  • I love this song I remenber when I danced in CIRCUS DISCO and all the discotheques in HOLLYWOOD CA!!!..in 80"s!!!!

  • @fidelitoledo

Did you know that Gino Soccio is from Montreal, Canada? I just love his sound, I was a Disco goer in the late 70's and early 80's. Montreal and it's surroundings had amazing discos in those days and they had this very avant-garde unique style in all of Canada. I miss those days and btw our gay clubs are awesome, I'm not gay but gay friendly and I would go to gay clubs with my spouse.

  • @barzouf Dear beouf,

Thanks for that, I had not thought the artist was from America, but Europe, France.

Sounds very logical, now that you mention it, most people in France can't speak English, especially back then before the union proper; let alone write bi-lingual song lyrics.

    .

    Cheers.

    from,

    del-boy.

  • I hope all you fans out there know that I wrote a French version of this before this one.

I really love this videos though, thank you to discothequeplus for keeping it up here for so long!

  • Anche io ho il 45rpm original...I've got the original 45rpm record...born in 1968.... :-)))

  • This track was decades ahead of its time - amazing!

  • Right you are "patashnikk" the tune it's ahead of its times. If I listen to it today, it sounds new. There also an older version of The Visitors, it's good but not as good as this one but worth listening to.

  • @TheFranksantana - Hi, I have the old version:) Do you know where this mix of it is from?

  • patashnik I have no idea where this version came from, I did not have the old version that you have, I had the newer version, one side in French the other side was in English. And I think it was from "Black Sun Records ®" in Canada.

  • io ho il 45gg originale di Gino Soccio!!! MITIKO!!!! (sono del 1971)

  • Soccio e Moroder due grandi della musica elettronica degli anni 70

    lol

  • This song gives me chills,

    Dance contest intensity

When it is 0330 at the late 80s Bonham Exchange in SanAntonio, TX Michael the DG, and that music is un repentently blasting and the lights blaring.

Your GF is flying overhead from an aerial spin you just popped on her, your mind going crazy :somehow poised between Gary Newman Cars, Telex Mosco Disco, Georgio Morodor/ Hannas: From Here to Eternity, Patrick Cowley remixed Menergy and the X everyone knows you are on (but arent) ahhh kanfeelitnow!

  • ufffffffffff, mi infancia, mi divina infancia ochentosa

  • gino soccio, giorgio moroder il meglio della musica elettronica anni 70

  • @JustAnotherStar17 esattamente caro fratell...esattamente!!!

  • And today's youth think they have hard beats...This shit is f..ken bad ass. For those of us from the LA area-Pegasus did it best. Always great sound and light show.. and even their own dancers.

  • THE BEST

  • YEP!! respect to GS!!

  • Reminds me of my first DJ gigs at the Our Lady of Lourdes center.circa 1979 Apocalypse musique.

  • I likes it

  • this mix brings back very fond memories...sighhhhhhhhhhh... the days when we'd record tapes from the radio on saturday nights - He really is the consummate composer. A 'remix' for 1979? Not bad at all. You can also get the full cut of that track on his "best of" compilation. It even includes a French take of the song!!! Kisses for posting this treasure. Gino forever!

  • im gonna upload "Dancer" from Gino Soccio, i was looking for this song 4 years, today i found it hahaha

  • Can anybody tell me where Gino is nowadays....I checked every goddamn website with his name on, but he seems to have disappeared somewhere in his native Canada. This Guy definitely should be forced to make new albums !

  • Soccio 4 EVER. They don't make music like this anymore... this music was way ahead of its time and still quite sofisticated. If it wasn't for these guys, god help us today. Thanks for the clip, thanks for the memories. Think I'm gonna have a Soccio party!

  • One of the Best Tunes Ever! Gino Soccio beautiful masterpiece from 79/80 couldn't recieve a more worthy vid, than this one. It's simply Awesome & true to the spirit of Ginos Lyrics. Thanks

    Peace & cosmolove

  • Gino Soccio wih this bass line is like Giogio Moroder with 'i feel love'...a lot of tecno programs includes this bass line that all DJ steal today...

  • thanks for posting it. awsome! great memories.

  • Many thanks! Great sound, great vid and an overall awesome post!

  • The only place where I heard this song was during the Salesian High School dances in East L.A. in 80's.

  • That's where I used to party! I live in Arizona now, but fondly remember the kick ass parties at Salesian!

  • XEW-FM (now WFM) was the only radio station in Mexico airing this song. XEW-FM aired most of its songs in complete 12-inch versions, not shitty 3-minute radio versions. The jingle was more less like this (in Spanish: XEWFM transmitiendo en estereo desde las calles de Guanajuato 215 esquina con Monterrey en Mexico Distrito Federal, con 100 mil watts de potencia en 96.9 megahertz), it was a real radio station. Soccio received a lot of airplay there.

  • BEST LO MEJOR DE LA MUSICA DISCO GINO

  • Same as for the Girgio (From Here To Eternity) video: i made this myself because a while back i did a video-special with space-disco tracks on my site (www.discoimperium.com) and absolutely wanted this track in that special !!. And there aint no video of this track, nowhere !.

In this case i just used some space images i recorded from a satellite channel, and this was the result...

Just look at it as "great music" with some spacey views..

    Cheerz.

  • now heres a REAL gino video!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUcVxgsc7xY&search=disco%20music%20gino%20soccio%20discotheque

  • again..like the giorgio one..home made video..but this time not even a hint of the original video in it :( someone simply dubbed the rare 1980 remix over some space cable channel scenes and looped the video of it lol

  • Nothing to say... glory!
