thats about all i got to say about sgu its a filler for the story its ok and i think they need to pick up the pace on board the ship or there not going to make it its a very big ship and they dont even have a skiletion crew if they wont to get that ship at lest at half streanth and at lest half repaiered befor somthing mager happens some one needs to start craking a wipe i think hell they dont even have half the ship explored yet start fixing the holes in it will yea

sgu is ok but at lest they are not doing a star treck . In star treck you have a what almost a 2 or 300 year gape in the story line from the 1 star treck to the next gen at lest if they come out with a new star gate and they are able to get the ship back to earth that will be able to explane how and why they where able to make masive jumps in the tech that the humans will have hell we all ready know that alitans did not stay on earth they went back to explore where they toke it from lol

The one with the Symbol of earth isnt the original gate. It was transported by ship the other gate with the weird symbol for a point of orgin im still trying to figure out what that symbol really ment.

you know you would think the gates can survive lava lol since a gate survived the destruction of an entire planet we they blew up there first naquada bomb lol

the issue there, in atlantis season 2 was that the lava swallowed the gate, so the team & the entire population was unable to reach the gate. it was somewhere hundreds of merets under the surface covered with lava, but it surely wasn't destroyed.

if you remeber from that episode they tried dialing back when it shut down before everyone was through but it never made the connection and the fact that the gate shutdown means it was destroyed cause the gate would have drawn energy from the lava to stay open so i think they implied it was destroyed

By the way, there are many other 'troubles' that do not fit together in the SG franchise :D

That's right, it's very different from the two previous series, it's more dark and serious, and focuses more on character drama and character development.

But it probably appeals to some Stargate fans, since I like it, and I know about other thousands of people who like it.
