I don't think he's a hero by any stretch of the imagination, nor do I hate him. I think that it's an incredibly sad situation - Yes, he killed a man, and severely injured two others, but I do find sympathy for him as well as his victims as he was very clearly unstable, and had serious mental issues. Regardless of what he did, he's still left his children without a father, and they will no doubt be haunted by what he's done....
