That rumor got started back in the 70's becuz of a record cover they did where they were wearing alot of makeup & looked kinda feminine. But it wasn't their idea, it was the photographer's. They absolutely hated it when they saw how girly it looked.

As far as Sara goes, she & Daryl broke up yrs ago. It was discussed on VH-1 Storytellers by both of them. They're still friends though.
