Her secret teachings turned out to be frauduent teachings when her helpers became disgruntled with her and explained how there was a secret panel in the box she used to drop questions into and her helpers answered them. Why keep secret the truth unless there is something to hide, like a blatant lie or a hidden agenda that they know is not for our benefit? Why hide truth? I am not of any organized religion but what egotistical comments to make fun of someone because of their beliefs yet support someone who doesn't have the guts to say what they truly believe, who has to hide behind secrecy. Some of you really need to rethink what is really going on here.

I think all that's in the Secret Doctrine is a pure common sense...HPB was quite well versed in the occult(it just means hidden) teachings of the ages from every tradition and gave to the world this gift of knowledge..it has nothing to do with the devil worship or any of that NWO nonsense...but as it's students, we are reminded, that the Occultism is like FIRE, you can't play with it with any kind of safety..as it is written, "it(fire) gives liberation to the Yogis and bondage to the fools"..

Actually, Blavatsky does support the concept of evolution... If that isn't clear, then people are reading their projections into what Blavatsky wrote to sooth their own fears. In all seriousness: even if we did "evolve from apes" as Gomes puts it, what is so scary or appaling about that? Has anyone ever heard of Speciesism
