This is the "orphanage" I'm from, i was thrown away by birth mother into this place and suffered much of what these kids are suffering. Sad thing is, it's still going on today, nothing has changed in Bulgaria.

There are more children in orphanage of Romania. Bulgaria have not more than 8700 children in 144 orphanages. In Romania There is over 19000 children in orphanage maybe more. ;(

I first saw this documentary on tv two years ago and to this day it is still vivid in my mind. It makes me soo upset and angry to see how these children live and are treated... utter disgrace to humanity! Whats even worse is when the documentary ended, that was it!!! No...giving money to them, reaching out to make it better, change...very upsetting that this is acceptable! I was in bulgaria last summer and some reps were going round asking for money for a childrens

@underpantswedgy , the problem is Bulgaria has over 500 000 Gypsies and most of them life a criminal lifestyle: they marry at age 12 and reproduce immediately, with most kids ending up in orphanages. No Gypsies would mean closing of ALL orphanages, because we Bulgarian do not desert our children-the most precious gift from God.

And orphanages are comprised 99.99% Gypsy kids. It's the Gypsies fault-they create children and throw them in the garbage.
