Even with the small 28 amp hour pack I have in the Pinto, at 360 V, thats 10.1KWH of energy in the pack.

To charge the 25 mile pack in 5 minutes it would take a 121 KW genset. thats 500 amps from a 240 VAC outlet. Not many of those around my home.

To charge a 450 mile range car (1.8 megawatt hour pack) in 5 minutes you would need a 21.6MW genset. There are no outlets big enough that I know of around here to plug into.

oh yeah, if I could go with LiFePO4 batteries I would be lovin' it. I could lose 600 lbs and have ~20% more power. Would surely be in the low 11's, mayyyybe even break into the 10's.

You should contact the company, an send them vid's. See if they will donate you the batteries in exchange for free advertising for them. Plus if you get into the 10's. thats money in the bank for them.
