@12voltguy I also have a heat gun. It's too hot for a lot of stuff. Good idea on the oil cooler. I have one from the mower that the engine came from but it might be too big. It's a hydraulic cooler. Surplus Center in Lincoln, NE has sever smaller models for sale, I think. After taking some measurements from the gas engine, I don't need to make too big of a change. I'm still contemplating the options.
add an external cooler for more oil , & rais motor if you have the room so you don't have to chop it up as much
ps a heat gun is what you need for shop
I use 1 everyday for heat shrink tube
goes up to 1200 watts
will burn you bad, makes decal removel easy
