@Fionaphilomena Practice! And use the right brush and have a steady hand. I never have caffeine before doing makeup because it makes my hands shake. But definitely practice! Thanks for watching-
you sir do have some talent!!! i am a really big fan of your tutorials keep posting videos i can not live without them i just hope i become a pro makeup artist like you!!!
HOLY SH*T THIS IS FREAKIN AMAZING!I've seen A LOT of people claim that they are the original creators of this look so its nice to see THE REAL ONE!WOW,YOU TRULY ARE PHENOMENAL!I'm looking forward to your book release?I wonder,When will it be out?I <3 The HD New Version video as well! All your videos are Amazing! Can't wait to see more!
@treyjedi3 Glad to see it's appreciated! Did you see the newer version we posted? It's called "Dark Glossy Eyes," it's much closer to the blue glossy eye that I'm known for. The book will be released via e-book this year with interactive video. Cannot wait to share it! Thanks for watching-
@rawraw50 It really depends on the person and what products are underneath! Using this combo, we got a good hour out of the look before it started to come undone slightly. I personally think this look works well with a few creases, it makes it look more gritty and raw. Thanks for watching!
@Catfairy13 All products listed in the link under the video:) The gloss I used in the vid is now discontinued, but any non-mint clear gloss will work. You can even use a sheer gloss with shimmer or a touch of color. Thanks for watching!
@linn343 It's an emolient healing product for dry skin that can also be used as a beauty product. It contains rose oil. It feels a little like vaseline - seriously one of my kit ESSENTIALS! Great for dry lips, dry cuticles, dry skin....and glossy eyes!
@HelloEmyy I don't live in Canada...so I can't really tell you! I would try using Vaseline as the alternate ingredient listed, you'll get the same look without having to hunt for salve. In the US, rose salve can be purchased at Sephora - you can probably get it online without a problem;) Thanks for watching!
@Shimmerwave At the beginning I said that it doesn't last! Doing the cream base and eye primer help a lot, but gloss will eventually eat its way through the makeup. That said, it actually looks kind of rockstar when it creases, some people rock it and it looks awesome. Thanks for watching;)
@dramaindulged Rose salve, like vaseline, is a petrolatum base and will remove with any waterproof eye makeup remover or facial cleanser. Usually I have the model wipe the excess gloss off with a dry tissue or sponge before washing to prevent the gloss from migrating into the eyes.
Im always scared to try this on myself , let alone on others! lol I'll try this tonight.. Have you used Vaseline before? If so are the results the same as using gloss?
@xoXOLizOXox Vaseline has a cloudy semi-matte texture...so it doesn't look as shiny as rose salve mixed with gloss. It works, but I find it doesn't have as brilliant of a shine.
A little tip that might prove useful to someone. I use 100% Dimethicone (I buy in bulk from Coastal Scents because I buy raw materials for DIY bath/body stuff) which is super tacky, water repells off of it and it has a high viscosity. But if you don't have access to that, using the tackiest, stickiest clear lipgloss you can find works great. I've used MUFE Super Lip Gloss (which has a lot a LOT of dimethicone in it).
how do you smudge the lower lash line on other people?? i always poke them in the eye...

Illamasqua Intense Lipgloss appears to last quite long, they have it in black, too. Done that several times, nice look!

I was wondering- would you take off the rose salve and the gloss with normal eye makeup remover or is there another process to that?
