn't look as shiny as rose salve mixed with gloss. It works, but I find it doesn't have as brilliant of a shine.

  • Lovely work as usual Jordan. When is your book out?

  • Omg love it.........

  • great work! Very helpful.

  • Huge fan of your work! Great video!! Please keep them coming.

  • A little tip that might prove useful to someone. I use 100% Dimethicone (I buy in bulk from Coastal Scents because I buy raw materials for DIY bath/body stuff) which is super tacky, water repells off of it and it has a high viscosity. But if you don't have access to that, using the tackiest, stickiest clear lipgloss you can find works great. I've used MUFE Super Lip Gloss (which has a lot a LOT of dimethicone in it).

    Well made video!!!

  • @MakeupByMelissaLyn OMG THANK U for that tip!!!

  • Thank you so much for this video Jordan !

  • Thanx Jordan! Can't wait to try it. ^_^
